Magnificent Rickman, almost sounded like that mikuni loaded up? I have a question: My zundapp 6 day has the original really strange brass push/pull petcock, I had it rebuilt " to maintain originality in 99, but it has failed again i.e. leaks. In your expert opinion..is it time to just go modern or ship it out for another rebuild? Thank you in advance for your time🙏
We can look into getting you a new petcock, mine is aftermarket and works well. Yes, the Mukuni loaded up and the motor was flooded. I left the fuel on to long. The bike likes 1-3 minutes of fuel on before firing. I had the fuel on for nearly 10 minutes before, I turned it off, then turned it back on. She could also use a new spark plug, which I install before every race. I also have a 37.5 pilot jet in place of the recommended 35 so I am a little fat down low. Call the shop on that Petcock 208-620-0769
