3D is only for viewing and you cannot manipulate the model through that viewport. "User" is similar to "3D" but allows model manipulation, so pehaps that will work best for you
You figure out the material assigned to the mesh you want to change, then you edit the detail texture assigned to that material in a photo editor. Then replace the old texture with the new one. You may have to do some uv editing to get everything lined up properly, but then you should be all set
@@GFX756 The program no longer runs on my computer. The textures part of the tutorial should help with locating the texture you want to edit. Openiv can export the texture from the ytd as a png instead of dds. Photoshop or a transparent-friendly image editor will be used to add the text onto the texture. Openiv will re-import the edited texture into the ytd as a dds. Then the vehicle should have the window text when you spawn the car.
Thank you for this! Got into V modding recently and this helped a ton!
Doesn't let me select and move the collision on the 3D view and help on that??

But whenever I export it says chassis(col) has no bone or geometry associated with it , could u help me
I would say undo some stuff, and re-compound it after youve edited the collision mesh.
I just found out from someone else, that if you make the collision with the detatch polygon tool, the collision works.
Thank u man
I'm getting this error now but i can't solve... can you help me?
