  • The wreck was found in 1994 during construction work in the Uelvesbüller Koog, Nordfriesland, Schleswig Holstein, North Germany. It is a flat-bottomed dutch cargo vessel, which could also sail in shallow waters. The dendrochronological examination of the oak wood used in the construction revealed that the keel was laid around 1600. About twenty years later there was an accident off the Adolfskoog: The vessel sank in a tidal channel. After salvage and a two-year stabilisation phase in a sugar solution, the wreck has been on display in the Nordfriesland Maritime Museum in the city of Husum since April 1998.

The picture at the beginning of this video was taken from the hardcover of this book too.
The 3D model has been created in Agisoft Metashape software, based on 300 pictures shot during a short visit to the museum in August 2022.
The 3D model itself can be inspected and downloaded on the Sketchfab site: skfb.ly/oxqnA
