The reason I really love Paul Gilbert is that he not only shows flash guitar technics, but also very easy-listening rhythms. We can say that he's very humble man in that point.

I was there right in the front row in front of Paul and I can tell you when they started I had my head blown off. The music was so loud and powerful, it was AMAZING...I told Paul "we love you Paul" and he replied "Aww love you too man..." So cool...Its was a brilliant night. Went home to Hastings buzzing my head off...

I landed on this video semi-randomly via the youtube recommendations. I could criticise and say they are not 'real' songs and that it's just a pre-rehearsed show-off jam, but even so, to play this long with no breaks so impeccably (by all musicians) is truly phenomenal. Top notch performance.

Man after this i really feel like a Lazy guitarist, just like the channel owner, i need to practice more, i think im a good guitar player, but to be at this level we really need to take at least 1-2 hours daily minimum, this video really motivated me, today i already started with this guitar discipline to exercise every day, doing recording isn't enough.

Goode & Mustang Sally (one after the other), so it was like playing _Johnny B. Goode_ for what like half an hour _(LOL)_

And he's doing all this shit at wicked volume with almost no preamp gain at all - totally amazing. He used to do these lesson seminars when he worked at GIT and you'd always see him reach around the back of some 80's JMC that Lee Jackson added an additional preamp too and it was instant heavy gain. Not here man, goddamn near impossible to rip this shit this loud with such a clean tone. Unbelievable technique... Again, not only a great performance, an unbelievable one !!!

He is incredible. A drummers rhythms played on a guitar..,no wonder he sounds so great with Lang. Another guitarist with incredible drumming/guitar skill is Mr Tommy Emmanuel, look up him doing live 'drum' solo on his guitar and you will see :)
