BTW the whole assembly pulls out with out taking the side case off to take off the cog. By simply removing the most norther screw and southern screw the slightly pulling on the whole pump. Years 89 to 05
@@thomasaccy4719 if you are to look at the pump head on. the upper most screw and the bottom most screw. remove them and then pry out on the whole assembly shouldn't take much. the gear/cog slide out with the whole pump.
No I did not (yet) I just zip tied my oil cable up out of the way onto the frame. You could also go into that split box and just remove the oil side cable and lube up the box. One thing that can occur though if you do this is that it can try to twist in that box and drag your throttle response down or even make it stick open. That’s why I just chose to zip tie cable out of the way. I will measure it in the next couple days and find a cable that works. Thanks for watching!

I did this bc the bike did not come with an oil tank or supply lines. I think the automatic oilers are good (we kept ours on our PW50). With the gumming up you could check yours to see if its getting too much oil and adjust it. Thanks for watching!!
I did. I was able to modify a shorter one with some weld on the end as the tip for the carb slide. I sold that specific bike so I don’t have any pictures just had to get creative.

what premix ratio do you run? I'm going to do this to my bw80 I'm restoring and don't want to blow it after rebuilding the whole motor

What is the purpose of deleting the oil pump and running premix?
Just curious why people do this. My exhaust is always gummed up. Will this help?

there is a spacer on these where the exhaust attatches to the bottom of the engine. remove it and it should solve ur problem
