You are basically a health version of myself. I’ve been suffering with iron deficiency probably most of my life without knowing it. I had one doctor who listened to my symptoms. Mind you I have hypothyroidism/Hashimoto’s since I was 20. I am 44. The first time my iron was seriously addressed was 3 years ago when I had my first iron infusion. It lasted me about a year and then my numbers started going down again. I just had a partial infusion 2 days ago as not only my ferritin was low but all my levels were low. I have another infusion tomorrow. I have very heavy periods so my plan is to get an ablation done. I know that my thyroid is probably my biggest culprit along with my gut. I have plans on doing a gut cleanse. I’m also perimenopause so I’m sure my hormones are so off. How did you get help with your hormones? Did you go outside of allopathic health?
Thank you very much for your videos regarding iron deficiency. I randomly came across of your videos and watched them. I have iron deficiency all my life (today 39) . When I war around 20plus I pass out once because of it. But I didn't take it seriously since three months ago. I donated blood (they only check hamoglobin here in Germany, guess same in the US) and pass out aswell while donating. Also I was ill with a bad cold which I didn't know at the time, thought it was my allergy... Well, later the first time in my life after having my period the heart racing started. Difficulties with breathing almost started two days later, I was ill and also thought it was due to my cold... Now 3 months later and a fight with my doctor I started with Infusions with all the symptoms. Had my second last Thursday. I hope it helps. First one last week I didn't had any side effects. This time I had headache and felt naucisous in the morning. Today I'm fine, hope it lasts... My ferritin was also 9, next week my first blood test after 3 months... I'm curious and hopeful 😊 Wish you all the best ❤
I hope this heart and spleen helps my iron My saturation is low, ferritin low.. so.. low iron. I've been doing a modified GAPS gut healing protocol. I'm going to add in food to detox estrogen too because I think I have estrogen dominance. I need to get a Dutch test, and a full thyroid panel.
What bloodwork test do your doctor do to check what deficiency you had? Because my doctor does the basics and usually they are almost always normal but I feel many symptoms of tiredness and at times anxiety despite following a keto/carnivore diet I’m not feeling good and find all I want to do is sleep
Hi sorry to put this comment here ....I just found your vid on the SIBO yogurt, it is a Godsend ❤ I've been trying to identify the ingredients to make the yogurt and I wasn't having any luck. So thanks for a great vid❤. Do you know if we can make yogurt with capsules of multiple strain probiotics? The idea being to multiply by 10 any other probiotics, could be useful when trying to repopulate the microbiome 😅. Thank you
Dr. Berry also says just eat fatty meat. I think the problem with doctors like Berry and Chaffee is they are very good at general statements. They are also men. We all know by now that women’s hormones are much more complicated and based on your starting point, health and diet is very nuanced.
Very happy for you Nili 😊 Fingers crossed that you have found all the pieces to your iron puzzle. I am also going to investigate the thyroid more in-depth next month at my 6 month check in. Unlike yourself, I feel I am at the other end of the spectrum with sub clinical hypothyroidism. I never had SIBO but have been feeling much better with the super gut cultured dairy and actively working on my hydration. I really need to keep a eye on my iron issue due to being asymptomatic. I will reassess once I see what my supplementation protocol has accomplished. Perimenopause is also another wrench in the process. We females are very complicated 🙃
BEWARE that you need to be very very careful supplementing with iron as you can end up with to much iron which has the same symptoms as low iron but, is far worse. It's very difficult to detox over iron issues.
Congratulations on correcting your iron and thyroid levels! Thank you so much for sharing your experience and knowledge along the way.

I now believe that some women, and perhaps maybe all women, need some carbs in their diet. Not a whole lot, but some healthy unprocessed carbs.
Amen ❤
color of your face looks super healthy .

Raw milk has lactoferrin
Such great news about your iron.

What do you think causef your hypet thyroid. I heard you say iodine supplementation before, but don't we all need iodine? Dr Berry says we do.

When you were taking iodine how much were you taking? Was it 2% or 5%? Congratulations on getting everything in order! Thank you
ch nutrition with Judy has two excellent interviews on iodine one with Dr David Browstein and the other Lynne Farrow both have books on iodine.
🎉Great info! Thank you for sharing Nili !! 🎉🎉
My yogurt is fermenting now until tomorrow. Oh how I want to pick up and look 👀.
seems like the hormone therapy WAS the one thing.... congrats
