Oh John-- my faithful champion has finally stopped .. I never had a problem I didn’t get warm juice.. it plowed through large carrots and beets.. what should I think to invest in?
@@homesteaderfiftywmartha603 It really depends. Each juicer has its own set of pros and cons. The champion for sure is one of the FASTEST juicers as you have experience where you can "plow thru" lots of produce fairly quickly due to the higher RPM, the cost is that it tends to oxidize the juice more and the yield may be less (depending on what you are juicing) compared to modern juicers of today. The commercial tribest is a good and durable machine, and will make a higher yield than your champion, but it will take LONGER to juice, and is more time-consuming to clean, but will also make a more nutritious juice. So only YOU can determine if those trade-offs are worth it for you. I personally use the Nama J2 Juicer because it saves me time juicing. See th-cam.com/video/kvW9oOFJBvA/w-d-xo.html where I show the Nama J2 and how easy it is to use, because its a "hands free" juicer where it does the juicing without you. That is what I personally would get, but you may HATE it because the juice quality is different than the champion and it is a slower process, although it will be LESS work for juicing, but a bit more cleaning. Finally, if you REALLY love the champion, you should get it fixed, contact www.championjuicer.com/ to get repairs and buy parts. They are no longer made. If unable to be repaired I would recommend buying a good used one. I have sold the J2 to people that formerly used the champion and they loved it, but I have also sold other juicers to people that owned a champion and they HATED it. So it is really difficult to tell you what you may like more or less, since you have things you dislike and like about juicers, and have gotten used to using your champion, which is like getting a new husband after you have been married to one for 20 years! You are sure to not like some of the things that the new husband does , since your used to how your old one acts.

My Breville foundation cold (which I loved) finally stopped after a few years of weekly juicing. My j2 arrived today. Thanks for saving me 10%. And educational videos.
My J2 found a new home when the J3 arrived. I juice and drink it. No sitting around in the fridge. It's still good for 3 days! No, it just hasn't rotted in 3 days.
I bought the J2 on your coupon code. I juice one purple cabbage and three beets. The pulp seemed wet so I put it through again and got another whole cup of juice!
Yes, that is one of my many tips other influencers wont tell you is that in most cases you can re-juice the pulp in the j2. See th-cam.com/video/KHAWlid09CU/w-d-xo.html for all my tips including how to re-juice more effectively if it doesn't work when just juicing pulp alone.
Hello John, Do you still recommend the Santa 727? Could you do an updated video on the Santa 727 or really any juicer using wheatgrass. I saw the nama juicer video using wheatgrass but that's way to much work. Lastly is it worth me waiting for the new accessories from Nama?
I still use my Sana 727 when called for, the other day I juiced straight bolting cilantro in the 727, It would have not been good in the J2, with too much foam, and potential clogging. Surely the 727 would be a better juicer for wheatgrass than the J2, which can do it, but requires significant effort (cutting wheatgrass). The new j2 accessories, I can say that I am waiting for them myself personally.
Back in the day, that was my favorite juicer. Now days the Nama J2 is my favorite.. The yield in the J2 and VSJ843 are pretty similar as is the nutrition quality, the main difference is the Nama J2 is MUCH easier to use, and takes a little longer to clean. See th-cam.com/video/AH_lvuidw0M/w-d-xo.html for my full comparison.
Bcuz of u i bought the vsj n i use it once n never again. I dnt like tht juicer n it get very hot in 3 mins. Im wondering how to take it back to omega? Worst juicer ever @discountjuicers
@discountjuicers I don't remember the model but I got it from you. I'm not at all saying that my feelings on this juicer are in any way your fault. I asked you to tell me what the best one was for nutrient retention, focusing on leafy greens and wheatgrass, and that's the one I bought. It takes so long that I can't use it often. The blank cone isn't usable either. It cracked the first time I used it. I read reviews and tons of people said the same thing. I don't have much use for it, so it's really not that important anyway. It's just slow. I'm the only parent of a disabled child. I don't have time to breathe. I didn't know. But now I do and am salivating over that J2. I see so many influencers constantly pushing it, so it kind of turned me off of it. If people are doing that big of a marketing bum-rush it's usually not valid.
Good recipes for blended 90 second's add a little ice that I see comes with vata mix recipe booklet I understand the no pulp and why you should just juice big long time. Could do something on why would anyone my just do blended whole juice feasting program your opinion much appreciated. Coming from Las Vegas. I view a lot of your videos. Got my 1st juicer in 1994 got in to healthy life style but never stayed focused on and off 72 years old now with bad lower back. There are pros and cons of blending. See th-cam.com/video/TI1aV0hSkE8/w-d-xo.html which is the biggest downfall of blending. I need to make an updated blending vs juicing video where I share the latest information, in the mean time, this video th-cam.com/video/-Sdz_6ym2E4/w-d-xo.html shares my views on juicing vs vacuum blending, each have their own pros and cons, and honestly, I do both because in their own respects, they are both the healthiest ways to process food.
Considering lowering oxidation of celery juice which juicer will be the best? To have fresh celery juice for longer, Nama J2 or maybe some vertical juicer?
Lowest oxidation celery juice is not made in a juicer, its made in a vacuum blender. See th-cam.com/video/eEPQ8tuPQV4/w-d-xo.html you also get the highest yield. If that is too much work, the Sana 727 running at 40 RPM. See th-cam.com/video/UUPB5qwNiSY/w-d-xo.html
