As a doctor I think it's terrible that her parents are letting their (at the time) underage daughter compete in full-contact professional fights but, as a lifelong martial artist, I appreciate her talent. Never a good idea to let bodies that are still developing take this kind of abuse.
It's not good in general to take this kind of abuse. If something like 80% of football players have symptoms of CTE despite wearing helmets then I can only imagine how bad it is in this sport.
@@KingDrixx I guess the hits to the head and neck are far more violent in football. Less frequent but heavier.
It’s normal in other areas of the world. Especially in MT, with native Thais. It’s the only real way out of poverty.

Oh how I hope she'll never end up in UFC. One is so much more entertaining. One is a bigger organisation, have healthier regulations, pay (most) females a lot more, allow the fighters to do stuff outside of One, give athletes the opportunity to do more than one sport. They also do this crazy thing of focusing on the sport instead of the TLC drama UFC goes for with constructed drama outside of the ring. As a bonus, no Dana and no Joe Rogan!
