Heard this song long ago, I was probably 20 or 21, on a radio, at work, in St Petersburg, Russia. I loved it so much. I thought "If I ever have a daughter I will name her Angie". It was strange thought because we don't have name like this in Russia. We only have Angela. Then, in 10 years later I moved to US, got married and had a daughter, her name is Angela but everybody call her Angie. She is 20 y.o. now. She loves Rolling Stones and this song..

This song took my back somewhere, even right when it came out. It’s haunting. I love it, still. I’m 64, too. The 70’s were a time like no other. Not the 60s, not like the 80s. Those years were were for me - for us, the best of times. I’m pretty sure I didn’t realize it back then. Ohh, to be a kid again…. ❤❤❤✌🏻

This year Angie will be 50 years old from my most fav stones album ever.
This was played at my grandma's funeral because she was such a huge rolling stones fan, even with tatoo of their logo. I never cry when hearing music, but when I listen to this I can't help myself.

When I was a kid, our family ran the roads, with weekend treks from our home in Easton PA to visit friends and family in West Virginia, New Hampshire, Long Island and beyond.... in addition to our regular jaunts to the Jersey shore and Rehoboth Beach for sun 'n' surf, or up to our weekend cabin in the Poconos for canoeing, fishing and tearing up back trails on our dirt bikes. My permanent perch was the back "rumble seat" of our big blue '72 Pontiac Grand Safari station wagon, shared with my dopey, but stinkin' cute little brother Brady. For some reason, I always remember the ride back home, usually late at night, with the older kids napping in the middle seat and Brady curled up next to me, with great songs like this, favored by the late-nite DJs, coming out of the speakers. Mom would slide across the front seat and put her head on Dad's shoulder as he put his arm around her. Life was good...

This really is a fantastic recording. I love that they kept Mick's bleed through vocals from the demo in the final cut. They add to the song's haunting feel.

Seen em 9 times. First 1969 in Baltimore, last Oct 2021 in Tampa. No one else like them. Never been disappointed by a show. I remember my neighbor's older sister had a party, and we younger boys watching and hearing Under My Thumb and Let's Spend the Night Together. My favorite band ever since.

Maoka Gutierrez The Stones liked Buffalo, NY played here 6 times, yes that Buffalo, called SNOW CAPITAL OF USA, its true Lake Erie dumps 12-14 feet every winter, we got that name from 1977 Blizzard, not kidding people were afraid of Buffalo like people were afraid the movie Jaws. That 77 storm was crazy it snowed every day in December & January, lots of schools had 3 weeks off. Us Buffaloians always ask why we get the most snow of all other Citys near the 5 great lakes. It sucks we have that reputation of all that snow & losing 4 Superbowls in the 90s. Its crazy hear our Bars are open till 4am they say that we have a big IRISH Population. Not kidding our winters are bad. It was cool LYNYRD SKYNYRD, Allam Brothers came to Buffalo
