Yooo my brotha Cloud auto detail!
After sanding with 3k grit, i used Meguiars m101 compound to remove the sanding scratches. Paired the compound up with a Rupes wool pad. Refined with a white pad with Menzerna 2500 polish. Thank you for watching the content! Let me know if you would like to see any specific subject.

DetailedByPrecision nice video and wow thanks. How do I know which Compound and Polish should I use based on paint or damage?

What brand compound and polish you using at the moment? It depends on what your goals are for the paintwork. A compound will remove deeper defects, while a polish will remove light defects but will maximize gloss and clarity.

DetailedByPrecision uh M105 and M205. No Polishers yet because I’m still a beginner to it. Though some people recommend getting a rotary buffer instead of a DA Polisher, which one is better for a beginner? And which Rupes do you have?

I also started out using the famous m105 and m205 combo! M105 is a bit old school product though due to high dusting, and very short buffing cycle before it dries up. I would recommend starting out with a dual action over a rotary as your first machine. I burned over 100 cars using the rotary while i was working at the auto body shop. I would highly recommend purchasing the 6inch griots garage dual action polisher as your 1st machine. Good budget, good power, good ergonomics. I own one for over 5 years, and i still use it in conjunction with long throw DAs.
