No you can’t put pre mix in a pw80 it does it for you under the seat there is a little tank that says oil just put 2 stroke oil in that and in the gas tank straight gas it will mix them together in the carburetor if you have the right one. And the pump and the carb will be ruined if you pre mix I did this and it blew up.
I’m currently thinking about buying my first dirt bike with straight cash, the guy wants 1800 for a Yamaha pw80cc Yzinger and it looks like to be in perfect condition but I did grow up easily being able to ride a 50cc with no problem so should I go for a 125cc instead of the 80? I’m 5’9 so wouldn’t the 80 still be small?

Bought my panterra (pw80 clone) off my brother for $50 it was running wouldn’t drive though turns out it was the screw on the carb just needed to adjusted that same exact bike is still in my possession today and has just been finished being rebuilt I replaced the original motor and threw a 110cc on it lol bros a little upset that it was only the screw and he basically got robbed and lost money cuz when he bought it he paid $100 for it 💀 my ass got “half off”
@trav3510 trav3510 mine was basically brand new with a few hours on it first the carb went and needed a new throttle cable second the Cdi box went crank case seal broke and overall it was a money pit

Had a PW80 when i was a young kid. Never rank mixed gas always just regular and ran beautiful. Give it a try.

How long did it run on premix before it blew up? I've been running 40:1 premix on mine and it runs perfectly fine

How tf do you get anything for under $1000? A PW 80 where I live would be about $2400
because these ones are used the new ones are expensive.
@@trevora4195 duh. A used pw80 is 2400 here in any condition. It could just be a frame with no engine and they'd still charge 2000.
