Best Angie lesson on youtube. I say this as a lot of people on here have the chords right but Justin shows how important the timing is. Also best Mick imitation ever. Who gives a good gooey crap if he is wearing sunglasses or resembles Bruce Willis. One of the biggest problems in today's music is the emphasis on looks and little on musical content. Top notch video..
Also, Justin is the best guitar teacher with the best website on the internet.

Justin...after watching you trip over your tongue a few times I was just waiting for you to put your hands up and say the hell with Angie....I need a drink....and if you were in NY Id buy you 2...you earned it....great job....BTW...I wanted to thank you for teaching me and making your lessons available at no cost although I do have both the We Came As Strangers Cd's....I like that you never push your products down peoples throats and because of that Im sure your life is more abundant in many ways....decency must be rewarded....you are a true gentleman sir...thank you once again for taking the time and effort to make these most excellent lessons.

This really really helped me. (Even now that i kinda know how to play it, i'm still using your lesson to master the rhythm.. I've propably watched certain parts up to 50x times)

Bought the vintage book off the back of the lesson, first of all its more than just a song book with lots of tips and advice on how to play the songs.
The book is very well laid out, I'm very pleased with it, I highly recommend this little jewel.
Just wanted to say thanks to both of you guys. Hearing someone hit the chords and notes on the guitar, and hearing a very approximate vocal, which is hard to copy, brings some inspiration to learning the song myself.
It's worth the effort,including the teacher. I think I was in love with Angie in High School...

I have spent several hours writing my own tabs from your lesson just for the intro - all the while stopping and starting - replaying in slow motion etc to get each note and work out the fingering - and then doing it all over again to get the rhythm - I have yet to get around to the verse and chorus section - so I now get the value of having the tabs to hand to hasten the learning such as in your book
So to you others, if you put a value on your own time i.e.have the time to spare, then I guess buying Justin's book for what might equate to couple of hours work is a good investment - given that to write your own tabs for dozens of songs in the books could easily take up weeks of your time

I tried to learn this song when it fist came out but with just a vinyl record and later a cassette tape to use I was never able to accomplish much. I now have a dream realized and I thank you so much. I took your advice and once I learned the notes and your picking technique I went to a live version to work out the fine nuances. Found out that even though I knew the notes I needed a whole of work on the timing. I've got it down good enough now to really appreciate your time in teaching this, and so with that I say thank you.

I had a go at this before the vid (from the songbook) and gave up. the vid is awesome and inspiring and shows the limit to learning from the book alone ( although it is very good for the intro tab and those quirky chord shapes). keep on truckin Justin, respect.
