I still prefer D5 render! I’ve been using Lumion for years and just made the switch a few months ago . It is a lot like unreal engine but more focused on architecture. The quality is amazing
I've been thinking of switching to D5 but I don't know what kind of vegetation library it has, specifically European vegetation in the Pro version. Also I'd like to know how much longer than Enscape it will take to render the same videos, I know they'll look better than Enscape, but if they take ages longer then it might not be worth me changing over.
@@3DGvisuals if you download the free version of D5 , I’m pretty sure it will show you all of the pro vegetation items but they will be locked until you purchase the pro version . From my experience , most of the plants and trees are very high quality and D5 is currently reaching out to users to ask what plants /trees they want added next . They have a huge library of them. As for render time on videos , D5 is pretty fast . For smaller projects ,videos export in minutes , large projects take little longer depending on how much is in the file. I’d just make sure you have a good graphics card . D5 also said they are about to add Pathtracing to the software in the near future so it will be even more realistic
@@3DGvisuals no its not.. if you think quality of d5 is even close to unreal you are taking the fkn piss mate... why architects think they know 3d... hahahaha they are a fkn joke.. they should learn how to model a sphere first then we talk... cheers
UNREAL SHOULD NOT BE COMPARE TO NO ENGINE OUT THERE... UNREAL IS BEYONG ALL THAT IS COMING OUT.. IS THE STANDARD AND IT WILL BE FOR THE NEXT 30 YEARS.. STOP COMPARING
I tend to agree.. other like D5 there is no VR, no interactivity, no metahuman.. and UE will keep improving to be one day totally overcome uncanny valley and replace most human actors and bury Hollywood.. how other "architectural 3D" things can compare..
Downloading Unreal right now and the only thing I can say is how the hell haven't I downloaded it already. Jumping from Lumion to Vray to corona to D5 Unreal, according to the videos I've being seeing is the best of all the softwares. But I got to try it first and confirm or deny my hypothesis. Simply Amazed with what I've seen Unreal do in the last 2 hours
Bro doesn't even know UE lumen is a hybrid derivative of Path Tracing 😂. The industry standard is Path Tracing. No one has been able to achieve real time Path Tracing, including unreal engine. However UE is far better than beginner softwares like Twinmotion and Lumion.
i hate lumion, its user interface its bad, it doesnt even have Ctrl+Z, its a pain to put assets on the model and in general it laks a lot of basic features, but i still use it over any other sofware because you can import a model and make a render in seconds

Very useful!🎉
Can u please make a video on unreal engine and d5 render
And also a long video on unreal engine
Lumion can only be compared with Twinmotion (product of vital activity UE).

I would keep using Lumion if ray tracing looked better for exteriors.
