Hi great video, thanks, very informative, the streamer is on my radar so added value for me. However, one of my cameras has a 30 min limit, UK, so former EU import rules and taxes applied at the time of purchase. I want to use this camera as a second angle camera, do you happen to know if the capture card in the streamer will remove 30 min limit? I don’t want to purchase yet another peripheral such as a Ninja recorder tbh, not at the moment at least, cost just runs away! Thanks again.
It won’t remove recording internally to the camera for 30 minutes, but it should last indefinitely on HDMI as long as it doesn’t overheat and has a dummy battery installed
Hi, do you know if the video signal UVC USB output will have the audio mixed in from the XLR inputs of the Streamer X or would it be camera audio or a mix of both? (without the unify running) Also I wonder if this would work with the USB input on something like the yolobox pro . Thanks
Maybe I should give it another chance. Not sure if I should. Kinda thorned between this one, the Nexus, the RC Duo or I simply buy the latest 2I2 from Focusrite.
Okay so i would like to see if this is worth getting for console streamers looking to upgrade like should they get this are the elgato hd60x or this and why of course.
If this supported 4K60 or even the newer HDMI 2.1 4K144Hz game capture it could have saved me a lot of money. I bought the Elgato 4K60 Pro Mk.2 to go in an old PC I had to make a streaming PC. I guess it was to old, no I looked it up, the PC was too old, X79 chipset. I should have sent the Elgato 4K60 back and bought a USB capture device that could do 4K60 capture, but I didn't! Instead I built a new computer, and instead of going with the cheaper AM4 stuff that is end of life, I built a new AM5 PC, so I can upgrade it with old components from the Game PC when I upgrade it. $965.92 total, and that is because I already owned the GPU, Asrock Challenger A380.
Now that’s a lot of info! I also ran into the X79 issue with the cam link pro and the 4k60 pro mk 2. And yeah, I think AVerMedia is the only company as of right now that has released a true HDMI 2.1 capture card
Awesome video! Subscribed instantly! Can you please do the 2 pc setup video with the Rode Streamer X? Would love to see the setup process 😊
Totally! Just put it back in my setup recently actually, so I’ll put it on my list
@@DarkenedCyrus Badass! Looking forward to it!
Hey! You mentioned to create a video about dual pc setup with streamer x - but I can’t find it right away on your channel?

My final question. Am8 or k688? Both fit my budget.
I say K688

I don’t know about the yolobox, but it will pipe through individual sources
More Hudson doing unboxing please! He’s so adorable ❤
Aww! He loves to be in my office and is so interested in what I’m doing. Love getting a chance to have him be a part of a video!

Love the nexus, and support that one if you don’t go rode. If you need that capture card, this is a no brainer
That shirt 💪

Saving this comment for the 2nd video!
Hello, I have not been clear ... with the Rode Streamer X , can I stream playing at 1440 144hz with a single pc?
Yep!
