Great video Remy because most vegan channels focus on food and the vegan options that are available when it comes to non food products aren't mentioned as much but should be because most non vegans and those on a plant based diet for health may think veganism is about diet which it isn't.
omg i did not know there air force 1’s that are vegan-friendly and come in all-white, so thank you for bringing it to my attention ! i’ve been wanting some for years, but obvi did not wanna throw my morals out for the leather one
@@loveloveyes1838 i believe so! in the product details section on nike's website for them, it says, "Synthetic materials, glues and colors do not contain detectable amounts of animal content."
I think the Nike one is the perfect example of something being “vegan” yet still unethical. IMO being vegan is caring about other humans and not just animals.
they’re factories are literally worked by children working for pennies to buy rice. they treat their employees so badly and is such an unethical company.
I actually got the Be Flamboyant after seeing you posting about them on IG….being eyeing them for a while, and having your opinion on them sold me! I tried them on at a vegan store in France, so I was able to check my size, and they are super comfy! The Nikes look so nice…not sure I would buy them cause Nike….but excited and happy to see big brands do more vegan and sustainable options! That was a great video
Love this video! Personally I also like to buy shoes from resale sites like Depop or Vestiaire collective that have never been worn (sometimes with tags still on) - I feel like that’s the best of both worlds haha
Loved your recommendations. Of course as others say, Nike is rather questionable, but even if it is often kind of greenwashing if such companies offer vegan/ more sustainable options, its better than nothing and more customers may be inspired to opt for those "better" options. About the Be Flamboyants: I love mine, they are comfortable, they look nice and are easy to maintain clean apart from this little fabric part (which is the only downside as it stains easily and I never get it 100% white again when cleaning). But even if a little stained, this now greyish fabric part isn't too obvious so the shoes still look very nice after about 1 year of wear. Great quality overall. Other shoes that I can recommend are "Adidas Supercourt Vegan/ Recycled" and the ones from Flamingos Life.
Great video ! Thank you very much. Could you do more sustainable videos ? Its a really important topic and you seem to be careful about what you use and buy. It would be very inspiring to have more of that. :)
Yay I DMed you about the nikes! I'm so glad you grabbed some. I got the air forces and pretty much the same and very comfy 😌
AHHH YAY I'm so so glad you did, life changing tbh :')
I love the shoes from RICE, they are super sustainable and really comfortable

I was just thinking about how I need a new pair of sneakers and wanted to go sustainable. Somehow you always know the content I want to watch!
Those dunks are so cool. I have to get some!

Great tip!
I've never seen those pink dunk highs before! I love the shades and quilted look
Im obsessed :')
I'm debating between Vaja and Loci. Do you recommend one over the other? I'm 50 and comfort is the most important part for me.
you should try Vessi! i have one and it's really comfortable!
I was kind of surprised she didn’t include Vessi 😆
Love this info! Thanks!

So happy you made this!! I’ve been looking for sustainable shoe alternatives and was considering vejas. Would you say they are breathable?
You're just so gorgeous 😊

The "Be Flamboyant" pair are my fave. They're also your least comfortable pair so.. yeah that tracks. 🙃
Ahahahahahahha, just make sure you grab the right size, don't do what I did :P
Great video!
are you sure the glue of the shoes is vegans ?
Sorry but Nike vegan ok ...ethical...i don't think so ...
Stock x is fake 💀
Nike is one of the most UN-sustainable brands are you kidding
