Today’s questions seemed especially heavy. After I finished listening, I noticed I was feeling somewhat discouraged, but then I realized I was focusing on the questions and not the answers. Appreciate the podcast.

What an awesome episode. I love how Parker answered the 21 yr old guys question about marriage. Being a Christian changes how we love and honor our commitments.

I completely agree with Parker’s perspective on making a clear boundary so that there is no question “how far is too far” before marriage. I admire the commitment, discipline, and self control he and Amy had!
Also, when Parker was talking about how no one takes the commitment of marriage seriously, when you’re living together and doing things married couples do, there truly is no point in getting married when you are already acting like it. It breaks my heart too that it is socially and morally acceptable to pretend to be married before making that commitment.

I wanted to add something to Bryan's question and Granger telling him that those family members were not his... I got pregnant with my daughter when my other daughter was 6 months old. I was super stressed and was very ungrateful and God said to me on a random day when I was pregnant and grumpy "that's MY child you're carrying and she's one more hallelujah for me" boy did that change everything I've ever known about what's mine LOL. They are God's people. You love your family but God loves them more. Knowing this, changes a lot

Anonymous about the LDS church. Her parents will see the love of God through her and her husband. Her actions as a born again Christian and her prayers for her parents will not go unnoticed.

Hi Granger, may the Lord bless you from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic! All babies deserve life because the Lord created them for life. Psalm 139 tells us that the Lord knew us before we were born. Thanks for sharing this episode, I really love it!

Thank you so much for this podcast Granger and Parker. You were talking about the mormon church? I wonder what their beliefs are. Because I have been following the ruby Frankie case and Jodie Hillary. But she was a mormon too. So they are in trouble for discipline and pun and time of their kids. So this is sad so I wonder if the boy man's believes they disciplined the kids like that. Jodie hildeberry was a therapist that's a mormon church chose to help people in their beargeous. She really messed people up so bad of her because of her mormon believes.

I have always said "I love you" first, maybe that's my problem. It was easy for me to leave the Catholic Church even though my father was a member. Granger's getting political and I'm here for it!!! JP's question is basically the sitcom, Reba.

I would love to hear more about the back to back questions that seemed to get different responses.
    1. Husband is tired of wife partying and “abandoning” he and son on weekends. let’s be honest she most likely has another guy that she could get pregnant by. Versus 2. The wife whose husband has obviously been out partying and created a baby in the process.
Should the covenant of marriage be upheld in both of these cases? If so, HOW? I also think about the children and wonder how these adults should relate to the children now?
    Very complicated 😢

I must say the Mormon church is not horrible, this person's account is personal, she has a horrible attitude towards the church. The church has a department with in that deals with adoption, etc. They don't guide anyone towards abortion. Just the opposite!! It is so wrong to judge a religion on one person's experience. God Bless!

This guy talks about wanting sooo many toys before he buys a ring. Doesn't sound like he really loves her. I think it's time to either make the commitment or let her go. He loves his things more than her. If I were her...I would be gone! He doesn't love her.

The problem with that couple is that they're already living like a married couple, or so it seems, and he certainly doesn't seem like he's ready to sacrifice much to be the husband he's supposed to be in that relationship. Seems like he's enjoying the perks without the commitment.

Be abolitionist instead of simply pro-life

    • @bowed305
      @bowed305 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

I prefer to say that I am anti-abortion, and I am pro-life - two separate things. I don't like how "pro-life" has become so politicized, but when I say it, I mean that I am in favor of life, people living - in the womb, at birth, through childhood, adulthood, etc. If we're truly pro-life, we not only oppose abortions, but we also do all that we can to support life post-birth.

Dear anonymous.. I am heart broken that you call the Mormon church is horrible. Wow. The Mormon church is horrible? A church who believes in Christ and his sacrifice, but more fully in his resurrection. A church who believes in family is forever. A church who believes in FORGIVENESS. Interesting concept. A church who believes in a full baptism. A church who believes is love . My question to you would be what made you so angry to the church? Why were you bitter towards them? There are underlying anger you are sharing. I am sad that there is judgement towards a church who does so much good. The Mormons do fully believe in Christ . They are saved. You stating you don’t believe in organized religion, but have joined another one. Faith comes to those who love and accept and are humble. Any church/ religion has the capacity to enrich one’s life if they are in tune. Any religion are run by human beings, human beings who are compromised of imperfect beings. So please don’t label a church as horrible. You are so misguided and lost yourself. We are in this life together. I pray you will have a moment of clarity and your own anger towards the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. (That is the full name). church to be softened.

The Mormon church is of the devil and does not worship the biblical Jesus. You are lying about Jesus. They do not believe Jesus is God and thus deny the trinity. The Mormon Jesus is the anti christ.

This accounts for 93% of cases.
