Thank you! My goal is to create truly in-depth reviews that give people a complete understanding of what they're considering. While many reviews focus on quick impressions and sometimes feel more like a sales pitch, I prioritize education and transparency. I want viewers to feel fully informed and empowered to make the best decision for their needs.
Nama is amazing! I really appreciate how much they think through the functionality of their products! Also this was the best video I've watched on the M1. Other channels highlighted it's main function only, but you mentioned making soups and other things, as well as how to use the silicone mat in the oven to make almond flour!!!
Looks like a great machine! 15 year warranty is incredible..The Nutrimilk machine looked incredible but I heard a lot of people dissatisfied with the quality of machine, warranty and customer service..Definitely getting this Nama nut milk maker..Great presentation John
Hey John, thanks for the very in-depth review as always. I was truly excited to see this product. I have wanted to make my own nut milk but didn’t want to do all the work 😂. This machine is on a whole other level. Can’t wait to get mine. Tfs❤😊
YES! That is what Nama did - They put all the essential parts of making nut milk the old-fashioned way, blending, and then squeezing in a nut milk bag and putting it into an easy-to-use machine that works in minutes! I am glad they did this so that more people can enjoy a multitude of plant-based milks!
Amazing! You made me order J2 2 years ago. It is amazing! Juicing has improved our health immensely!!. I buy like 3-4 boxes of almond milk every week and now I want this M1 so I have control of flavor and ingredients 🎉 😎 using your coupon code!! I wonder if they are going to have some deals for Black Friday so I can save even more!
I already have the NutiMilk processor but if I didn't i would definitely buy this nut machine because i have the Nama J2 juicer and I love it. I look forward to other comparison videos with this new Nama milk maker 😊
John can you please give me your honest opinion, is this truly the best nut milk maker on the market?? Does it really taste creamy or is it watery, I need your honest opinion cuz it's a fairly pricey unit? Thanks.
Nutrimilk is top dog bc there’s literally no pulp left but this looks like a great alternative& better than most machines out there. Kudos to NamaWell.
I'd be interested to see an oat / nut milk comparison between the Nama M1 and the Nama J2 - In theory if I have the J2 I can make all the same plant milks in that, but is there a difference?... Does anyone need both?...
There is a huge difference between the Nama J2 which was designed as a juicer (but can also make nut milk) but IMO does a TERRIBLE job at making nut milk, as I reveal in the video th-cam.com/video/clvmB_yqu3Y/w-d-xo.html Why does the J2 do a poor job? Two reasons: 1. Does not grind up and extract all the nutrients and fats from the nuts since there is minimal grinding done as the nut works out of the machine. It makes more of a nut butter than a true nut pulp. 2. It makes a very WATERY nut milk, that has a low % of extracted fats and nutrients from the nuts. Do you need the M1? If you make nut milk once a month and don't mind inferior nut milk, then NO you don't need the M1. But if you make nut milk regularly and drink a lot of Nut milk, then I say YES! because 1. The M1 is EASIER to clean than the Nama J2 (Takes me 1 minute to clean m1) vs 4-5 minutes for J2 2. The M1 GRINDS up the nuts BETTER than the J2 and extracts more nutrition and fats from the nuts 3. the M1 GETS the nut pulp more DRY and EXTRACTED than the Nama J2. I will have a future video where I compare the j2 and m1 making nut milk.
YES! brand new, there is NO other product like this on the market. It blends your nuts in 1 minute, automatically strains the nut pulp in 1 minute and then you have about 1 minute in cleaning.
I have been using Nutramilk for s couple of years now. Which I have love. But this one, well night and day. Ordered immediately. Question does it make nut nutters?
The Nama M1 will only make nut milk and can do a few other things like make extractions, but can not do dry grinding (to make nut butter), the Nutramilk can also be used as a food processor. In terms of NUT MILK: For the price, warranty, time used, cleaning, and size, I would say the Nama M1 is superior to the Nutramilk (1 yr warranty) and that thing is a beast! On the finished product- the nutramilk basically makes nut butter and then blends in and strains out the nut milk, which contains more fiber, so it does have a richer texture and is a "heavier" milk, it is also more difficult to clean and more expensive. The Nama M1 works significantly faster (3 minutes including cleaning!) Nutramilk is at least 10 minutes + Cleaning So maybe 15+ minutes. Only you can decide which style of nut milk and the amount of work you want to invest in making nut milk..
@@discountjuicers thank you! I currently have the Nutramikk but one of component broke so considering now if I should just buy the new Nama M1 to replace it. Or fix other.
@@discountjuicersisn’t the Nutramilk also able to be used in a restaurant and made for commercial use while the M1 is only for home use. Doesn’t that make a big difference?
@@chayfagan4841 It only makes a difference if you are using it commercially. the Nutramilk is NSF for health standards for health department compliance. Otherwise it has a 1 year warranty. The M1 is NOT designed for commercial use, only home use but has a 15 year warranty.
That's a good question. I have not heard of pea milk before, but if you are soaking split peas, then cooking, then normally blending and straining, the M1 should do the blending and straining of cooked split peas added to water. I have tried this process with soybeans and it works great. Watch the video at th-cam.com/video/t7gkKFKDI6s/w-d-xo.html
Hi there! Similar to juice, 3 days is optimal in the fridge. Separation can occur, so feel free to stir it if this happens. You can also freeze the milk in ice cube trays and even use it to make sorbet. The dry pulp could be stored for about that long as well for baking and other recipes. Hope this helps!
Yes! I walk through the entire process in this episode: th-cam.com/video/t7gkKFKDI6s/w-d-xo.html It’s disappointing to me that Nama doesn’t include this important information in the recipe book that comes with the Nama M1. It’s also surprising that they don’t mention soy milk at all in their marketing, considering it contains 6-7 times more protein than tree nuts. Highlighting this could make a big difference for those looking to maximize nutrition with their plant-based milks!

@@discountjuicers thank you so much! A video would be great. I just ordered my M1 on Friday using your coupon code. Can't wait to get started. My J2 needs a friend on the counter. 🙂
Why weren’t the almonds soaked overnight, like you do in your blender/juicer recipe from a while ago? Can you add more almonds to make it thicker? The water to nut ratio looked like it was a bit too much water.
Update: I went to the Nama site. I now see that the recipes are just a recommendation. I also saw a video they had on making barista “cream”. I’m sold. Ordered. Should be here in 2 days. Wish I could just go pick it up. Their head office/farm is just a couple of hours away.
You CAN soak the almonds if you like, but it's not necessary for the machine to work. I rarely plan ahead so I'm not good at pre-soaking my nuts, which can be a good thing to start the sprouting process, remove enzyme inhibitors and decrease phytic acid. To make it thicker you can 1) add nuts or 2) reduce water. Which needs to be within certain amounts for the machine to work properly. You need to have enough liquid in there so the M1 will blend, so you can add a minimum of 2 cups of water You can load up the M1 with a cup or two of ingredients maximum or you will be overloading the chamber that spins out the milk.
YES! Coconut shreds can be used to Make coconut milk in the M1 (Recipe in instruction book that is included) You can also use FRESH mature coconut to make nut Milk in the M1 (which is my preference) I will soon have a video where I demonstrate this.
Good review. Every product that comes out is “the best on the market” according to you. According to yr never ending reviews we would have to buy every product you review. Confusing. Since we are buying these appliances and not getting them for free we don’t need to be left confused about which one to buy. Frustrating
Love all your unboxing videos, you explain it so well!! You are my go to resource,. I have their juicer which is life altering and l will get the plant milk one as well. One quick question at the very beginning of your video you said you will show us a barista oat milk to rival any oat milk sold in the stores. Don't know what happened but you never did do that. Perhaps another video might be required, please and than you John
I did use oats as well as other nuts to make the Golden Milk. You can add in 1/2 cup of oats with 1/2 cup nuts (or other ratios, 1/3,1/3,1/3) to create some delicious recipes, since oats are lower in fat they don't taste as rich, and the secret is getting your recipe right, there are several recipes in the M1 recipe book to get you started!
It is equivalent of blending and straining with a nut milk bag, but without all the work and the mess. The mesh on the screen is as fine as a nut milk bag.
Thank you for an great video! Until now, I've been making nutmilk by vacuumblending the nuts and dates with water, and then putting them through Nama J2 as you recommended a while ago.. That has been amazing. Would you say that M1 is making as good creamy and delicious as using vacuumblender and then Nama J2?
I would honestly still recommend vacuum blending, and then using alexas bags to strain, since it does take a lot of time on the j2 to do that task. I will have a video in the future comparing vacuum blending and hand straining vs the M1 for those who want to learn the specific differences.
@@discountjuicers Thank you for answer John. I'm looking very much forward that episode. I will probably wait to buy the M1 until I've seen that. Thank you very much for all the amazing in depth content you are doing. I'm showing friends all this amazing juice vacuum storage and vacuum blending stuff I learned from you😊👌👌
So the big question is will Nama make an attachment for the J2 juicer that works just like this does? I just bought my J2 earlier this year and I really want this one but if they could just make an attachment that would be better than me having to spend the money on another machine and having two separate units instead of just two separate containers basically.
It is not possible to make an attachment for the J2 to extract nut milk like the m1. The motor of the J2 runs at 50 RPM (preset) and can not be changed, where as the motor in the M1 is a dual speed motor and can run at 10,000 RPM (grinding) and 2,500 RPM for spinning. That being said you can make nut milk in the Nama J2, I recommend watching my video for the best way to do it: th-cam.com/video/clvmB_yqu3Y/w-d-xo.html
@@discountjuicers Thank you for the explanation. I have made nut milk and oat milk with my J2 but I'm pretty sure I'll just end up getting this new one because I buy a lot of non-dairy milks and in the end this will end up saving me money and is also better for the environment
I don't blame you for not liking the Almond Cow. I was blown away when I compared the Almond Cow to the Nama M1. Watch it at th-cam.com/video/yRsfpzeLHBM/w-d-xo.html
I will compare nutramilk to M1 in the future. So far watch the M1 vs Almond cow at th-cam.com/video/yRsfpzeLHBM/w-d-xo.html and M1 vs J2 at th-cam.com/video/kPz2m_0P99A/w-d-xo.html more comparisons coming..
IDK. I still think a vacuum blender and a nut milk bag would make better nut milk and also easier to clean. But then I do vaccum blender juicing and love it.
I would agree that a vacuum blender would make a more nutritious nut milk than the M1. However, cleaning the stainless screen of the M1 is easier than cleaning a nut milk bag in my opinion. If they made the Nama M1 a vacuum milk maker that would have been ideal, I did recommend that, and they may have an attachment for that one day, although blending would be under vacuum, not sure how they would spin it out and still keep the vacuum when you have to open the spout to have it spin, although you could have most it vacuum made when you just drain it out.
I wish they could do that also, but the J2 motor is FIXXED RPM at 50, and the M1 has a special motor that can run at 10,000 RPM to blend and 2500 RPM to spin and extract the nut milk. In the future when motor technology advances, it would be possible to have one motor that does it all!
Hey John. In one of your future videos reviewing this product, would you consider using hemp seeds to make hemp milk? Pecans? Walnuts? Pistachios? I'm very interested in this.
Yes, for sure will be using different nuts and seeds in future episodes. All the nuts/seeds you listed will work just fine. Seeds like Chia (and flax to a lesser degree) would not work since they tend to GEL too much when soaked in water.
Hi there! The M1 Plant-Based Milk Maker is designed to create nut, grain, and seed-based milk at home. However, you are able to infuse soft produce such as strawberries, bananas, or pitted peaches to create flavored milk. We hope this clarifies your question and please let us know if there’s anything else we can help with!
That's a good question, if you already have a stick blender the Vegan Milk Emulsifier is a No-brainer since its so inexpensive to purchase, however it is a fair amount of work to use it (and there is a slight learning curve to use it correctly) I did use that at the trade show, ( th-cam.com/video/6IHxKc_CNZM/w-d-xo.html ) and it did a great job and is easy to clean. The downside of that machine is that it adds lots of air when making the milk. But was quite fast and efficient. The M1 on the other hand has a 15 yr warranty, and there is no work on your part to make nut milk and about a minute of cleaning when your done. So each method has its own pros and cons.
@discountjuicers, Thanks a great for your educational response. Based on the "air" factor, as you indicated in the process, l will be leaning towards the M1. Thanks always for help.
You can surely add warm water, adding hot water is another story. While the M1 has vent holes, so the steam can vent out, it is made of plastic. Every plastic has a heat tolerance. I don't know the specifics on the BPA-FREE plastic used in the M1, but to be cautious I would not recommend adding liquids hotter than 180 degrees to be on the safe side.
This machine does traditional blending. Although I have mentioned to the CEO of Nama it should vacuum blend, and hopefully in the future they will have an attachment to do just that. although when you spin and drain, it would no longer be under vacuum, since the spout would be open.
Love the nut milk maker.. don't love the price. $400 is an awful lot of investment for nut milk. Can't the normal slow juicers also produce nut milks just as well? How a vitamix... how do they all compare?
Totally understand where you're coming from-the price can feel high for sure! While slow juicers can make nut milk, they often don’t grind the nuts finely enough, resulting in a more watery milk and a lot of wasted nuts. A Vitamix can produce similar quality milk, but it’s a lot more work: you need to blend, strain, and squeeze by hand, which takes more time and can be pretty messy. The M1, on the other hand, is designed specifically for nut milk, giving you creamy, smooth milk in just 2 minutes, with a super easy 1-minute cleanup. If time and convenience are key, the M1 might just be worth it! Also the M1 has a 15 year warranty, so really its like paying $26.66 a year to have a dedicated nut milk maker on your team.
@@discountjuicers Thx for your reply John. I Wonder how this compares to that moomilk device you demo'd a few weeks back using the stick blender. Already have that and there seem to be a bunch of similar products on Amazon that do the same for about $60. Have you tried them?
Just filmed it yesterday. The M1 IMO made a better milk (thicker) and more dense (creamy) milk quality that I show with a meter. Preview that episode before it airs publically at th-cam.com/video/kPz2m_0P99A/w-d-xo.html
Hi John, can i ask you something unrelated: What sprouting method do you currently recommend? I've seen an older video where you demonstrate the Tribest Freshlife FL-3000. Is this worth it or would you rather go with normal mason jars, trays or, bags? Any product recommendation would be much appreciated! Thank you!
I am not a fan generally of "automatic" sprouters. The best automatic one was the easygreen but it's no longer available. I personally sprout in jars myself when I Sprout. Although Sprout bags may be better for some seeds/beans due to the greater airflow and can help keep things not as moist, which can be problematic in some cases.
@@chayfagan4841 The main issue with most automatic sprouters on the market today is that they tend to recycle the same water to keep the sprouts moist. While this might seem efficient, it often leads to contamination as the water quickly becomes stale. Over time, this can cause the sprouts to get slimy and even produce an unpleasant odor. In contrast, methods like jars or sprout bags allow for fresh water rinses each time, reducing the risk of bacterial buildup and keeping the sprouts fresher and cleaner.

I have not tested Vitamix in some time, because they do not make a vacuum blender. Their quality over the years IMO has gone down as many of their components (including motor) are now made overseas where they use to be mad e in the USA. At this time, I only recommend vacuum blending since it is NEXT LEVEL blending, please watch th-cam.com/video/vXElAVCtbcQ/w-d-xo.html where I compare all the top models in the market.

Ease of use, price, warranty, cleaning, size, etc. etc. aside, in terms of just pure milk - the true finished product - I'm guessing you'd say the Nutrimilk is still superior? Richer, more flavorful end-product (for the same ratio of products going in obviously or else it wouldn't be a fair comparison)? Or...?

If you have a dynapro and alexas bags (which I showed in this video), IMO you can MAKE A BETTER nut milk, since it will be vacuum blended. That being said, it will be a lot more work since you will need to manually squeeze out the pulp, so the question comes down to: are you committed to having a higher quality nut milk for more work, time and cleaning? or would you just like the convenience of the Nama M1? Hi there! Yes, you can make soy milk with the Nama M1! However, since the M1 doesn’t have a heating element, making soy milk is a two-step process. Soybeans must be cooked first to create smooth, creamy soy milk in the M1 and to ensure safe consumption. Here’s how to make soy milk in the Nama M1: 1. Start by soaking 1 cup of dry soybeans in water for 8-12 hours. 2. After soaking, drain and rinse the soybeans. Then, cook them in boiling water for about 15-20 min, or until fully cooked and tender. Drain again, then let the soybeans cool off - They should not feel hot to the touch. 3. Add the cooked soybeans to the M1, along with fresh water. For a creamier consistency, we recommend a 1:2 ratio of cooked soybeans to water. Add to the M1 and blend for 1 min. 4. If desired, add a natural sweetener like maple syrup, dates, or vanilla during the blending process to taste. Once completed, you’ll have homemade soy milk ready to enjoy. Hope this helps!

@@kgaoletsaDNA0 There are surely dedicated soy milk makers, they cook soybeans and then mix them with water, and then strain them, but the issue is that you have to use a large ratio of water to soybeans, and it does not FULLY ring out the spend soy, so it's a very dilute milk. The Soyabella by Tribest is one such appliance. What makes the M1 so unique is the unique "spin cycle" that gets the pulp almost as dry as hand squeezing.
I have a soyajoy, which does everything except strain. But it did come with a strainer that I just rest on my measuring cup. The nutr also has a heat setting, I’ve used my friend’s before.

@@discountjuicersI agree completely. I got nut milk maker because it can make soy milk. I will be extremely busy in the coming years with 2 tiny companies and full time accelerated studies and ordered m1 from your link yesterday to just saved the valuable time in the future. But I am allergic to most nuts and soy milk is my go to. Getting any info how to use the m1to make it is being hard
I recommend using filtered water where chlorine & fluoride and other contaminants are removed. I personally use distilled water because it is PURE water without any minerals. You can also use Reverse Osmosis Water. My belief is that the hard minerals in water are not best for us to drink as they are not well absorbed and may have negative health effects. I would rather blend nuts and other foods(that contain more absorbable minerals) that are in the right form to consume. However, in the M1 you can use any liquid such as tap water, coconut water, or even coffee. I will have future videos showing the fun you can have.
Why do you yell so much man, we are right here haha I know you get over-excited. PS aren't all bottled coconut waters (heat-treated) so not truly raw, organic and devoid of living enzymes? I would pre-soak to activate enzymes and rinse top remove phytic acids. I wonder if you can use coconut. Nice video, thanks
BTW I recently got a NAMA J2 replacement hopper as mine broke, and now the top lid doesn't come off, some silly things they do like this I have noticed.
It is my way of being really excited! Of course, you can just turn the volume down :) Most bottled coconut waters are heat treated that being said, the TAJA brand coconut water is not heated, its microfiltered for people that want a living coconut water in a bottle. While you can soak your nuts to activate enzymes and remove phytic acid it's not necessary to use the M1. I don't drink a lot of nut milk, and I never plan when I want to make it so I rarely soak my nuts. YES! You can use dried coconut or fresh coconut to make nut milk in the M1 I will have a video soon.
@@truesight91 The top lid should still come off on the J2, that being said, it may be ALOT more difficult to remove, since they had many complaints (including from me) that it would come off too easily when touched.
Thank you for your comment! I see how the term "addicted" could come across a bit strong, and I definitely didn't mean to suggest that anyone who enjoys a pinch of salt is an "addict." I was speaking casually, and in hindsight, I could have been more precise with my wording. Many people simply enjoy salt, and that's completely normal. That said, it’s worth noting that the American Heart Association (AHA) recommends no more than 1,500 milligrams of sodium per day for optimal heart health, while most Americans consume around 3,400 milligrams daily-more than double the recommendation. Over time, regular high-sodium intake can lead to taste adaptation, meaning that people may gradually require more salt to achieve the same flavor satisfaction. This isn’t about addiction in a clinical sense, but rather how our taste buds can adjust to higher sodium levels. I totally understand that a pinch of salt isn’t harmful on its own. My main point is just to be mindful of overall intake, as too much sodium can have long-term health effects. Again, I really appreciate your feedback, and I hope this helps clarify my intent!
i wish they could have did this, but the Juicer runs at a FIXXED 50 RPM, where as the M1 runs at 10,000 and 2,500 RPM, so its totally different, although they look the same.
Yes! I walk through the entire process in this episode: th-cam.com/video/t7gkKFKDI6s/w-d-xo.html It’s disappointing to me that Nama doesn’t include this important information in the recipe book that comes with the Nama M1. Hi man! Distilled water is not good for consumption, you diluting minerals in your body, it is not the same if plants has same water in it, they contain minerals.
Thanks for your comment! I understand your concern about distilled water. The reason I use it in this video is that I’m adding it with nutrient-dense foods, like nuts, when making milk with the Nama M1. The minerals from the food itself help replenish what’s missing from the water, so you're still getting a healthy, mineral-rich drink. Regarding distilled water, it’s true that it lacks minerals, but it’s also free from contaminants, which can make it a great base for food preparation. When consumed with a balanced diet, the nutrients from food help compensate for any mineral loss. Studies show that distilled water can be safely consumed if your diet includes foods rich in minerals. In the context of this recipe, the Nama M1 ensures that the plant milk is rich in nutrition.

Thank you for your support and glad ou are enjoying your M1!
You explained everything very well, John! I always appreciate your in-depth reviews!!! Thank you!

I want viewers to feel fully informed and empowered to make the best decision for their needs.
Oh my goodness I was waiting for this ❤
Thank you John for a fantastic presentation .
Always a joy watching you.
Thanks.
Thank you for the video🙏 If we need to use the warranty how do we use it??
Aloha, always love your demonstrations over the years ❤ you always open my eyes on these products. Thank you 😊
Excellent review John!
Please, if you know - Is it available for 220v? Are the containers plastic or glass? Thnku.
Nutrimilk is top dog bc there’s literally no pulp left but this looks like a great alternative& better than most machines out there. Kudos to NamaWell.
Thank you for your thorough videos! You rock! I'll definitely be buying one from you, and in the future plan to buy PURE from you as well.
I'd be interested to see an oat / nut milk comparison between the Nama M1 and the Nama J2 - In theory if I have the J2 I can make all the same plant milks in that, but is there a difference?... Does anyone need both?...
There is a huge difference between the Nama J2 which was designed as a juicer (but can also make nut milk) but IMO does a TERRIBLE job at making nut milk, as I reveal in the video th-cam.com/video/clvmB_yqu3Y/w-d-xo.html
Why does the J2 do a poor job? Two reasons:
But if you make nut milk regularly and drink a lot of Nut milk, then I say YES! because
1. The M1 is EASIER to clean than the Nama J2 (Takes me 1 minute to clean m1) vs 4-5 minutes for J2
2. The M1 GRINDS up the nuts BETTER than the J2 and extracts more nutrition and fats from the nuts
3. the M1 GETS the nut pulp more DRY and EXTRACTED than the Nama J2.
I will have a future video where I compare the j2 and m1 making nut milk.
This is so much fun seeing a brand new type of product. Thanks.
YES! brand new, there is NO other product like this on the market. It blends your nuts in 1 minute, automatically strains the nut pulp in 1 minute and then you have about 1 minute in cleaning.
I have a vitamix ascent a3500. Which machine would you say is better to make my milk with?
I have been using Nutramilk for s couple of years now. Which I have love. But this one, well night and day. Ordered immediately. Question does it make nut nutters?
Correction, Nut butters
Unfortunately, the M1 was not designed to make Nut butter.
And that’s why I come to your channel first to get the tee❤❤❤
How does this compared to the Nutramilk which also makes nut butter?
The Nama one def looks smaller than the Nutramilk machine.
Hi John, we have nut allergies in my family. Can we make pea milk with this machine?
That's a good question. I have not heard of pea milk before, but if you are soaking split peas, then cooking, then normally blending and straining, the M1 should do the blending and straining of cooked split peas added to water. I have tried this process with soybeans and it works great. Watch the video at th-cam.com/video/t7gkKFKDI6s/w-d-xo.html
John's now renting out apartments for his infomercials... lol... echoey!
Once the nut milk is made, how long will it store in the fridge sealed and unsealed. How do you know when nut milk goes bad?
Does it work for soybeans too?

Wow!!! Ordered!!! So excited.
Can you run back to back batches?
You need to have enough liquid in there so the M1 will blend, so you can add a minimum of 2 cups of water
You can load up the M1 with a cup or two of ingredients maximum or you will be overloading the chamber that spins out the milk.
Can I use coconut also
YES! Coconut shreds can be used to Make coconut milk in the M1 (Recipe in instruction book that is included)
You can also use FRESH mature coconut to make nut Milk in the M1 (which is my preference)
I will soon have a video where I demonstrate this.
Thank you i am so excited to get one
Good review. Every product that comes out is “the best on the market” according to you. According to yr never ending reviews we would have to buy every product you review. Confusing. Since we are buying these appliances and not getting them for free we don’t need to be left confused about which one to buy. Frustrating
Want badly. Just recently used your code for the Hurom H 70 which is great so far! As soon as my husband lets me, I’ll be using your code for this
Love all your unboxing videos, you explain it so well!!
Thank you. That makes sense. I normally use filtered water.
Thank you John, ordered now.
Hi! Hows the texture of the milk? Is it gritty? Or is it equivalent to blendind and straining using a nut milk bag? Thank you!
It is equivalent of blending and straining with a nut milk bag, but without all the work and the mess. The mesh on the screen is as fine as a nut milk bag.
Hi John - Can the M1 be used to make tiger nut milk? Thanks!
Yes!
Oh boy you made me get another nama😂. J2 first and now this one. I love my Nama so this is a no brainer and seems so much easier than my almond cow.
Yessss! I need the side by side. I have the almond cow that I got in March but I'm not loving it
I don't blame you for not liking the Almond Cow. I was blown away when I compared the Almond Cow to the Nama M1. Watch it at th-cam.com/video/yRsfpzeLHBM/w-d-xo.html
Can't wait for the milk comparison machines! What about the nutramilk machine, too?
@@discountjuicers ok. I will definitely buy one when they make one with a vacuum attachment. Thanks John.
I feel like this should be an attachment for the j2 base.
Can this do fruits or only nuts?
John, what is your take between Vegan Milker Emulsifier and Nama M1 for plant milk and soup. Which among the two will you recommend and why? Thanks
Do you think you can add warm or hot water to it?
You can surely add warm water, adding hot water is another story. While the M1 has vent holes, so the steam can vent out, it is made of plastic. Every plastic has a heat tolerance. I don't know the specifics on the BPA-FREE plastic used in the M1, but to be cautious I would not recommend adding liquids hotter than 180 degrees to be on the safe side.
John maybe you can customize it where it's vacuumed and you share with us
Hello John, in one of your videos, I remember you saying that when we blend, we should vacuum blend. Does this machine vacuum blend or just blend?
This machine does traditional blending. Although I have mentioned to the CEO of Nama it should vacuum blend, and hopefully in the future they will have an attachment to do just that. although when you spin and drain, it would no longer be under vacuum, since the spout would be open.
Maybe we all should recommend the vacuumed to Nama then they listen
@@discountjuicers thanks for clarifying that. Regardless, it seems to be a pretty cool neat machine.
@@pesto12601 I only tried it at the trade show. Would make a similar result, with a larger learning curve and a but more cleaning.
I would like to see a comparison between the M1 and J2 for milk quality.
@@discountjuicerswhat’s wrong with automat sprout machines?
@@chayfagan4841 The main issue with most automatic sprouters on the market today is that they tend to recycle the same water to keep the sprouts moist. While this might seem efficient, it often leads to contamination as the water quickly becomes stale. Over time, this can cause the sprouts to get slimy and even produce an unpleasant odor. In contrast, methods like jars or sprout bags allow for fresh water rinses each time, reducing the risk of bacterial buildup and keeping the sprouts fresher and cleaner.
What is the benefit of buying this vs using my Nama J2 to make plant milk
There is a huge difference between the M1 and the J2 which was designed as a juicer (but can also make nut milk) IMO the J2 does a TERRIBLE job at making nut milk, as I reveal in the video th-cam.com/video/clvmB_yqu3Y/w-d-xo.html
Why does the J2 do a poor job? Two reasons:
But if you make nut milk regularly and drink a lot of Nut milk, then I say YES! because
Do you have any video about vitamix? I want to know whats best vitamix in the market please
Can’t wait to receive it 🎉

Ease of use, price, warranty, cleaning, size, etc. etc. aside, in terms of just pure milk - the true finished product - I'm guessing you'd say the Nutrimilk is still superior? Richer, more flavorful end-product (for the same ratio of products going in obviously or else it wouldn't be a fair comparison)? Or...?
For the price, warranty, time used, cleaning, and size, I would say the Nama M1(15 Year Warranty) is superior to the Nutramilk (1 yr warranty) and that thing is a beast!

Can you make coconut milk in this using dried coconut flakes?
YES! There are recipes in the included recipe book with dried coconut flakes. However, I recommend using FRESH coconut for better flavor and nutrition. I will have a video demonstrating this soon.
@@discountjuicers Yay! Thank you. I wish I could use fresh coconut, but none of my natural health food stores sell them.
CAN we heat the milk to have the foam like starbuck for latté
YES, you can heat the milk or use a frother to make it more frothy if you would like.

Can you make coconut milk with coconut flakes, with M1?
YES, you can use dried or FRESH coconut meat and make coconut milk. I will have a video in the future about it.
@@discountjuicers Great, thank you. I am in North-Norway, so getting fresh coconut is difficult.
Hey John , can you do a video showing the m1 with the Dynapro and nitro milk machine. I mean I have a Dynapro and I didn’t like the nutrmilk, I don’t like it. I am I am looking now a milk machine. But I want my money worth. If I have a Dynapro do I need this?
If you have a dynapro and alexas bags (which I showed in this video), IMO you can MAKE A BETTER nut milk, since it will be vacuum blended. That being said, it will be a lot more work since you will need to manually squeeze out the pulp, so the question comes down to: are you committed to having a higher quality nut milk for more work, time and cleaning? or would you just like the convenience of the Nama M1? Here is my video showing how to make nut milk in the Dynapro th-cam.com/video/F9tXMtg2sIw/w-d-xo.html I use coconut in the video but you can use any nut and the process is the same.
@@discountjuicers Thanks John,
I think I’ll keep my Dynapro for now, but will you still do a comparison video.
@@chayfagan4841 I will have a video comparing M1 to Vacuum Blending + Hand Squeezing in the future.

Can you make soy milk or just nut milk
Hi there! Yes, you can make soy milk with the Nama M1! However, since the M1 doesn’t have a heating element, making soy milk is a two-step process. Soybeans must be cooked first to create smooth, creamy soy milk in the M1 and to ensure safe consumption.
Here’s how to make soy milk in the Nama M1:
Is it better than Almond Cow?
IMO, YES, by far, The M1 makes a much more rich nut milk and no possibility of screwing up, the almond cow leaves very wet pulp. Watch for yourself at th-cam.com/video/yRsfpzeLHBM/w-d-xo.html
How about i make nut milk with the J2?
You can do that, however it makes a much different nut milk.
But if you make nut milk regularly and drink a lot of Nut milk, then I say YES! because
I will have a future video where I compare the j2 and m1 making nut milk.
is there now a soy milk Maker that is of this equivalency? thanks?
The M1 CAN be used to make soymilk I walk through the entire process in this episode: th-cam.com/video/t7gkKFKDI6s/w-d-xo.html It’s disappointing to me that Nama doesn’t include this important information in the recipe book that comes with the Nama M1. It’s also surprising that they don’t mention soy milk at all in their marketing, considering it contains 6-7 times more protein than tree nuts. Highlighting this could make a big difference for those looking to maximize nutrition with their plant-based milks!
@@discountjuicers oh i alright, i was wondering. it would be nice to have a machine that does nut and Bean milk without you having to Boil separately.
we look forward to your video. thank you Sir!
Thanks!

Why distilled water? I heard distilled water wasn’t good for drinking.
Amazing machine
Just that we don’t really use milks
Why do you yell so much man, we are right here haha I know you get over-excited. PS aren't all bottled coconut waters (heat-treated) so not truly raw, organic and devoid of living enzymes?
I would pre-soak to activate enzymes and rinse top remove phytic acids. I wonder if you can use coconut. Nice video, thanks
BTW I recently got a NAMA J2 replacement hopper as mine broke, and now the top lid doesn't come off, some silly things they do like this I have noticed.
It is my way of being really excited! Of course, you can just turn the volume down :)
Most bottled coconut waters are heat treated that being said, the TAJA brand coconut water is not heated, its microfiltered for people that want a living coconut water in a bottle.
Wondering why you think people who prefer a pinch of salt is considered an addict. That's a huge leap in assumption
I am soooooooooo glad that I didn’t buy that Almond Cow Milk Machine.
Too bad they didn't make it where it was vacuumed
Frustrating that they couldn't have made this to fit the motor base of the juicer.
i wish they could have did this, but the Juicer runs at a FIXXED 50 RPM, where as the M1 runs at 10,000 and 2,500 RPM, so its totally different, although they look the same.
Almonds and Oats don’t lactate. Lol😂

If this is a supposedly "honest" review, WHY are you so excitedly RECOMMENDING this item before even opening the box??!!
Guys, take my advice, don't get this get the nutramilk it makes much better milk. The nutrimilk is thicker and doesn't taste watery
