Hey there! After listening to your journey I realized that I am in the same exact scenario. Also, did you give GMAT?

i am struggling at this point in my life ! i have been working for three years and after a long thinking i realized i didn't want to do this anymore
i am scared of this dramatic change since i have no idea what im getting myself into !
this really helped i don't know many people who did this too
but do you have suggestions were MBA is better as a more open path or MHA ?
    THANK YOU SO MUCH

Hey I'm glad you found the video useful! It was a huge change and it paid off but I was also super committed to it so it's got a lot to do with your mindset and need to make a change. If you really want to change, I think anything is possible. In terms of which programme - if you want to stay in healthcare an MHA seem obvious but then you kinda have to stay in the field. If you want to explore other fields, then MBA. Im glad i did MBA, I now work in youth development and recruitment which I never would've been able to do with a MHA. Good luck, it's never too late to change!

Hi Liz, I’m currently an emergency department RN and very burnt out. Do you think attending an Online MBA program from a t10 school in the US could help with a career pivot?
I would love to do a full time program but with a family I cannot forgo a salary from being a RN (US pays comfortably).

Hey there, I can break up my answer in two. I think an online MBA is worth a shot if you can dedicate the time and the finances it needs. The second part if it will actually help a career pivot is more complex. If you have management experience it's easier to find work but I struggled for a couple of months because no one knew what to do with a nurse with an MBA, it's not very common. In one of our local business schools they offer a Healthcare MBA but then you stay in the field. So depends on your current experience and interests to know what your opportunities will be after - hope I'm making sense!?

Hey, am I understanding correctly that you want to give up your MBA studies to study nursing? The only thing I can really say here is that you never know what the future holds and I'd rather complete one qualification rather than quitting halfway. I wanted to quit in my 2nd year of nursing but glad I didn't. What makes you want to switch?

how many month did you take classes@@lizfuzy Did you also apply for top schools? like NYA or IESE , Stanford?

@@dominicusbenacus@dominicusbenacus hey! I did a full-time MBA so one year, many schools offer it online over one or two years. I only applied at local schools in my country because our exchange rate is not good so international courses are quite expensive!
