Another winner by Phoibos. I’ve noticed the best time to get one of their watches is when they first release a watch. They usually have a pretty hefty discount during the launch of a new watch. Great review as always.

Good thorough review 👍. I generally like Phoibos, and I like the dial and hand design here, it looked great on that orange strap! However the bracelet looks too wide and as you said the clasp is a let down. I also think the bezel is too wide and thick. I have an SN0116 GMT it is very similar in size with the same movement and original design. The bezel is slimmer and lower with a top hat crystal makes the watch head appear smaller, and the bracelet tapers down to 16mm with female end links and an on the fly clasp. Overall, it is an elegant design and substantially cheaper than the Phoibos.

Even the Rolex gmt master II has that back play in the bezel. I’ve yet to see a bi-directional bezel not have that smidgeny bit of back play in it. The hands make it look like it’s always fully lumed up haha.
Clasp does seems cheap for a four hundred dollar watch though. But it’s about what you would get on a seiko or other Japanese brand in that price range.

Well, the Sugess air command homage really has 0 play in it's bidirectional bezel. Super solid action.

Those clasps are the same ones Christopher Ward use on watches that are 3 times the price of this watch and I assure you they are nice quality as I have two...
