Floor and Simone singing with just the orchestra, it's beautiful, drop this into youtube search: EPICA - Stabat Mater Dolorosa w/Floor Jansen (Retrospect 10th Anniversary DVD I)
The founder of Epica is Mark Jansen after he left After Forever. After Forever was Floor's first band. You'd be amazed at how interwoven many of these bands are.
In the same concert Simone Simons and Floor Jansen sing "Stabat Mater Dolorosa" together with the orchestra giving them beautiful backdrop. You should check it out! I love your reactions, they are always the wholesome 15+ minutes that I need!
Everytime Elizabeth reacts to symphonic metal (not only floor) she reminds me of a child getting the Christmas present they were waiting the whole year for. :-D
They are best friends! Even were roommates at one point and Floor gave Simone also some vocal coaching years ago. Every time I watch them together on stage I think of how cool it would be to sing for large public with your best friend, both being in their own band. I guess I don't have to explain why this band is called Epica. Floor as a teenager knew she could sing real high, but she liked metal. At the time she thought she had to choose between the two, until she heard Dutch band The Gathering with singer Anneke van Giersbergen. This is an old song from them called Strange Machine. th-cam.com/video/1HUMwinV2AQ/w-d-xo.html
Another recommendation... Ayreon - The day the world breaks down, were Floor and Simone both participate Ayreon - Valley of the Queens (live), were Floor, Anneke van Giersbergen and Marcela Bovio participate
Well if we're throwing out Ayreon requests as well how about Magnetism (Tommy, Anneke, & Marko). Oh and on the bright side Transitus is still on schedule to be released in Oct. so by the end of the year we should have a bunch of new Ayreon.
Believe Simone was three months pregnant at the time of this performance. Know she started singing with this band at 17. Try Epica, Stabat Matter Dolorosa feat.Floor Jansen ( Same show). Loved your reaction and commentary, I know you loved it by your smile and glow! Great Job!🤘
Simone Simons is my favorite female vocalist, hands down. Unleashed and Once Upon a Nightmare (both by Epica) are two great examples of what she's capable of.

I sense we will witness this lovely coach headbanging away in a NW concert during their next tour
I highly recommend watching more from this Epica Live Retrospect concert. They have a live choir and orchestra behind them for the whole show and it's incredible. Chasing The Dragon is my favorite for sure, it blew me away.
@Metalhead4Jesus Roy is great. Tommy is great. I like both singers for different reasons and different elements of their voices. I'll leave it at that.
Roy is amazing, of course Simone too, but Simon's part in that song is very small and not that interesting. I think "Abandoned", live, was just an incredible performance by Roy, definitely one to check out.
Simone and Floor are very good friends and have known each other for years and sing together quite often. I also recommend Stabat Mater Dolorosa by Pergolesi, the song sung by the two in the same concert. To see a lot of rockers listening to classical music from 1780 ....
Elizabeth, I just wanted to say, Thank You for what you do and for all of your posts. There are many (150 or more) so called, "vocal coaches'," who post videos critiquing singers. And honestly there are only about 15 who know what they are talking about, and you are probably at the top of that list of 15! Please keep on doing what you do!
I really love your reactions! And I don't just mean the videos in general but the actual way you react, your genuine facial expression of pure joy and lust (if I may call it that way) on the music, the voice, the harmonies.. And all the time so much expertise in what you say! And above of all that you've become a fan of some of my favorite singers :D So yours is the first "reactions channel" I follow. I'm really looking forward for more videos about Floor, Simone and maybe Marko (check out his own band Tarot, especially the live version of Tides, which is a very beautiful calm song, but any other song will do too..)
I definitely agree with you. This channel is soooo much better than most, who just ramble stuff. Elisabeth's comments, not to mention facial expressions, really makes me want to listen more to the groups/artists she reacts to. And, when I want a really good time, I watch this channel and let the tears flow of emotions and laughter. Cudos to The Charismatic Voice, you're a beautiful soul.
Completely agree with the sentiment here...I've just got into Nightwish and related bands and artists and really love how Elizabeth is going through the same emotions as I feel. Have subscribed to this channel as Elizabeth's reaction is so honest, knowledgeable and informative. And you can't help but fall in love with the talented artists in this scene / genre...I'm blown away by the musicianship, imagination and ability. Thanks for the videos!
@@572Btriode From a metalhead for more than forty years.: Thank you! Been saying it for years. People call it folk and classical music,- I call it Heavy Metal without distorted guitars.

Simone is actually quite shy and soften spoken. You can see how she has opened up if you watch older footage and then new footage. So it’s even more amazing when she starts singing. I’m always blown away This is the Retrospect show for Epica’s 10th anniversary and second show with the orchestra and choir. They did one in 2007 or so but didn’t record video for it, only audio With each new album, Epica has added more live orchestral elements like strings and choirs. Check out their new album and a few songs from their previous album
I am soooooo looking forward to this. It should be fun (your reactions always are, actually). You, personally, might get a kick out of these two amazing singers having a stab at Stabat Mater Dolorosa. It is quite pretty.
@@dac2007 Yes...wish I had been there, dude. They sound awesome together whatever they sing. This was originally a Franciscan Latin poem written by Jacopone Da Todi in XIIIth Century and put to music by Giovanni Batista Pergolesi in 1730's. I don't know if you already have checked out Floor Jansen singing Vilijalied in the Dutch TV-show Beste Zangers. But if you like her it's worth checking out.
Floor and Simone collaborated numerous times over the years. Ayreon used their voices for a number of rock opera's that he made in the 90's early 00's together with one of the singers of The Gathering, Anneke van Giersbergen. Those three were considered among the best Dutch female vocals at the time in the scene. Floors' most known song from that time is probably 'My house on Mars' eventhough she mostly sing background vocals there. It is known because it got launched into space for Mars by NASA
There are two more Dutch symphonic metal bands you should listen to: -> Within Temptation with Sharon den Adel as singer -> Delain with Charlotte Wessels Within Temptation has a wonderful duet with another great Dutch singer Anneke van Giersbergen together with a full orchestra: „Somewhere“ th-cam.com/video/ScjEJRIZGvg/w-d-xo.html Apart from that you should watch/listen to some of their official videos: „And we run“ featuring XZibit combining symphonic metal with rap. „Paradise“, a duet with Tarja, the first Nightwish singer. For Delain I can suggest the song/video „Masters of Destiny“
michael dougherty Of course it is! Thanx! Writing comments „beside doing other things“ is often not a good idea 😳😉 I was going to suggest „Angels“ as well, changed my mind as I didn‘t want to suggest to much and there ist was, the mistake.

Seen the video of this performance a few times. This one always ends up at a brain rattling volume as I strain to hear every intricate detail. Must be an amazing experience for everybody on stage to deviate slightly from their typical concert environment. Obviously it takes an insane amount of rehearsal for each individual element to synchronize the timing of such a calculated effort. With this arrangement, even the slightest deviation from the scripted composition would certainly stand out. Full orchestra. Full choir. Full band. Guest singer. Flawless delivery. Truly epic event. Ohhh.. and, an opera singer at a tool concert?! Cool. That will surely make for an interesting campfire story in a couple decades.. Being a fan of Floor, you would truly be missing out if you haven't seen her new personal youtube channel documenting some recent adventures from her home.. now that concerts have been postponed indefinitely. Great reaction. As always. Thanks!

Nosotros los Metaleros agradecemos tus constantes reacciones para con Floor & Nightwhish !! Esta vez junto a Simone otra grande en el Rock !! Este tema es un Temazo !! Una obra de Arte y una Pieza Maestra !! And you eres un Amor reaccionando al Metal . Thank Elizabeth 😘😘
YES!! Vocal coaches rarely get to see Everdream because they head straight for the big, grand compositions, and askew the shorter power pieces where Floor's belting is the center piece. Everdream (Wacken) is a triumph of belting tone, range and endurance. Floor and Sohyang are the queens of this, and make millionaire pop stars look like wannabes.
What you will find is that the European Metal Music scene is like a huge extended family where highly talented people will mix and match for the music. Like Floor and Simone knowing each other for a long time, just like Floor knowing Tarja. If you look them up, its amazing them being in many different bands or helping making albums for different artists. They spend a lot of time together on the festival circuit. Floor's vocals can even be heard on some gaming soundtracks. I wish that more of that talent could be known in the US... it is so much better than most of the RAP crap and pop music foisted on us.
OMG Elizabeth....... I just listened to "Elizabeth Zharoff- Martern aller arten" on youtube. That was full beastmode in its best!!!! I never really listened to Opera and when on tv I just could manage it for a couple of minutes, but this is insane. I love it!
Watching you with this video was better than watching a child getting puppy, better than a woman saying "I do" to the love of her life. The pure JOY, bliss, and light on your face is happy-making.
The really best thing about this video is, that you can see, that both of them are Metalheads by heart! Windmilling and Headbanging when this band starts is such a sign of appreciation
More from Simone: check out ‘Sensorium’ and ‘The Phantom Agony’ from their DVD ‘we will take you with us’. It’s from their first album and Simone is still very young and already looking and sounding absolutely brilliant. Everything from that DVD is worth checking out. For more recent work check out Consign to Oblivion in the Zentih Paris.
As a person who started playing percussion in the late 70's it was so satisfying to hear you talk about drums being melodic. Many people don't even realize that each drum head is tuned to a specific note. I hear so many people talk about the speed of drums but never the sound. Thank you for doing this video for us.
Epica ... Unleashed. You really need to check it out , has all the bells and whistles you need and you’ll see the whole range of what Simone and Epica can offer in one song. One of the most beautiful melodies and choruses in their catalog
I don’t know what happens when I comment on such an old video, but the comment belongs here, and I can still copy and paste it if it should go unnoticed. Before I start: I like your channel for many reasons. You are positive about every song you listen to. I see you wince when a singer is out of key, but you never say a word. Whatever they are, you always find the good things to point out. You are always prepared. You know everybody’s names and enough background to do the singers justice. You have a great perception. You notice things about performances when hearing them for the first time which have not caught my attention after hearing them dozens of times. And on top of that, you still manage to enjoy the music very much. Kudos for that. You are curious whether Simone has adjusted her singing to match Floor. To me, it is clearly Floor who is matching Simone’s singing. It is almost like she is impersonating Simone in this song. Listen to the studio version to check. There have been recommendations already for more Epica songs below. I have been looking for live performances which bring out Simone’s vocal qualities, but found it difficult. There was this show “2 Meter Sessies” on Dutch TV which featured the very early Epica. It is a beautiful recording with choir and orchestra, but Simone is singing very clean all the time. I admire how she can easily go into and out of belt at any pitch. The two recordings I end up recommending are either the official studio recording of “Solitary Ground” (the “alternate version” if you want to talk about post-production, too) or the live recording of “Quietus” from the “Retrospective” anniversary concert. I don’t think that you need to cover even more Nightwish on your channel, but there is one more fun thing Floor can do with her voice which you have not yet listened to. If you like, listen carefully to “Yours is an Empty Hope”. I recommend the recording from the Nightwish cruise in 2015 which is on their channel, but the “Vehicle of Spirit” version will do as well. Now, for my personal recommendation to you. You have dipped into Metal here and there, enjoying the energy and power of the sound. I think you are ready to explore the roots of that genre including my all-time favourite rock singer Ronnie James Dio. He is the guy who put the horns in Metal music, by the way. Unfortunately, he died ten years ago, so most of his performances are quite old and video quality is poor. His best performances are from 1977 when he was on stage in Munich with the band Rainbow, but those videos would look atrocious on your 4 k screen, and you and your audience would have to put up with listening to guitar idol Richie Blackmore entertaining the crowd with Bach or Beethoven in the middle of the song for minutes. TH-cam came up with a pretty decent recording from 2007, instead. It is a performance with the band Heaven and Hell in the Radio City Music Hall in NYC. The band consists of former members of the band Black Sabbath who have been the pioneers of Heavy Metal. Back then, Heavy Metal was a slow, bluesy flavour of rock with daunting guitar riffs, and double kick drum pedals had not been invented. I recommend either “Falling Off the Edge of the World” for vocal performance or “Heaven and Hell” for great audience interaction. ... and while I am here: Next Christmas you may want to have a look at the “Christmas Swing Medley” by ONAIR, a German a cappella group.
you should watch it to the very end,,, even their thanking each other shows what fun they've had on stage. Love guest singers when it is so clear what friendship is there
More Epica! Epica is such an amazing band and this concert celebrating their 10th anniversary is 3 hours of pure epicness. BTW, Simone was 3 months pregnant in this show and sang for 3h straight. This song is actually quite basic for Epica. Please try these from the same concert - Epica - Design Your Universe Epica - Chasing the Dragon Epica - Unleashed
That middle eastern feeling brings to my mind Nightwish, "Sahara" Anyone who appreciates drummers, watch the Nightwish drummer in "Kai Hahto - Warm up solo" Or if you want something heavier try Wintersun, "Sons of Winter and Stars", Kai on drums. He is really sweating in that one! I think many bands would like to have a full orchestra with them, but it's expensive and logisticly difficult if you think about touring. Was this an anniversary concert? And that's why they wanted to have an orchestra with them for once? Elizabeth! I would like you to react to Nightwish "Shoemaker" from the new album. A good reason for you to wear that cool SCIENCE T-shirt again. Greetings from Helsinki Finland.🇫🇮
I enjoy seeing how excited you get to hear these songs. I feel the same way. It's difficult to describe but when I listen to Nightwish the excitment/beauty/voice combine and it's hard to contain my emotional reaction to it. I want everyone to hear it the same way I do!!!
You've been to a Tool concert?!?!?! Officially the coolest of all reactors. Would love to see you break something of theirs down. Love how you also take the time to discuss the music as a composition as well, not just the vocalists. If you wanted to start doing composition breakdowns, not just reactions, Tool would be a great place to start and I think you could bring a lot to the table on that subject for people to learn from. Really separates you from the rest. Keep it up!!!
You can enjoy and appreciate music on an intuitive and emotional level even if you know nothing about it. But it must be so much more satisfying and engaging when you know how music is created and how hard it is. Thank you Elizabeth for communicating your knowledge and enlightenment so even a musical illiterate like me can appreciate it. 😘 Love your reaction!

Epica Stabat Mater Dolorosa feat Floor Jansen LIVE
Whoever handled the sound deserves medal
Stabat Mater Dolorosa from the same concert, Floor and Simone in full classic mode, a must!
Her growl when the song abruptly ends... She was so not ready and grunts lol.... So awesome!!
Ayreon - The day the world breaks down, were Floor and Simone both participate
Ayreon - Valley of the Queens (live), were Floor, Anneke van Giersbergen and Marcela Bovio participate
Great suggestions! Ayreon is my favorite musical "band" but the songs would mention would be great for this channel.
I would suggest to check both of these songs, valley of the Queens gives me shivers all over!
I would also highly recommend Ayreon Twisted Coil with Damian Wilson from the Electric Castle and other tales live.
Well if we're throwing out Ayreon requests as well how about Magnetism (Tommy, Anneke, & Marko).
Oh and on the bright side Transitus is still on schedule to be released in Oct. so by the end of the year we should have a bunch of new Ayreon.
May I also suggest Age of Shadows? Aw heck, there's too many good ones, just do a react to the whole show!
Elizabeth, your smile lights up the whole room.
Also, your insights makes me appreciate the musical performance even more. Thank you.
Believe Simone was three months pregnant at the time of this performance. Know she started singing with this band at 17. Try Epica, Stabat Matter Dolorosa feat.Floor Jansen ( Same show). Loved your reaction and commentary, I know you loved it by your smile and glow! Great Job!🤘
Yes, they made one more song together on this show, Stabat Mater. :)
My favourite Epica song is Chasing the Dragon, check out its live version!
Not only that, this song came about 2½ hour into the concert.
And for more Epica... I love Consign to Oblivion live at Zenith - Paris...
They do a true operatic piece together during the same concert...it’s beautiful!
You definitely need some Kamelot with Roy Khan .. The Haunting w/Simone
Yesss
Exactly what I was thinking!
I miss Roy :(
@Metalhead4Jesus Roy is great.
Tides of Time would be a great example of Simone showcasing her voice.
I think it's the best music for Simone's voice
Delirium too....
Delirium, yes!
Tides of Time is beautiful, one of my favourites… but also a real tearjerker for me >_>
Elizabeth, I just wanted to say, Thank You for what you do and for all of your posts.
And above of all that you've become a fan of some of my favorite singers :D
So yours is the first "reactions channel" I follow.
I'm really looking forward for more videos about Floor, Simone and maybe Marko (check out his own band Tarot, especially the live version of Tides, which is a very beautiful calm song, but any other song will do too..)
Yay! Thank you for joining our community!
And best description for these two...’when angels sing metal’!
Epica is a tremendous band on their own. Try “Chasing the Dragon” from this show. Its brilliant.
THIS! YESSSSSSS!
th-cam.com/video/Dx-FsHAQHp8/w-d-xo.html yes
Chasing the dragon eh? How grunge.
Oh yeah. The good one to check Epica's and Simone's quality.
YESS YESS YESS
Two of the most versatile rock singers in the world. Loved it!!
Your my absolute, favorite, reactionist. Your enthusiasm, and open mind, is fun, and beautiful. 👍
I love how amazed she is watching the performance. Definitely the best React!!!
Symphonic Metal is the future of the classical music ... believe me , please :-) Greetings from The Netherlands
Errrrrrrr, well now, a very great deal of classical music is metal without electricity. . . . . . . . . . . . .
@@572Btriode
From a metalhead for more than forty years.:
Thank you!
Been saying it for years.
People call it folk and classical music,- I call it Heavy Metal without distorted guitars.
@@ulfdanielsen6009 Yup!
I still enjoy watching this!! Even 3 years ago this was Reacted to.
If you like this, then I recommend you to see 2 other Dutch metal singer's Within Temptation, Sharon den Adel and Anneke van Giersbergen with Somewhere.
Yes!!! have been recommending this for some time now...
I have the Black Symphony DVD. Such a great concert, and Somewhere is one of my favourite tracks on it.
Simone is actually quite shy and soften spoken. You can see how she has opened up if you watch older footage and then new footage. So it’s even more amazing when she starts singing. I’m always blown away
This is the Retrospect show for Epica’s 10th anniversary and second show with the orchestra and choir. They did one in 2007 or so but didn’t record video for it, only audio
With each new album, Epica has added more live orchestral elements like strings and choirs. Check out their new album and a few songs from their previous album
Now I’m going to be listening to Epica because of this reaction ❤️❤️
Love You and Love Epica!
I am soooooo looking forward to this. It should be fun (your reactions always are, actually). You, personally, might get a kick out of these two amazing singers having a stab at Stabat Mater Dolorosa. It is quite pretty.
Oh yes! That's straight up a classical piece, no metal involved. I may also add it's this very same concert but earlier, Floor got featured twice.
I agree. This is a must listen to.
@@dac2007 Yes...wish I had been there, dude. They sound awesome together whatever they sing. This was originally a Franciscan Latin poem written by Jacopone Da Todi in XIIIth Century and put to music by Giovanni Batista Pergolesi in 1730's. Floor and Simone are singing just the first three lines. One of my favourite pieces actually. Ok, I admit it....I'm a nerd ;)
@@jimborumable Good info! I discovered all these awesome bands in the last couple of months and can't get enough of them. I can't believe i missed Epica and Nightwish when they've been in my country multiple times
@@dac2007 I was hoping to see Nightwish this year but what with Covid-19 and all that, most probably won't happen now....Ho Hum :(
Simone and floor god sounds like angels awesome voice mix tell me floor ✌️
OMG!!! I love you so much! You actually reacted to it!! I'm literally waiting for this to come out! I like your reaction videos, very candid and i can always feel your excitement plus very informative. Looking forward to this!
Love the way you react . We can see how you became metal lover😊
I just love how excited this makes you, like a child that found a new superhero.
Welcome to the enjoyment of melodic metal!
Next step for you, dear woman, is to attend a concert as soon as you are able to! To actually feel the TRUE energy flowing through your body while being there. You will love it!
Ms.Zharoff could light up a large city with her enthusiasm. I love it.
I would love to hear Epica - Tides of Time, that is a great example of Simone.
Also, Kamelot - The Haunting ft. Simone
Or even Kamelot - Abandoned with Roy Khan
I got to see Epica live in Wisconsin back in 2008, it was phenomenal.
I don't know if you already have checked out Floor Jansen singing Vilijalied in the Dutch TV-show Beste Zangers. But if you like her it's worth checking out.
Floor doing the Song. I don't no anything about Love. 😘😊
yes already heard it amazing
Floor and Simone collaborated numerous times over the years. Ayreon used their voices for a number of rock opera's that he made in the 90's early 00's together with one of the singers of The Gathering, Anneke van Giersbergen. Those three were considered among the best Dutch female vocals at the time in the scene. Floors' most known song from that time is probably 'My house on Mars' eventhough she mostly sing background vocals there. It is known because it got launched into space for Mars by NASA
This is why I watch reaction videos: to see a professional nerd out over the skills of the best in the field.
There are two more Dutch symphonic metal bands you should listen to:
-> Within Temptation with Sharon den Adel as singer
-> Delain with Charlotte Wessels
Within Temptation has a wonderful duet with another great Dutch singer Anneke van Giersbergen together with a full orchestra: „Somewhere“
th-cam.com/video/ScjEJRIZGvg/w-d-xo.html
Apart from that you should watch/listen to some of their official videos:
„And we run“ featuring XZibit combining symphonic metal with rap.
„Paradise“, a duet with Tarja, the first Nightwish singer.
For Delain I can suggest the song/video „Masters of Destiny“
Anything from the Mother earth album with Within Temtstion is great.
Paradise is the song with Tarja
michael dougherty Of course it is! Thanx!
Writing comments „beside doing other things“ is often not a good idea 😳😉
I was going to suggest „Angels“ as well, changed my mind as I didn‘t want to suggest to much and there ist was, the mistake.
These ladies nailed it! Chills. FLOOR is always amazing me with her Style.
I know, we are always asking more and more... This is one very waited... Maybe you could do Shoemaker after, and please read about it first... It's very important... Almost everyone cry at the end of the song... It's GLORIOUS! By the way, you're the best and your Q&A is lovely...
As always. Thanks!
Epica "chasing the dragon" and "design your universe" from retrospect dvd. "Consign to oblivion" live at Zenith oficial live. "Façade of reality" from we will take you with us DVD
YES!!! great suggestions!
And "Serenade of self-destruction" from Retrospect too!
@@cellebg retrospect dvd full
I strongly prefer Consign to oblivion from Retrospect.. At zenith she "undersings" a lot.
Nosotros los Metaleros agradecemos tus constantes reacciones para con Floor & Nightwhish !! Esta vez junto a Simone otra grande en el Rock !! Este tema es un Temazo !! Una obra de Arte y una Pieza Maestra !! And you eres un Amor reaccionando al Metal . Thank Elizabeth 😘😘
Both of these singers collabbed together in 2 Ayreon albums! Highly recommend listening to them! So much talent!
There is a reason you are in many lists of best reactors on TH-cam. You earned it young lady.
This one should be great! Would still Love for you to do do “Ever Dream” by Nightwish so you can really see a Floor Belt-fest!
Consign to Oblivion (live at Zenith) gave me goosebumps even before Simone started singing
I LOVE THE FUN OF THAT DRUMMER .
First time I've come across Epica. Thank you so much for this introduction to them!
Epica ... Unleashed. You really need to check it out , has all the bells and whistles you need and you’ll see the whole range of what Simone and Epica can offer in one song. One of the most beautiful melodies and choruses in their catalog
It was so nice seeing you bounce with excitement at the beginning. Pure joy on your face too.
"How's the Heart Acoustic", pls.
Best part of your videos is seeing how much you genuinely enjoy listening...you just seem to be having fun.
I loved Simone singing a duet with Khan from Kamelot called "The Haunting" on that concert DVD Cold Winters Night
It's always nice to hear Tool get a shout-out on the topic of drums.
Totally addicted to this extremely beautiful, funny and charming woman. And she fore shure has a very charismatic voice
My favorite songs from Epica are "Once Upon a Nightmare" and "Tides of Time." Both are amazing and well worth a reaction
OH GOD!!!!!! This is INCREDIBLE. Hard to breath...
You should check out these two sing Stabat Mater Dolorosa. It is a total classical feel and they slay it.
Elizabeth unlike most reactions it bug's me stopping and backtracking but you just make it a pleasurable experience your reactions are so💓💓💓🤘🤘😍😍
Elizabeth always looks like a child on Christmas morning. The look of wonderment on her face 😀
Spreading the love and the vocal ability. This is a heavy song but Floor and Simone make add a kind of lightness you barely see. Great reaction.
They also do the Stabat Mater which I believe you would just adore.
you should watch it to the very end,,, even their thanking each other shows what fun they've had on stage. Love guest singers when it is so clear what friendship is there
You should try Epica alone, I recommend “Tides of Time”, “Serenade of self Destruction”, and “Chasing the dragon”
Two best friends come together and sing for Elizabeth. Elizabeth’s heart explodes
next: Nightwish - Shoemaker (from the last album , absolutely stunning epic song) ?
That ending brings me to tears every single time, it's so beautiful.
how would I describe it?power, drive and harmony!!!
More Epica!
Epica is such an amazing band and this concert celebrating their 10th anniversary is 3 hours of pure epicness. BTW, Simone was 3 months pregnant in this show and sang for 3h straight.
This song is actually quite basic for Epica. Please try these from the same concert -
Epica - Design Your Universe
Epica - Chasing the Dragon
Epica - Unleashed
this is one of my favorite live performance pieces ever.
That middle eastern feeling brings to my mind Nightwish, "Sahara"
Anyone who appreciates drummers, watch the Nightwish drummer in "Kai Hahto - Warm up solo"
Or if you want something heavier try Wintersun, "Sons of Winter and Stars", Kai on drums.
YES! Watching/listening to Danny Carey is a life changing experience!
