The very thought of believing that anything related to those ppl is somehow "better" is the mental damage that our ppl still carry. Look at the case of the model minority. Isn't that part of the damage and the belief that proximity to those ppl is somehow better? Black Americans have learned from fighting on the front lines to be loud and uppity, but many of our siblings around the world are still finding their fullest voice.
