- #NewRideDay at one of my favorite Colorado Front Range areas, Buffalo Creek. I had never tried out the Little Scraggy loop and took this opportunity to explore what turns out to be a great trail. Check it out if you are in the hood.

Love the positive attitude you have on the trail. Great video!
Looks like a great trail! LOL the stem on that bike.
This is an excellent video showing all of little scraggy.
Nicely done. I enjoyed watching this since I spent time on the trail building crew and ride it often. It's a great addition to the Buff Creek system. Like your comment at 7:20 about the tree.
+Lee Rossiter thank you so much for helping to build that trail, it's wonderful.
The comment about the tree was my favorite part too. Challenges are just that, I don't want everything sanitized. Out east where I ride we would have to level everything.
Awesome looking trail!
I really enjoy your riding, video and commentary
Thank you for sharing! This one is next on my to-do list for sure. Also thank you for being courteous to other trail users.
That's my kind of trail What a work of art!
If your more of a fast downhiller definetly check out the big loop and blackjack but little scraggy towards the end is fun fast and you can make anything a jump
Nice! I've been wanting to get out to Buffalo Creek for a while!
+BKXC Thanks, it is a fun place, lots of options for great rides.
Just visited the front range and hit up buffalo creek this past weekend. Was on a Yeti SB 4.5 that I rented from Wheatridge Cyclery. Awesome bike! The climb is a lot of fun as there are some nice descents mixed in and not just one all out climb, and when the trail finally points down it is an absolute blast. This was my favorite trail I rode this past weekend.
+Gabe Schultz Sounds like you had a SOLID weekend. What else did you ride?
Jason Bikes Friend I was visiting lives in Fort Collins. We did Buffalo Creek Thursday. Blue Sky to Indian Summer Loop in Fort Collins Friday (that was fun just very hot since you are exposed to the sun the whole time but some super fast descents). Saturday we went to Curt Gowdy to do the Epic ride was 8 miles in when a nasty thunderstorm hit. We just finished the Canyons trail when it hit so we didn't get to the other trails which was too bad because Canyons was mostly hike a bike and not that fun but the views were incredible. That night went back to Fort Collins and did Lory State Park. Kimmons was an absolute blast coming down.
+Gabe Schultz Solid choices, I'm planning to get back to Fort Collins once things chill out here.
Nice job. That was entertaining and good quality. I finally got a chance to ride that trail today! It was Epic! I had an excellent time and hit one of the biggest Rock jobs I've ever done on a trail. You pass right by it at 12:35. I had to hit it 3x it was so fun and tech!
That's crazy, I was out there too, I do like that line and have been moving further to the left to catch that drop the last two times I've hit it.
What a great video!. I went and rode it a few weeks back after watching your video, I was inspired to go try the trail.
+Jason bryant that's great! A huge part of why I do this is to get people on to more bike and more trails. Thanks so much.
So many people!!!
My God, man! That looks like too much fun. As if Buff Creek needed to get any better.
GREAT video... Nice ride
I need someone to give me a tour of this place. It looks amazing
Wow what a beautifully smooth trail like what a novice like myself could handle. Is that rated easy or moderate and are there others around the area like that ? Seems like near Denver/Boulder everything is awfully steep and rocky.
I miss it it so much.
Smoooooooothhhhhh
Hah! When I rode Little Scraggy for the first time awhile ago I (and another group) got to that same point (about 3:15 in) and it took us a minute or two to figure out where the heck to go...
Even when I was editing the video I wasn't sure I saw the right line and thought I saw another one. It looks like there has been some attempt to mark it and either the weather or something has dispersed the clues. I think once you know it though it will be fun.
Hi, do yohave to pay for the parking? any rattle snakes? thanks in advance
No, you don't need to pay to park, lots of good parking in a couple lots. Never seen a rattle snake up there but I'm not 100% especially with their habitat migrating more every day.
Jason, what part of the state was this trail system located?
This is in the Buffalo Creek trail system to the southwest of Denver. Links to the trails are in the video description.
I literally just wrote that true
