I used to play golf at a 9 hole course that was built on a swamp, and I built a metal building for him to park his carts under. I got to know him pretty quickly and he had transplanted a slew of mayhaw trees around the course! Eventually he showed me a spot where he was making homemade mayhaw wine and also jelly! I miss the course because it is no longer there anymore but I learned to hit a draw and a cut because of the set up of the holes! Forget the golf the mayhaw jelly was amazing!

I never took Willie very serious before today. But the last 5-10 mins and his excitement was like him preaching a sermon and it was bringing me to trembling tears. I’ll make it down there one day; might even send my kids to camp chyoca.
Hearing of Jase and yall sharing in high school with anyone who would listen and want most for them to know The Lord made me tear up. Yall that is so unusual and special - very powerful testimony to how deeply you love Jesus.

I enjoyed listening to you guys talk about sharing the gospel and what that should look like according to Jesus. Like you, I believe the Church has gotten off track with the example Jesus set for us and how to approach sharing the gospel outside of church walls and into our everyday lives. The Gospel of Jesus Christ should be our main focus. It is the sole reason for our existence as Christians living her on Earth.
I hope to read your book soon and get more insight on this much-needed guidance.

The Blind made my sermon a couple of weeks ago. I was talking about the Power of God through the Holy Spirit being displayed in the world. I made the point that the Holy Spirit was alive and well in the lives of the Robertson family.
Until I read the book of Acts, I felt the same way. Acts shows us we are all called to be disciplines!

The trouble with today's dilution of culture is talking about Jesus could get your sucker punched or even killed.
Jesus said to pick up our cross and follow him. That doesn't mean to just do what he said, but it also means to do what he did. Jesus said, if you save your life, you'll lose it, if you lose your life you save it. He is a peak8ng of eternal life verses mortal life.

I love this podcast but watching it on TH-cam is a bit frustrating. Way too many interruptions and unskippable ads that break up the message and I refuse to pay into TH-cam's corruption. I wish they posted on Rumble regularly.

The first time I heard Mayhaw was on duck dynasty. I’ve never heard of them and I’m not from the south from the Pacific Northwest.
The study of Gospeler by Willie is available for free on Right Now Media if you have access to it. Our church has a subscription for us to use.. The study has 6 sessions plus study guide you can print for each session. Willie does the video sessions. We have begun it today .

11:22 believe or not, we have mayhaws in southeast Alabama. The Headland, Alabama area. My husband’s coworker has some mayhaw trees and gave us some jelly. It’s delicious. I think they may be near some sort of body of water.
