I'm a big fan of Joe and been listening to him from his Speed metal messiah album. His new album is awesome but I did notice he's getting a bit sloppy (for his standards) live and his sound is more muddy and less articulate than for instance 5-10 years back.... hope he doesn't continue the trend and keeps himself a bit more focused. Although, I bet everybody would be nervous if you have a drummer like this, never knowing when he'll forget the change of rhythm....
I think he’s on the money when he’s at home on his practice chair. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a combination of tight schedules not allowing a good warm up, mixed with with the fact that most players are a little off their peak when they play standing. Guy is a freaking monster though. Hope to see him in Australia with Alcatrazz.
well, I agree, but I have never met someone like a guitar player from 20 years back to play with the same impetus, its like me having 40 trying to run the same when I was 20? hahah. in my humble opinion, the camera sound might affect what you currently hear, but to me he is a killer still with his Organic Economy Picking , also there is no piano/keyboard, as I said, there are many factor that could lead you to misinterpret a lot of things. anyway, to me, he is the shredlord maestro
He's 59 years old. Hey, can you link us to a video of your shredding? :) He hit his trem arm with the bottom of his boot, so he clearly doesn't have OCD. If he had OCD he would be even better. So maybe that's the problem? :P
just dicovered him surprisidly. all his albums are my new favorites lol. wayyyy less boring than steve vai and malmsteen. his riffs are excellent. his imagination with notes is crazy perfect for my taste.
how fucking boring.. Stump is in a major slump. Not only does he have Yngwie-itis but he just rambles on with old Yngwie riffs. This style has been played out 20 yrs ago. Even Yngwie is practically dead is this style and he invented it.
Joe is a phenomenal player
What is a master without faithful friends?????
Maestro Stump I really enjoy 😊 your music my friend!!!!
Malmsteen and Blackmore in one rock on
The comment about taxes in Canada 😅😂... good contact with the audience and great show, 👏 👏🎃
Great fit for Alcatrazz. Shred on Joe.
Good Evening, Can someone please tell me the name of the second song. (starts at 3:50) Thank you.
Out of blood.
@@Matecrash Thank you very much.
@@gregggyf I hope that track glad you.
Because you are expecting since 1 year ago.
@@Matecrash It is always good to get the answers to questions that have been asked,... even if there is A SLIGHT TIME DELAY. Do have a good day. : )
Bloody hell what a player
Yes heavily influenced by Blackmore and Malmsteen but so what ?
He is fantastic.
Just one question
Is he wearing a wig ?
Un tel niveau ne relève plus du simple humain quelque soit son travail, là c'est le stade au-delà
Nikki Sixx can really rock the guitar!
Good God not even close that's an insult
were is this? wich bar?
The heritage of Yngwie and ritchie
Hell yes

@@VMaster1997 Yeah. Today Joe's albums are absolutley top notch neoclassical metal. No real competition whatsoever when it comes to composing.
Corruptor exactly what I thought.

Malmsteen clone?
Follower...influenced by... from Malsmteen school? There are nicer ways to put it. But I get what you mean. I still like some of his music though.
@Psychedelic Exploration dork
He's Beyond Malmsteen!!!! More Melody!!!
@@steventheo69 he really isnt though is he? Mind you I can only stomach about 15 mins of yngwie until it gets boring
No, Stump has own sound and style
Pistol whipped nadie lo toca?
ya hes gettin sloppy lol
Worst I've ever hear Yngwie sound.
Spinal tap ! For great technicians the overall feel of the band is sloppy , bass n drums not locked in
I'm sorry but this isn't very good, sorry
NOPE.
He has like 30 people watching him.
And manages to put on a show - it's called respect!
Boring
