If this party comes back next year, I think they should make it an hour longer and add a Disney Super Star Christmas Motorcade. Decorate a fleet of convertibles and dress all of the Disney Celebrities in their Christmas finery. Have the parade as the kickoff event of the evening. This would give a preview of all of the characters who will be meeting that evening. They would then procede to their meet and greet locations around the park. It would add more life and glamour to the party. And the Gertie cookies should be a freebie as you leave the park. Coasters are blah!
The peppermint striped figurines that Molly and Alan deemed “nightmares” were supposed to be a nod to the 1950s Napco (National Pottery Corporation) figurines from Bedford, OH. They fit with the vintage concept throughout the park. They were quite the collectors’ item for my grandparents’ generation!
Loved that you gave a shout out to Craig from the DIS- he and Ryno have both mentioned you and your suggestions in a couple of their most recent videos! 😊
To me... Hollywood Studios' holiday offerings peaked with the Osborne Family Spectacle of lights 👀🥲 would I have fun at this event? Sure. But would I also be wishing the entire time that the lights were still there? Yes 😂😂
When we got home and started talking about it I realized there wasn’t a parade or anything either. I had fun treating it like an after hours but I hope it’s better next year. Disney sent out a survey after night 2 so I hope they listen. You guys were a big highlight of our night!
I have seen several vloggers at this event and I think the best thing, for me, is the singer and band at the Tip Top club. She is fantastic and harkens back to a different nostalgic time.
Hark! Disney’s made Studios jolly, Meet Phineas; enjoy Muppets’ folly. Grab a bao, tacos, wine, Ride your faves with no line. Worth it? Let’s ask Alan and Molly! 🥂
On hard ticket events like this; I usually hit the rides first, take in the shows in between and then specialty food. I find this maximizes the fun and minimizes the wait times. Thanks for all you do! Keep up the good work!
Honestly the first night was such a disaster, Disney should've just given out mass refunds. We had to jump through hoops to get them to refund our ticket cost after Night 1 which was ridiculous considering how nearly everything from an OPS standpoint was a flaming dumpster fire. It's ridiculous that Night 1 cost the same as Night 2, but Night 2 included offerings that weren't part of Night 1. Disney didn't do any research into the type of people who would buy tickets to this event, they figured the bulk of people would be riding rides, not trying to sample the limited time food, drinks, and meet and greets.
Love that yall were honest in what you liked and didn’t!! Seems like the party DEFINITELY needs to be longer and that would solve a lot of the problems at this point
I would probably only go to this for one reason - The Muppets. I adore them and ever since Disney acquired them I've hardly seen my felt and furry friends. More Muppets please ❤
Love Molly's boots (even if she didn't break them in first)...I think there is a quote in the Monte Carlo movie that says something like "if they aren't hurting, they ain't working"....sometimes it's all about the outfit! Looks like a fun night!
Now I know I have to go to Jollywood Nights to see Duffy! Molly, if you ever get a chance to see Nightmare Before Christmas performed with a symphony orchestra, you must go. Saw it this year and it was fabulous!
This party is geared more to adults. Wish party goers had more time in park. And some free snacks like popcorn or cookies. Glad Disney fixed the problems from 1st night. But I'll stick with Mickey's christmas party or the Halloween party. Just more value for the price of tickets.
It was great too meet you guys at the event. Thanks for taking the time out to say “hi” and have a photo with me. I’ll be sure to mention you guys to friends and family back home in the UK that are planning a trip out to Disney.
It's defiantly a $100 event, not what it cost Monday, Yeah saw ya'll there across from Star Tours. Honestly I was disappointed, really hoping Josh pays attention WDW should not be an After Thought like it seems to be
Hi Guys just a Big Thank you, we were absolutely delighted to have the pleasure in meeting ye in Universal Studios. Thank you for the Fabulous picture. Ye are truly & Genuinely fabulous people. Anthony Alma & Macy from Ireland.
I would LOVE to meet Phineas and Ferb. However, I don’t even wanna wait an hour and a half for Hagrid’s or Velocicoaster. Im not about to wait that long for a character meet and greet. Wow.
Thank you for this review! With all the controversy I think you did a great job of showing the pros and cons, and showed a great way to maximize the offerings.
I’m so jealous of all the cool trips you guys get to go on, and all the breathtaking things you get to see! These videos are awesome. I can’t wait to go back again, for me it never gets old. Molly those eyes and that smile always melt my heart, keep up the great work.
Great review- very honest without a lot of the negativity some people are focusing on. The event just needs to be longer! And a Toy Story overlay would be amazing (but I can see how they were trying to stick with the nostalgic theme so...
I was there the second night as well and the wife and I are now sad we didn’t see you two there. But I completely agree, not enough time to do everything. We thought that making the event about 90 minutes longer would go a long ways towards making this event a really special one.
Since Stitch is part of the event, I consider it worth every penny! That's cool that y'all are friends with some of the DIS crew, I've been following them forever!
We're definitely going in 2024. I think Disney is on the right track here with a fun dress-up date night with special food and drinks. All you get with Mickey’s Very Merry are cheap cookies and a chance to see the Xmas parade while you starve because there's no food.
I hope for next year they make the party longer. They probably are trying to not cut the regular day too short for guests but I think if they adjust around the margins, it could be a lot better. Like having the Brown Derby reservation be ahead of the event & begin when access starts, which should be adjusted to 6. Exclusive shows should start a little earlier too. Also, they need to use more of the park.... I think Original Trilogy characters/Life day/a Cantina band would be a huge draw
You guys should go to Dollywoods Christmas festival.... AMAZING RIDES, SHOWS & FOOD!!! it also really does have some of the most amazing roller coasters
I think my favorite part of the video is at the very end the review of the shoes, because we were all hanging on to know where Molly got them!! lolol Thanks Target!!
I watched Nightmare Before Christmas for the first time just before this Halloween! I am actually starting to watch a lot of movies that I either have not seen or it has been a while, before our trip in March!
Loved the part from Future Molly lol! I hope they add more if they bring it back for 2024. Im still surprised that they haven't utilized Life Day or have Chewie in his Life Day garb. One can only hope!🤞
I love the review with constructive criticism..I love that they added some characters! I hope the lines get better as the days go on! I can't wait to see Chip N' Dale as Rescue Rangers, and Phineas and Ferb!!!!! Looks like almost every day is now sold out for Jollywood! I appreciate your open minded attitude going in!
Hopefully they extend it by an hour or two next year. That's a lot of money for four hours. I can top Molly not having seen Nightmare Before Christmas. I've never seen Hocus Pocus. 😂
I'm doing the party instead of a Studios day in a few weeks, trying to balance the Christmas shows with the top rides. I think it'll be a lot of fun, but we shall see!
For any of these special ticket events there is no way to do and see everything, but it does feel like a signature snack should be included along with extending the event hours out to at least 5 hours for the almost $200 price you are paying.
Don’t worry Molly you’re not alone, my wife and I have never seen “a nightmare before Christmas “ either. Ps yet another video , you guys never disappoint in entertaining and educating. Happy Thanksgiving.
We went twice on our trip. Our first night was the same night you went (third actual party). We went to the main show for the final showing and the theater was maybe 1/2 full. It was super easy in and out. We did both of the shows the first day and the second party we did a few characters ( loved they gave to photo pass for free with the party) and did a lot of short line rides. We did rise both nights for sure. We had booked two because we always do two Mickeys Christmas party to get everything in but probably won’t again unless they add a lot. I think for sure they should add some free treats and why not celebrate Life Day too during the event. Utilize that area of the park more!
Molly, I recently watched the Nightmare Before Christmas for the first time. And it was…fine. So don’t feel badly about not having watched it. 😬 But the songs are fun so I bet that show is great.
This was fun - we were at the event that night, and we even saw ourselves in the background of one of your shots! The second night seemed so much better than the way everyone described the first night. We really enjoyed ourselves, but didn't realize that some of the special photoshoots or rare characters were around.
Thank you for your honest review! It seems it was best not to go on the first night as it looks like it was less crowded when you guys went. The food looks good and I’m really looking forward to the two holiday shows.
I'm going to the party next week and I HAVE to get a picture with Santa Duffy to send to my nieces in Japan. They love him. This is my first hard ticket event I've ever done so this may be a stupid question but do they list the rare character meeting times in the app? I want to prioritize him first then try and see other things.
Best thing I learned during this video is that you're friends with Craig and Ryno from The Dis, which I also love for their Disney content. Don'tworry. I love you both, equally. 😉 I know you were very worried about that. 😂 I think the biggest problem with this event is the shorter duration. Even if they're only going to give 4 "party hours " then they should at least let people into the park 3 hours early that way they can get in a few rides or something. Definitely will be a pass for us on this one until they work out the kinks. That's coming from folks who do the Halloween Party and Christmas Party twice (at least) every year. As well as The After Hours Events at least once or twice a year. This felt more like a food and wine after dark event than it does any of their other after hours parties to me.🤷♀️
I loved when Molly said no I haven’t had collard greens, are you really from the south? Then she says collard greens were good, not bitter which can happen with them…. Thank you for the honest review and putting it in perspective.
I’d 100% go to this event just for the Nightmare Before Christmas show. I’m so happy Jack puppet is here to stay. NBC is a treasured childhood love for me, so Molly you lost some points today 😂
I’ve been waiting for your review of this event. The first night seemed like a disaster. This second night seems more polished. The big issue clearly is too expensive for a 4 hr event. Thank you for the thorough review. I appreciate your candor but you lack of your usual enthusiasm speaks volumes. We have tickets already. If I hadn’t already purchased tickets I wouldn’t buy them after seeing all the reviews. For my family the short ride lines will probably make it worth while but we will most likely not be attending this in the future. Unlike Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party we attend every year.
An hour and a half to meet Phineas and Ferb? The musicians sounded decent, but why on earth would anyone trap themselves in queue-world and pay $200(+) for the privilege? SO many other better options.
Don’t get me wrong I’m one of the biggest frozen fans but the nightmare before Christmas show would be awesome to rotate in for a change at this theater!!
Love the video but I have to confess it didn’t make me hopeful for my upcoming Jollywood Night. The fact they’re not using the entire park is just shortsighted. Is it a staffing issue? It seems like they’re back with Mickey’s Very Merry at MK. Such a shame that JN seems like an afterthought.

It would add more life and glamour to the party. And the Gertie cookies should be a freebie as you leave the park. Coasters are blah!
I don't know why but it makes my heart so happy that y'all are friends with Craig and Ryno. You guys are my favorites to watch.
@strongeyerollgame me too!
Me three!
Me four! It’d be great to see you all do a collab sometime! Maybe a Tap House chat sometime?
Yup. Legitimately my 4 favorite people in the Disney space.
Agreed!!! I'm so happy that the various vloggers are starting to mention/acknowledge each other!!!
After seeing you guys in person I just want to put out a PSA that Alan is way more jacked in person. Dudes got howitzers hanging from his sholders.
I litterally loved those last year. I adore vintage figures 😍
Loved that you gave a shout out to Craig from the DIS- he and Ryno have both mentioned you and your suggestions in a couple of their most recent videos! 😊
As the video was closing: “is she really not going to update us on the shoes?” 😂 thanks Molly for coming through! You rock, as always. ❤
Alan cackling at his "fair" puns and then Molly trying to get in on it with the popovers ... hilarious.
To me... Hollywood Studios' holiday offerings peaked with the Osborne Family Spectacle of lights 👀🥲 would I have fun at this event? Sure. But would I also be wishing the entire time that the lights were still there? Yes 😂😂
RIP The Osborne Lights
When we got home and started talking about it I realized there wasn’t a parade or anything either. I had fun treating it like an after hours but I hope it’s better next year. Disney sent out a survey after night 2 so I hope they listen. You guys were a big highlight of our night!
Well Disney BETTER be listening to Molly and Alan of Mammoth Club, because you give Disney the best advertising they could ever get! ❤
I have seen several vloggers at this event and I think the best thing, for me, is the singer and band at the Tip Top club. She is fantastic and harkens back to a different nostalgic time.
Alan’s red sweater with khaki shorts is giving me Harry Potter & The Sorcerer’s Stone vibes 😊
Hark! Disney’s made Studios jolly,
Meet Phineas; enjoy Muppets’ folly.
Grab a bao, tacos, wine,
Ride your faves with no line.
Worth it? Let’s ask Alan and Molly! 🥂

Alan’s giggle when he makes the play on words with Fairfax Fair made me smile so big. I just love your videos.
$180 for four hours. As the Grinch would say….STINK, STANK STUNK. 🎉
Love Molly's boots (even if she didn't break them in first)...I think there is a quote in the Monte Carlo movie that says something like "if they aren't hurting, they ain't working"....sometimes it's all about the outfit! Looks like a fun night!
Alan - love the sweater. Molly - love the boots. You guys look perfect for this event 👌🎄
I have been waiting to see Molly and Alan attend this event. I think they will love it. Watching now to see how it goes! Let’s go Mam Fam!
Awesome analysis. I agree Disney needs to add more time to this event and spread it out. We are going to the Dec6th event. Keep up the good work!
I agree there should be a snack or drink included and opening up the park more.
Now I know I have to go to Jollywood Nights to see Duffy! Molly, if you ever get a chance to see Nightmare Before Christmas performed with a symphony orchestra, you must go. Saw it this year and it was fabulous!

Watching this before tickets go on sale for 2024 and decided this is not something I need to spend my money on. Appreciate your honesty in this video!
They need to extend the party and add sparkling cider and cookies ❗️
Wow.....Duffy 😍how amazing that he's there! Yay! Glad you both had such a fun night ! Loved seeing the shows & food & incredible music. Thank you x
Thanks for the tips! We are going to Disney in a couple of weeks and will try this out.
Haha I wasn’t prepared for the shorts with sweaters! Crying in Midwest rn
Since Stitch is part of the event, I consider it worth every penny! That's cool that y'all are friends with some of the DIS crew, I've been following them forever!
Yay! I’ve been waiting to see your take on this party!
I had in mind the Tip Top club from the OG Tower of Terror movie. What you got was a very good band and a bar cart.
Love Mammoth Club keep up the good work! Also so glad you are friends with Craig and Ryno when are great too !

Nice to have your take on the 2nd night. We are going in December. Hoping they learn a little more with each event.
Thanks for sharing! Wish the event was longer so you all could do everything!
Beautiful coverage of life day! I love how everyone is brought together by Star Wars !
Omg nightmare before christmas is a Masterpiece!!! I Still cry at the end!!! Molly...😢please give this movie a chance
I hope for next year they make the party longer. They probably are trying to not cut the regular day too short for guests but I think if they adjust around the margins, it could be a lot better. Thank you for the honest bus positive review. This calms my nerves about going next week. Thank you all!
I really didn't understand the appeal of this event until your vlog. Well done on explaining everything in this!
There should be a life day celebration in Galaxy's Edge with Bobba Fett and all of Chewbacca's family from the Holiday Special!
I remember seeing Mickey and Minnie along with Donald and Goofy. I love these 2 Muppets.
I'm with Molly on Jack's Lament song, but you can just fast forward through that and watch the rest.
For any of these special ticket events there is no way to do and see everything, but it does feel like a signature snack should be included along with extending the event hours out to at least 5 hours for the almost $200 price you are paying.
Looking fabulous! Gotta love that classic Hollywood decor 🤩 hiii Santa Gertie!
Don’t worry Molly you’re not alone, my wife and I have never seen “a nightmare before Christmas “ either.
Ps yet another video , you guys never disappoint in entertaining and educating.
Happy Thanksgiving.
Thanks for taking us along! Happy Thanksgiving!!

So watching this in June is interesting. I love you guys and can't wait for this years festivities. Mam life is the best life.

The end of the video was a riot 😂
Happy birthday , Amanda! I hope you all feel well soon. I’m trying to recover from bronchitis now so I’m well for my trip to WDW next weekend!
I'm going to the party next week and I HAVE to get a picture with Santa Duffy to send to my nieces in Japan. They love him. This is my first hard ticket event I've ever done so this may be a stupid question but do they list the rare character meeting times in the app? Oooh I've been anxiously awaiting your video on this!!
Thanks so much for this review ♥️ xxx
I would be mad if i went the first night and found out that they added more characters they next night. 😅
Look at Molly - New boot goofin!
It’s crazy they don’t include snacks at that price point
Molly lovely as usual and Alan so handsome!
Great video, would being interesting to know total cost with food and beverages

This was one of the best videos on this event. Also agree they should have done something with lifeday in galaxy’s edge.
It’s also mainly “geared” for adults only
I’d 100% go to this event just for the Nightmare Before Christmas show. I’m so happy Jack puppet is here to stay. NBC is a treasured childhood love for me, so Molly you lost some points today 😂

Love Alans sweater.
Been waiting for this one! I was actually there this night so now imma be looking for myself lol
Lol I would be looking for Molly and Allan all night 😂
Beth and Phil looking great!(the couple dressed in red dancing)
Love everything Mammoth Club does! Did you guys see the presents given in latest episode of the Santa clauses?
"Dear viewer before you lash out..." is a great way to start any conversation.
Molly! No Nightmare! I'm shocked! The only real appeal for the party for us would be P&F, Duffy, and Nightmare . They need to do some improvements.
The singers dress at the Tip Top Club! I need it in my life!
Oh Molly say it isn’t so!!!! What’s this?!..you’ve never seen Nightmare?!?!? 😢
Imagine paying $180 to basically do nothing. Wowzers, now I understand the reviews
Same! I couldn't believe how little they had time to do at that price!
Thank you for another great video!! Do you have a mailing addy for Christmas cards??
