The stock knobs that come with the MPD218 simply pop off the unit. Out billet knobs however will lock into place with a screw on the side. Hope this helps!
I bought the 808 colored pads for mine. When i put it together again the pads respond poorly all except the center four... Any recommendations for getting them to respond like before?
At this time we do not have custom Force pads...but we do have custom Force skins if you want to check those out: www.mpcstuff.com/akai-force-faceplate-casing-skin-black-white-red-blue-camo-sk-force-clr/
Very timely to see the S/N on the inside! The abandoned one I just picked up was unreadable. Now I have it!
Super cool 👍
do you just pull and pop off the knobs? i wish there was a shot of demonstrating the knob removals...

Coolio. But I only spent $50 on a used MPD218.
Yeah man, I love the little 218, but those new pads are $50 lol wtf 🤣
I'm putting the biggest fattest pads they have in mine. :). Making a mount on the back of the controller to hold the ipad when not in use.
Do you guys use the Pad Corx on the MPD 218s ??????
Are there any custom force pads?
