Hi Geoff, good to hear from you! This is definitely a nice area to ride and the day I was out it was empty! Can't ask for more than that. I have been watching the progress on your building but I'm not always able to leave a comment because I often watch on the TV and not my computer. Coming along nicely, what a great job you've done! Hope you take a break from time to time and get out on the trails on your ebike!
Superb video Tom ! Such an amazing scenic and joyful ride :) I must say the Ranger has to be one of the best Hub Drive e-Bikes in its class ! I think this video also answers any questions people might have about Mid Drive v Hub Drive motors ! As long as you spend that little bit extra on a Hub bike its just as capable on trails that are this testing against a Mid Drive ,and you can have just as much of a fun ride too ha! :) One thing that is as amazing as the bike is that beautiful blue sky ! wow ! :)
Thanks for watching! You are correct, a good hub drive bike is a very capable climber and off road bike! The Cyrusher Ranger has been fantastic for me, I've done over 1800 miles of off road riding with 100% dependability. It's just so much fun to ride, you can't ask for more that that! Cheers
Nice ride. Were in the mid 90s with 50% humidity by noon. It's almost too hot to ride. Almost. Lol got 50 miles in last Wed. Going again tomorrow. Early probably get there by sun up and see how it goes. Love that the mountians there still have snow this time of year. It's warm here in the smokies by may. We aren't as high up.
Hello, riding with that temp and humidity definitely takes it out of you. It was in the 90's here last week and like you I was getting out early! Here in Colorado most of the high passes are blocked by snow until mid July. Thanks for watching!
Awesome ride! Amazing bike. Beautiful trails and scenery. Thanks for the Silver Plume tour. Surprised you don't see animals on your rides? (Other than domestic?) Absolutely thrilling to watch! Thanks.
Hi Terry, Silver Plume is a really cool tiny "living ghost town". Everyone I saw there was really nice and told me how hard they work to not let the town turn into a tourist trap. Some unrestored buildings, dirt streets, only typical small town stores, etc, make it a pretty cool place to live. All I saw on this ride were deer, when I go up to Rocky Mountain National Park next week I'll get footage of all sorts of wildlife! Cheers
Hallo, super Video extrem spannend.
Hello, thanks for watching! My Cyrusher Ranger is my best climbing bike on the back trails. It is completely stock in regards to the motor and controller. There is an updated / upgraded controller available for purchase now but I have not installed it. I have upgraded the forks, changed the gearing and added larger brakes. All my mods are shown in a video I posted last year. If you subscribe or go to my website ( Lifebehindbarz60.com ) you can see all my Ranger videos and they should answer your questions. Cheers
@@1hunter726 Thanks for watching! I have been told by people that have purchased and installed the new controller that it does boost the power a bit. It also comes with a pigtail for a wired rear light. If you buy a Ranger today it should have the new controller already so you won't need to purchase it separately. My is just the first gen Ranger so it has the old controller. Cheers
I absolutely loved this video Tom. It is easily my favourite. Loved the tour of the town and the commentary.
