@@abovebeyondandforever6571: For me this not a gender debate, it’s a justice debate. I don’t think that anyone should have to face capital punishment for non violent drugs offences. As we speak we have tons of black men and women doing serious time for drugs offences which were non violent and then they changed the law because they realised that the laws as they stood would criminalise a significant proportion of the white kids because of their fentanyl addiction. I also think that punishing the mule is asinine as it doesn’t stop the kingpin from exploiting another vulnerable person and flooding the streets with drugs?

Smh. I swear smh. I had a student who was given five years for her boyfriend's drugs. She was 18 and pregnant at the time and they got pulled over. Her boyfriend had a record and since she didn't he told her to tell the police that the drugs were hers and that she wouldn't get in trouble. Being young, dumb, and naive that's what she did. Well she got locked up. The thing is the police knew who they really belonged to and they were trying to get her to tell them but she wouldn't. She stayed in jail for 5 years for a man who she never heard from again and gave birth to her daughter in prison. Her grandmother took care of her until mom got out. Ain't no way. She did say that she felt like a fool but she just couldn't tell them. She is better than me because I'm singing like a bird. The moral of the story is no one who cares anything about you is going to even put you in these types of situations.

I felt real bad because I already had orders and I didn't tell her that I was leaving (and I was very happy about it,) I waited a week before it was time to go and I told her and she just broke down and went crazy and was crying but for me was just sexual. She didn't call me the n word and I don't think she was necessarily mad at me but she was feeling like life was just treating her terribly. What everybody is saying is that if an individual commits a crime, the police needs to arrest, prosecute, and if guilty jail or deport the individual(s). Whatever the laws of the land state. I see nothing wrong with a country even limiting the number of ppl who travel in from anywhere.
However, repeatedly burning down and trashing the businesses and homes owned by black ppl is inexplicable. Especially when you don't attempt to burn down even 1 solitary business or home of the official oppressors in that country or the businesses of any of the other European migrants seeking opportunities there. The response to that point is always "It's too complicated". The other day I read a story that a group of white S. Africans were posioning the drinking water supply of where some African S. Africans live. Not one building was torched.
In Nigeria, of the 220 million who live there about 10 to 20% originate from neighboring countries as well as from outside Africa. All seeking opportunities in Nigeria. I'll give the benefit of the doubt and say most are good ppl, like me, but some or many are committing crimes. If found out, they're arrested and will be handled by the law. You'll never hear of Nigerian Nationals burning down the homes and businesses of other Africans en masse because......???? Sons and daughters of African soil??? It has never happened.
We've had some land squabbles by border states and some tit-for-tat. We've also expelled British ppl en masse, deported large number of Chinese. It will never ever happen that any group of ppl of any African-descent is forcibly removed from Nigeria. When they're in NIgeria, they're at home. They can be rest assured.

If I smuggled 8 kilos of anything into any country I wouldn't insult anyone by describing myself as a "victim". I would be contrite and ask for forgiveness. She wasn't smuggling 8 kilos for "love". If most of the world are ppl like me who won't even touch cigarettes, much less heroin, there would be no drug business. In Western media online or print we don't really hear anything positive about black S. Africans either. Anything positive is skipped over and ignored. Anything negative done by a black S. African is put on full blast and reinforced into the minds of everyone.
