Farmtruck and AZN, one other thing you can add to the Farmboat is a smoke machine so it looks like you're doing a burnout before you pull to the line. THAT WOULD BE SOME COOL SHIT!!!

Add a brake pedal that is connected to some actuators to push some flaps out to create brake drag... I can draw up a quick engineered drawing on a 12 vdc system ....

They got pontoon boats going 118mph might be faster now but that's with mods & 3-300 horsepower outboards
🤔 3hp ain't propelling anything to 118mph, even with mods.

As I understand it a prop boat can get a higher top speed, but the jet drive accelerates better. As the speed gets higher it’s harder to get the water to make that turn into the jet drive.
If they wanted to chase top speed two V drives and two engines would be the solution.

If you put a set of Hydro foils under the pontoons it will rise up out of the water and go away faster and be a lot more controllable

15:50 the jet-a-vator didn't like to be slammed flat, it automatically in found it's happy home once some water started moving thru the jet!
My 600hp Olds powered jet boat with a berkeley did that too, so we made a plate with detents to kinda hold the lever where I wanted it to stay at.
Edit : might try a dropped snout jet to help get the "boat" up out of the water but still plane out without cavitation.
You need to have his hand on that trim at all times have it back coming out of the hole and then gradually move it forward as it comes up on plane that's what's killing it
