Not a bike guy, more a vintage snowmobile type but appreciate anything nostalgic. Somebody needs to just buy this, do a few little things but keep the original look. Too many over restored things in all these hobbies.
It costs about $850 in 76 too, and any kid could buy one if they went out to make a little money. Parents need not be involved. No wonder why the sport was so big (over ten time the bike sales of today), in 70's USA.
I had a 1976 Honda CR125. No, it would not eat up an RM 125. It needed that 6 speed transmission in order to keep it in its really narrow powerband. The rear suspension was horrible compared to the RM. Yes, it would go fast in a drag race.
That's a steal for that price
I was a big fan of Suzuki back then,
Thank you for sharing as I love 1970's Suzuki dirt bikes and that's a great price ! 👍 My latest one is a 1978 Suzuki PE175 and absolutely love it !
Wow, that’s a good price! I guess which road the new owner would go depends on whether they want a trailer queen or a great running vintage dirt bike.

I had one of these when I was a kid, Had a lot of good times with her
That's not the OEM silencer
Had a 76 RM, it was a great machine. It was a head snapper!
would rebuild it to the point where it can be raced in vintage races and have fun with it, were awesome bikes in their day
Haven't been to the long beach swap in a few months
I would have bought it in less time than it took to watch this video!
❤❤ me too ❤❤
I’d buy it in a second!!!!
I need it!
HOW MUCH DID THE GUY SAY HE WAS ASKING FOR, WAS IT $850. Or $350.??? IM NOT SURE EXACTLY WHAT HE WAS ASKING FOR!
I'd give him $350 . . . if he'd of at least washed it. He wants $ 850 . . . dirty 😒
'76 not the most popular model...'75 then '77.
76 was an amazing and game changing year for Suzuki Rm
still not a 6-speed...elsinores wood always eat all bikes up...only 6-speed
