Thanks for giving an overview of Easley. You should’ve also mentioned Southern Oaks golf course which is not ridiculously over priced there is no ridiculous membership fee of $5000 and it’s only $27 for a senior to play 18 holes with a golf cart.
One thing you need to know about Easley: we're FULL. Traffic is terrible, the crowds are terrible. I've lived in Easley for 60+ years and it has become almost unbearable in the last 10.
The Greenville metro area is on the cusp of exploding in the next ten years. I can understand your concern, but you can't stop progress. If you think your traffic is bad, where I live in south Florida, you would probably have a nervous break down.
My Pickens Co property taxes are less than half what my Greenville Co property taxes were, the taxable valuations within 10k of one another, my Easley Combined Utilites Water bill is 2/3 the charges on my Greenville Water System... I left the water running in the field for 2 days and still was not as high as my monthly GWS charges. I went from 450k 2800ft house on 3 tenths of an acre off of Pelham Rd (5 miles from down town Greenville) to 2000 sq ft New construction Custom house on 5 acres with rock outcroppings and a creek running through it and a new construction red iron and metal 1600 ft garage - dollar for dollar swap - (4 miles from downtown Greenville)
Tell them how bad the traffic is on 123 , awful , wrecks every day . people with such disregard for others . Tell how they won't find a home for sell and how overpriced the homes are . I live here and its no joke what I say .
$2 million doesn't seem like a lot to invest in the downtown area. Maybe $20 million? $200 million? IDK it did say $2 million on their website but also had some other number typos.
As someone who lived in Easley over a decade recently as of 2023, Do NOT move to Easley, we just moved out due to the increase of transplants coming in. The city has grown significantly in the past few years since covid and the infrastructure hasn’t caught up. Utilities, transportation etc is not able to keep up with the influx of population. Houses are being built up to 3 PER lot, more apartments instead of housing is being constructed. Hwy 123 which was slow growth through 2019 is now a congested bumper to bumper mess through out multiple times per day and especially around the holidays. What was once a quaint beautiful town, is now a congested social experiment disaster. Easley will be remembered for how it was before the People-Rush of 2020-2023…
I hope you like a lot of traffic because it is full of traffic jams and with all the new houses being built it will only get worse . Most of these videos only post the good stuff and it is out of date for what it's really like . On school days to travel 2 miles to take your kids you will be looking at 25 minutes . Grocery stores don't have enough parking and are crowded ,, new houses and apartments being put up only ensures more crowded lines . Welcome if you like big city traffic in a small town. I been living here for 60 years . Dont believe everything you read on TH-cam , even what I say . Really check it out . Good luck
It;s funny to me the only ones recommending moving to the southern states are the real estate salesmen or women from another state ,, make that sale ha
Easley your best video yet.
Yes sir!
Nice pun. Some of them take a while to think of; others are easy Pickens.
@@lesbaker hehe
On the note of golf, you are proximate to Southern Oaks, Rolling Greens, and Pickens Country Club courses as well.
Yes very true

I’ll do a video soon of all of the golf courses available to the public in the upstate
are you able to make a video about best horse areas to live around greenville with vets, trainer and trail access?
Vote for that too!
We are full. Traffic is horrible.
