    Hi thanks for mentioning us. For basic bezel kits without graphic we are about 2 weeks to 3 weeks out.
    We get a massive amount of orders for for 20” so we put that disclaimer on our site to cover ourselves. Most people should have a kit in under 4 weeks unless it’s a custom cut bezel

    Dang John that was probably my favorite video I've seen so far. The knife, thermal leggings, the cardboard... you had me rolling. The cardboard is a good idea though. The cable coming out from the screen on one of my modded cabinets is shorter than the rest, and it shorted out one of my Pis when my VSDisplay made contact with that back panel. I also believe I fried the screen on that same cabinet. I attempted to connect a PS3 to the VSDisplay, and now that screen of blotchy with rainbow lines covering the screen. So I may be replacing a monitor as well. Anyways great video John!

    Excellent job. This is definitely a job for someone with the know how and skills to do it. Unfortunately I don’t have those skills. I just got a Buck Hunter and bought the Tulsi Arcade kit. Paid more but at least it’ll be done correctly.

    Yessir, did this from a space invaders bezel from 2dai4's tutorials. Used the brackets he recommended to add further support so monitor doesn't fall back as that 2007FPB has some heft to it. Great vid man!

    • @evilgeniusentertainment
      @evilgeniusentertainment  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you kindly Earth Monster - I actually filmed this video a couple of months ago, and that screen hasn't moved a millimeter. Gorilla tape is a (cheap) modder's best friend! Now when it gets hot and humid in a couple of months, I wonder if it'll move then, but for now that tape is working remarkably well.

    • @EarthMonsterAZ
      @EarthMonsterAZ 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@evilgeniusentertainment yeah I hear you. I live in Arizona, where it hits 115-118 degrees Fahrenheit. Any and all tape loses it's hold so I had to be safe. But the monitor makes a huge difference from the stock 1up monitor. 👍

      It was 70 here today and I about died! Yeah, you wouldn't think that 3" could make such a big difference, but it really does on fighting games and horizontal beat 'em ups. Oddly enough, the games it helps most are for the Atari 2600. Super crisp and the exact right aspect ratio. Hope that A1up starts to offer larger screens on their 4 player games at the very least.

      Those Dell's really are nice. The cheaper one looks pretty close to the FP; either one superior to the stock screen. Honestly, A1up should be putting in bigger screens into their fighting & 4 player cabs. The 17" screens fine for the vertical game though....

    I would rather keep the bezel and fit it flush underneath the marquee at a straight 90 degree angle then recess the stock monitor. I would even go a step further and face the stock monitor at an angle below the back of the bezel and get a piece of two-way mirrored plexiglass and angle it inside of the cab to match the screen angle of incidence to project the mirrored 3D screen image just like the arcade cab. Since you can’t flip the video image on the monitor your score and text will be backwards but you can just swap the X/Y cable harness on the joystick to compensate so you can still control it normally. 😉

      @@evilgeniusentertainment I looked at the description of that encoder board, and it looked like the input was the HDMI/VGA ports, and like the output was the wires that go from Arcade1up PCBs to Arcade1up montiors.
      You're making it sound like the HDMI/VGA ports are the outputs that can go into the Dell monitor, and the Arcade1up-PCB-compatible wires are the inputs. Can the encoder board really go either/or (i.e. either from-PCB-to-VGA, or from-VGA-to-Arcade1up-monitor)??
      I'm interested because, several months ago, my Centipede 4-in-1 Partycade got the White Screen of Death, and I'm weighing my options about what to do about it. One of the things I'm considering is replacing the LCD monitor.
