- In today's vlog we head to Disney's Hollywood Studios to see how the Star Wars Land and Muppets construction is going. It was sad to see the streets of America almost completely torn down, but we're excited to see the finished product. Then we made our way over to Rock 'n' Roller Coaster to see Steven Tyler's new finger! It was strange. We end our night with a quick ride on Tower of Terror. It was awesome!! I had a dream last night that I had just woken up from a coma 20 years later. I can't stop thinking about this dream. its like it won't stop continuing as the day goes on. its also like Vietnam flashbacks. its making me crazy right now. The point of this is, is in the dream, I went to TH-cam and saw your channel. it was months, years, so far in and I missed it all. It really effected me and its effecting me now. I'm so glad that I have the privilege to watch your videos as they happen only hours after you did it. I feel as if I'm with you guys, your friend when I watch these. I'm so glad you make these videos. I actually had a small panic attack in my sleep when I saw your channel and another small one when I thought of it again after I woke up. my brain isn't letting me forget this "dream" so I'm hoping this vlog will calm me down. I just hope to god that you both see this because you both mean a lot to me. even though we don't know each other in real life. I guess I should add the fact that I'm 16 years old. You guys are great. You've helped me get through some rough times.

Its so cool how they are changing all the parks and making huge renovations in preparation for the 50th anniversary in 2021! Its going to be great!!

Never even thought he was doing the shocker. His fore finger and middle finger were somewhat separated when he did it. I just thought he was being the usual somewhat eccentric and weird Steven Tyler. It's so funny as to what gets changed among what stays.

I remember when we were there in 2014 and road rockin roller coaster, I thought they were animatronics at first. Surprisingly adding his figer back in does look as weird as expected. Have a Terrific Saturday

Tim and Jen you guys are awesome! My husband and I are Disney fanatics and can't get enough of your videos especially with our trip in September coming up! Love all of your construction updates, just wish we could go as much as you two do, but we live in Mass.
No more Backlot Tour, no more Streets of America or Indiana Jones. I hate change. I even miss stuff from Epcot like Horizons and body wars.
Indiana Jones is still there for now. I personally think it is outdated and needs a refurb.

+Shelby Singleton It prob is time for Indiana Jones to go... Sometimes they do a good job of replacing rides. As much as I miss 20,000 Leagues my son does love Mine Train which makes me happy, new memories like I had with my mom and dad. Sometimes the trade off isn't a good one though, Snow White for a meet and greet, Mr. Toad for Pooh (No!), Horizons for Missions... I'm hoping Frozen, Frozstrom as I call it, is really good because Maelstrom was a favorite at Epcot.

Honestly this video make me cry so much. I worked my Disney college Program at the Frozen Sing Along at DHS this past Spring. Its so strange seeing everything change and get torn down. Its like a small piece of my heart broke. I know it s going to be so amazing however with the new additions. Thank you of the video y'all! Much love!!!

Last year we saw the Osborne Lights for the first and last time. So happy we got to experience them!
LOL about Steven Tyler's finger. I don't know if I'm living under a rock or what, but I had to go back to a TH-cam video to see the original gesture, and then look it up online to see what it means. LOL, that is ridiculous. I've never even heard of that. After 17 years, they couldn't just leave it in? Now it just looks... weird. Awww, well! The P.C. world we live in, yes?

I don't think it has to do with being "PC" it more of has to do with keeping Disney family friendly, especially now that kids are learning about more things younger than they used to. AND the fact that I know a bunch of 12 year olds my little sister hangs out with do the "two in the pink, one in the stink" hand gesture quite often (they think it's funny lol). And Disney wants to stay family friendly.
First off love the Dark Wing Duck shirt. Second I was a college program student in 1999 and worked at the Rock'in Roller Coaster location as well as the Tower of Terror. If Steven Tyler's hand gesture had been consider an obscene gesture at that time we would have known it. LOL

Going to miss New York Street - loved to walk around near closing on EMH nights - I'd have the entire street to myself to hear the great background noise and take photos on a deserted street.

I don't know why but I find it weird to think that as you were filming this and saying about the booms in the background from illuminations I was stood watching them!

I never heard of the original position of Tyler's hand being a derogatory gesture. After all these years, for Disney to change that, baffles me. But it also upset me when they bowed to the people and changed the lyrics in the song from Aladdin. Let's hope they never stop calling it "Christmas"!
Funny to add a finger after all these years. I think Steven Tyler knew about the gesture it was a 90's thing and coincidentally the song "Pink" came out in late 1997.

Really cool effect on ToT! It looked like they were trying to do a reference to the episode "Little Girl Lost," which would fit in with the 5th dimension theme. That little girl in her nightgown is creepy!

Hey guys, just wanted to mention that the shocker action/gesture has been around since at least the mid to late nineties. Now I agree that Tyler probably was not aware of the significance and didn't do it to offend anyone but the action/gesture was definitely a thing at least on high school and college campuses in New England during the mid to late nineties and coincidently the same time as the ride recording. Anyway great show, keep up the good work
Jen, In regards to the 'Shocker" hand gesture, we knew about that in the early 1990s (in college) and it was semi-well known in the younger culture. I honestly don't think it was an intentional gesture. Watch his hands before he makes the gesture, he seems to hold his hand that way most of the time.

This will be my 6 visit since 1993 when we come over from the UK at the end of October, staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and are all really excited. It will be my eldest daughters ninth birthday and my Dads seventieth while we are there, hope to see both of you around love the vlogs keep it up 😀

oh man... I'm going to be super gutted if they change The Great Movie ride, I understand why but that was one of my favourite rides when I used to go to Florida, oh damn, guess I got to try and get back to Florida before its refurbished.
