When LabMuffin interviewed that Deciem scientist, he said that their retinols in oil need to be refrigerated as well as used up in 3 months. I don’t think retinols in oils are stabilized :/.

Differin Acne Body Spray, very interesting! This could be great for ones who struggle with back acne. My daughter used to struggle and if it was gentle enough, may be awesome when she needs it!
Aveeno also extended their calm and restore line. They have a thicker moisturizer now even though I think they just reformulated the ultra calming line. I love the redness relief moisturizer!
A luxury brand that's worth every penny imo is Holifrog. I love them and would love to see a review. Their Owel Multi-Peptide Eye Cream is my favorite product of theirs and I saw significant results in such a short window of time (around 3 weeks). Their Sunnyside C Glow Serum is a second favorite and is one of the only serums that has helped to brighten my face and fade some of my hyperpigmentation (paired with 3% Tranexamic and 2% Niacinamide) while leaving me plump and supple 🤭.

Two things. I understand your being there when nostalgic, are you empathic? Sounds like it. And as for the NuFace (the old one) a heads up. If you ever start to sag it is a miracle for the neck. But beware of the device on your cheeks. Mine were pristine and are now covered in small broken capillaries. I have to wear makeup now. It shocks the shit out of me sometimes too. But my neck is like new.
They have a Set with the CP serum and the marine algae eye cream full sizes it's 85$ for the set 64 just for the serum but with 3O% off ur only paying like 12$ more more that half once algae eye cream it's like 49 and change for just the serum then like 60 for the set of the serum and eye cream . What u think I haven't tried the eye cream I just got the DK eye butter but I heard the Biosionce eye cream was amazing like their best seller think maybe should but alittle extra and get the set what do u think or just the CO serum

I think The Ordinary Granactive Retinoid recommends keeping it in the fridge. Which is why I stopped using it. I don't have a skincare fridge, and I wasn't buying one just for a $10 retinoid, so it was inconvenient to say the least.

I still like both, but I wanted to compare them and I think the Byoma gives me more hydration. I also integrated the Byoma hydrating serum in place of the Cocokind ceramide barrier serum and my skin seems to be responding to this new combo really well. Especially with going into cooler weather, the Peach Slices wasn’t enough hydration. My skin is combo and dehydrated, I think. Would love to know your thoughts on Byoma!

I almost bought that in the 10x event, but sadly I checked the ingredients and realized it contains one of my allergens 😭💔 It’s probably a very nice product though. P&L does textures incredibly well, and that’s such a nice list of peptides!
0.5-2% is considered the effective range of salicylic acid against acne, although I’m not sure what BHA they intend to include in the product. Willow bark/LHA can still have a place, although they’re not considered as potent

I noticed that at Ulta, the discoloration serum is the old 2% TA for the smaller bottle. The new 3% TA reformulated is only available in the large bottle. I was so glad that I checked because I would have been massively annoyed to get the 2% TA formulation. I feel like Ulta is trying to get rid of the old formulation, so who knows how old those bottles are... 🤨

Paula’s Choice Clear body spray sprays really well upside down. I bought one bottle and have been refilling it with cheaper 2% BHA toners; I’m currently using Revolution’s toner.
OMG ITS SO TRUE. I’m glad I tried it as I do ultimately like it - there is a catch though, and it is: consistency is a must. It’s not something you can pick up once every couple of weeks and see results; it requires 5-10 minutes multiple times a week

It does look a lot lighter than TO’s version, although I don’t think that’s necessarily indicative of it having less copper peptide. What did surprise me is how quickly it sinks in! That does leave me wondering if it might actually perform better than the TO version. I just have the sample size so I’m not sure if I’ll be able to form a thorough opinion or if I’ll need to scoop it (in a sale!!), but that did impress me 🤔

I don't hear you talk about good molecules alot. Do they have standout products 🤔? Are they like the inkey list, hit and miss products.
Great products BUT gentle. So I don’t use their original retinol as I’m way past 0.1%, nor the BHA as I use 2% salicylic vs 0.4%.

Wanted to pop back in and say that I’ve since switched over to Byoma gel cream after running low on the Peach Slices redness calming cream. I still like both, but I wanted to compare them and I think the Byoma gives me more hydration. 14:45 is bha at 0.5% effective? or is that just enough of bha to work as a preventative measure against pimples, oily skin, etc?
0.5-2% is considered the effective range of salicylic acid against acne, although I’m not sure what BHA they intend to include in the product. Willow bark/LHA can still have a place, although they’re not considered as potent

I noticed that at Ulta, the discoloration serum is the old 2% TA for the smaller bottle. The new 3% TA reformulated is only available in the large bottle. I was so glad that I checked because I would have been massively annoyed to get the 2% TA formulation. I feel like Ulta is trying to get rid of the old formulation, so who knows how old those bottles are... 🤨

Paula’s Choice Clear body spray sprays really well upside down. I bought one bottle and have been refilling it with cheaper 2% BHA toners; I’m currently using Revolution’s toner.

OMG ITS SO TRUE. I’m glad I tried it as I do ultimately like it - there is a catch though, and it is: consistency is a must. It’s not something you can pick up once every couple of weeks and see results; it requires 5-10 minutes multiple times a week

I was hunting the ulta site cause I'm was getting boede with the Sephora one and I keep notice Sephora is putting all these old products In the new section ? So word not even calling them reformulated a few were but I am so over the Sephora releases I'm like what is happening. I just got the Kopari gel body wash at Marshals for 6$ I couldn't pass it up smelled so good and the mini biosionce elderberry cleansing gel. I found a few more thing I regret not geting fount the kate summerfeild moisturizer the good one that's like 90$ u know the one with the matching serum delicate cream it was freaken 24$ ok im regreting it all the way also found the cutest boot 34.99 but I ended up putting them back cause I really want these doc martins flat ones not with the big chunky plastic bottom they are so cute like 85$ do I was like might as well out alittle more with it and get what I really want but I hate buying shoes online I'm between sizes and never no weather to size up or down but the marshals ones were super cute to but and comfy but I loved the Dr martens and I want new band I didn't get to look at the clothes or home ware really tons of candles Halloween out too. I had a whole 39 min with a husband rushing some same with target I had 5 min I need up getting the Byomia cerimide cream to try and again held the Cerve peroxide cream cleanser and again put it away ..need to stop going that and I got to Ms myers all purpose sprays the 🍎 cider one omg it smells amazing I have not been able to get it 2 years with he COVID shit and if u could find it they wanted 36$ for 1 bottle of 4.89 cleaner crazy AF I wish I got the other 2 they had now I like to stock up. Oh I wanted to tell you: I tried the biossance copper peptide serum last night. It does look a lot lighter than TO’s version, although I don’t think that’s necessarily indicative of it having less copper peptide. What did surprise me is how quickly it sinks in! That does leave me wondering if it might actually perform better than the TO version. I just have the sample size so I’m not sure if I’ll be able to form a thorough opinion or if I’ll need to scoop it (in a sale!!), but that did impress me 🤔

I think you should maybe try the copper peptide sample? It’s a GWP at Sephora, so if you’re thinking of getting anything $25+ you can choose that.
