- The long awaited moment has time to hear the mouse engine make noises. The engine sounds and shows signs of health. I’m happy to hear my creation come to life and scheduled a dyno session to see the actual performance of the engine. Next video will have just that pulls and pulls and numbers and rpm information.
Roaring!! Hell yea! Only new engine I ever owned was a 1641, it was a really great engine. Very nice work as usual!
Thank you very much! Gotta love a relatively small motor that gets the job done
Really nice looking and sounds great too 👍
That engine should move a '59 Ghia really well 😊
That motor sounds great!
The linkages CSP in Germany do are metric also.
That one must be set while engine hot
sounds sooo good !!
Thanks man
Awesome, dude. Love it. Looking forward to dyno.

You are killing it and Your breaking the rules man! The nay sayers are all thinkg it too small of motor for a k8 cam those valves are too small. That compression ratio is too high, what no counterweighted crank? Haha I love it you have killer combos. I'm paying close attention to this one. I love the K8 cam. If you can make power with it, I will try one in a 1776 project I have.
Awesome videos
Ok so i have numbers ready
Glad you agree with stepping outside of the box we have seen lots of things on Dino pulls and I build everything with precious experience in mind what do I really want to do here is make smooth power and reliability fuel economy and longevity
That's sweet ❤ I'm a bit jealous!
Waiting for baby motor time slips or Dyno sheets. 😊
Very soon!

Sick build bro. I need me one of those vintage speed linkage. Also want to put hard lines but I have electric fuel pump. Can I make custom fuel lines? What material, copper tubing?
Yeah you can with silver soldering
Beautiful job on the fuel lines. Are you going to keep the power pulley on the street?
Yes we are always it’s not that small of a pulley it’s perfect
Check you have the correct length pushrod for the fuel pump, if you have the short rod with the wrong pump it won't travel enough to work.
Yeah it’s the long
@@volkstroke was worth an ask, it's caught me out before!
I've got a similar motor in my bug at the moment 1584cc, lightened crank, rods and pistons, 9.9:1, w120, stock size valves with a load of port work, 40 idfs and dual quiet pack, it's great fun for a little motor.
@@jaymcgill5554 yeah that’s what this was going to be but it escalated
@@jaymcgill5554 hell yeah
@@volkstroke what jet combination did you end up with out of interest?
Beautiful build. What do you think of using a Porsche 356 diameter generator pulley to get more fan revolutions for additional cooling? How’s the bodywork on the car coming along?
If I see the need for it I’ll try but seems to be fine
👏👏👏👏
What carbs are those? Great build.
40mm DCNFs
Boa tarde
Qual a folga de valvula
E qual a medida do gicle principal?
.180 pistón to valve clearance
140 main jet was 135
Is that oil pressure gauge part of your test set up or do you put them on all your engines?
It’s part of my testing set up
@@volkstroke sweet as thanks mate
If you are going to redo the fuel lines i have a unused kit you can have
Sick
How much horses you got David? 👏
We just strapped in I’ll know in an hour
100-110ish I guess
@@bearvw1966 102 and without the belt 121
Cool build. But I don't know about pushing past 6k on a stock crank with no counterweights and cast pistons.
Iv had them up to 8 nothing happened
The pistons are actually mahlie but they are cast
The cylinder is a aa
@@volkstroke more concerned about the crank harmonics without counterweights.
@@volkstroke so mahle pistons are cast even though they are advertised as forged?
😎👍
Boa Noite Amigo meu nome é Hedigardi sou morador no Brasil SP
Ficou muito Bom esse motor
É 1641 CC é possível eu comprar as peças e Eu montar o motor Aqui no Brasil
Possible yea

Wrong pump pushrod..
You damaged the pump
Takes a long pump
If it wasn't built you couldn't start it
Yeah it’s a term as like referring to not stock
