Honestly people need to collect more data and do more analysis, that's been the biggest thing I've seen burn people in my circles. What you measure, you can improve.
The "secret Sauce" is YOU! Definitely resonate with the whole if you try to make a channel you are not passionate about it, you will begin to hate it and eventually stop. So true. Thats why I shifted my channel now verses later.
Jay-I watch all your videos. 😊 I appreciate your thoughtful approach. I have to say I loved this one as the questions that were asked and answered were so practical. Gave me lots to think about. Thank you!
Love your content . I’m somewhat stuck at a point of not knowing what to do next on my channel . I am a variety content creator . Skilled in editing but just not sure where to start again with my creative mind and aim
55:09 what a stunningly beautiful statement, as well as an correct one, imho, from the perspective of a loving husband and dad-to-be. Wishing you and your family the best!!! I KNEW there was a reason I enjoyed you and now I can see that the “vibe” I was catching from you was completely accurate.🥰
I have so much passion for playing games, and really want to live off doing it. So making reviews seems to be the best way. But my concept takes up a lot of time, but i think it brings the viewer value and insight in if they should buy a game or not and i like telling people about games i have found and enjoyed. I think i could make something great, if i could spend all my time doing it, but i have economic obligations that wont allow me to just drop everything an go for it!
I went through channels I subscribe to and after counting there were five I watch because it is them! Amazing that seems kind of universal. Loyalty built is interesting!
I have a golf channel with just over 1,000 subs but I want to expand into making videos about all areas of my life. Meaning I want to make videos about my life in general, other sports, fishing, etc. Should I start a whole other channel for that or just post everything on my channel that has golf only videos so far? If I stick with the same channel, should I begin posting those other videos now so my audience isn’t too niche later on, or should I start as a golf niche and expand out later once my channel is bigger? I hope all that makes sense lol
How do you handle zero views and zero impressions ? Niche is on Getting TH-cam viewers and title, description, tags etc are the same as videos with over 1m views
@@jay I recently took all my business content of my main TH-cam channel and re branded back to the stuff people originally liked as it was confusing for the two audiences. That makes sense, I think that’s the way to go. Thanks for your great content, one of the best channels about TH-cam growth on here 👏
I have a channel where I Posted videos for 8 months, got less then 100 subs, then promoted a video resulting in 1.5k subs. But finally when I post now, I hardly get 10 views. Shud I continue with channel or abandon it
Idk I’m still not sold on shorts… I’ve seen too many creators who have a lot of viral views from shorts and really good long form content, but the long videos don’t get the views they deserve.
I Imagine doing your videos in English and everyone will be ok with that but Americans won't be watching because you have an accent. Who cares, the English speaking community is big enough.

Your channel has quickly turned into one of the few I won’t miss a video on. Appreciate what you do!

Love the authenticity of hitting deadlines. I 💯 get that from my live podcast tours to sponsors.
Keep going, Jay!

Random observation:
I like how Jay occasionally touches his heart. You ever notice that?
I see it as a sign of care for the message.
Definitely an unintentional/natural thing 😅

thank you so much!
Super powerful, like almost all the things you talk about in this video is what I have been struggling with.
it has to work or it has to work 💯
More of this 🎉
Deal!

This was GREAT! Really interesting to get the editor's and the creator's point of view.
Glad you enjoyed it!

This is so helpful. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
"A refrigerator hum level of anxiety, just all of the time!" LOL! I have bad tinnitus, adding the idea of a refrigerator hum to that! 🤣
very helpful format! also i think you and Conor have a good vibe!
Glad you enjoyed it!
"Old Mac computer" "2014". Thanks, I feel 10 years older.
In reference to the outdoor channel I have a fishing channel and the views vary depending on what type of fish I’m catching which is crazy to me lol
I love this kind of episodes 🎉
Awesome! We were wondering if people like Office Hours episodes like this
Go Cubs!

What’s your thoughts on creating multiple channels for different interests you have?
If they are intended for different audiences, multiple channels is the way to go. A whole lot of work though!

I’m done worrying. If youtube never pays me, I have 3 other sources of income and that’s the greatest youtube freedome a creator can have.
Right…. You will probably make more content and have more success with this attitude .. so freeing

I'm from Northern Ireland and no one can understand me, i use subtitles so English folk can understand me 😂
Just realized im not subbed to you! What am i doing with my life lol.
you’re here now!
