Ironic when you look at what Axl is now.
A man in his 60s...already stablished...after decades of excesses and illnesses..of gruling tours, constant pain (all sorts), working his ass off. Its better to get old then to die. A girl is always chosen by her looks so what if a guy goes through the same? Specially if the gig is so much about image? Lets leave the hypocrasy behind and not mix the fact that after becoming an icon the person will look like how they have lived and can just say fkit I have nth else to prove. Or you can just keep looking for a scape goat...whatever

Not sure what you’re talking about ? I saw him at MetLife Stadium August 2023 & I was on the floor and real close to the stage. He was not fat nor did he look like “the RNR lifestyle “ took its toll. It’s also pretty well documented that Axl Obviously experimented with drugs, but no matter what band members wrote about him or said about him. It was a consensus that he was not an addict. He was not the guy playing shows strung out so that is your opinion that is factually false and you can read all the books and all the interviews and that has never been said by any of the band members or other musicians or people that were in the know.

Well...so its life. Girls get that all the time, even to get any job we hear "we are too fat...not pretty enough" or the prettier one gets the job despite lacking skills. Makes all the sense in the world for a fat short guy not to make it..specially if the gig has so much of image involved. At least they were honest. You guys seem more towards hypocrisy here no? Its ok to judge a girl by the looks but not a guy? A rock band does not increase its chances with the "right" look? Come on!!! Why you so "chocked"???

Wasnt West recruited externally as a songwriter by the record company? And it turned out they actually liked him so they decided he could stay?
