Depends on the bike. There is a hyabusa that runs between 210 and 220 MPH. a friend of mine runs a Harley at about 150 or so.

what is the timing distance of Go and to have max speed in ? I just dont know about landspeedracing much, but looks cool and think its the start of the hotrod custom car scene? because i have seen from pictures, started century ago, it was all about speed.

I missed June, was thinking of going in July. Is it setup for spectators at all, or is it mostly a driver's event?

There are no grandstands, however, except for the course there are no restrictions on were you can go, and everyone is supper friendly and welcoming. You can park along the sides of the course, tune your radio in, and watch. Hang out at the start line or the finish. A lot of folks park their RVs, sit under easy ups, drinking beer and watch.
