Thanks for the comment Dan. It was just purchased through a seller on eBay. As I remember the seller removed this particular grille not long after I purchased it. I'll have another look for you and let you know as I think they sell on amazon too. Thanks:)
Dang, I didn't know it was so much work to swap. I ended up buying a 2014 RS5 which will arrive in a couple of weeks but I was very close to get an S5. I would've definitely swap the grill, it's the single biggest upgrade, along with the X Pipe IMHO. I would take the RS5 logo off though!

After buying the car there wasn't much that set it apart from standard A5s - I saw that standard black edition grille everywhere. I mean a great looking car anyway, but that rs5 grille makes the difference. Hope you enjoy the rs5 when it arrives. It'll be a beast!
Hi Hassaim, thanks for the comment. No I didn’t have to remove the lining as I remember. If you’re going to go for it just make sure you give yourself plenty of time to get it done as can be quite fiddly. Definitely worth it though!

Hi . Getting my s5 b9 soon and wondering did you have to cut out the grey foam behind the grill and spray with black plasti dip to hide the grey ? Thanks 👍
Thanks for the comment Kyzer. I didn't spray the foam. Once I had the full switch done it was hardly noticeable unless you got up real close and then you could kind of see the foam in good light. It didn't bother me, but if you want to ensure visibility of the foam is minimum then yes go for it. However, if you aren't too bothered just leave it how it is. Nobody negatively commented on mine. Quick question for you mate, nice job by the way 👍 what did you do with your original parking sensors did you just reposition them to the new grill holes either side of the plate? I have two parking sensors positioned at the bottom corners of my oem grill but looks like have got the same after market grill to you. Cheers
Hi GeoNyc, as I remember the S5 badge can't be removed easily from the grille. I bought a Supercharged badge instead and replaced the RS5 badge with that.

Thanks for the comment. As I remember this was a 2012 model. The auto folding mirrors were a nice feature. I wish other cars I’ve owned had this. I think it was just a factory option. Cheers

If you want to badge a car RS5, buy an RS5. Temporarily argument is just BS. You were pretending to be a car that you aren't TEMPORARILY. You are no different than those Japanese ricers. Many people on TH-cam change their grill on their S5 to RS5 style, but they kept the S5 badge. Sigh. Maybe a Japanese car fits your style more. Then you can put VTEC or Type-R stickers and badges all around your car, which is a base model. Same thing as you done here... temporarily. 🤦
