Do you want more videos like this where we answer your questions?
Yes please, 💯
I really enjoy your videos 👍
Yes pls!
Absolutely
Super helpful! Yes please 🙏🏼
A pro tip is to incorporate strategic storytelling in your intros. This not only hooks listeners but also subtly positions your brand's value proposition, leading to higher engagement and retention rates.
Thank you so much for the shout out and for answering my question! This was very helpful, also I usually listen in my car but I'm glad I came to the video this time. I had no idea that Conor had such a glorious mustache. This made my day.
It’s next level!
This video is so helpful. I’m relatively new to the TH-cam game and one of my videos popped off and went viral (for me) which don’t get me wrong is so great, but the video has definitely brought a lot of a broader audience to my narrow niche. I’m 100% still going to keep making what I think is high value content to build my community slowly rather than chase another viral hit. Keep up the great work, needed this video today 🙏🏻
Congrats on that video's success! You'll figure it out. Glad you're enjoying the video.
This is hands down my favorite TH-cam channel. You guys have provided so much value to me and my team. I’ve personally consumed over 10hrs of your content. My new TH-cam dream is to be big enough to be interviewed by Jay. Thank you for everything you both do.
Messages like this mean a lot! My dad and I do a lot of fishing - recently we've gotten into charters and more exotic catches. We were in Key West about a year ago!
@@CreatorScienceYTI mean it brother, you’ve been so helpful. Some of my favorite memories are from fishing with my dad. I’d be happy to take you out on the water if you’re ever near Palm Beach County!
OMG YES! I had 1 shorts video blow-up and I noticed when Shorts blow up, those people are not necessarily long form video watchers.
Oh yeah - definitely not!
Love this episode, Jay! Just finished the entire thing. I personally love these Q&A's from you. As an aspiring creator I am constantly looking for friends to process the thoughts that you hit on so well within these. It validates that side of being a creator that is often neglected by people who just don't understand / get it. I could listen to a 3+ hour episode of just these Q&A's and getting a glimpse into your world. It's also super encouraging.
I can't believe how helpful this was. There's SO MUCH advice for beginners out there that to hear some solid intermediate advice was such a fresh thing to hit my ears.
Producer Connor is a great co-host with all the knowledge he dropped as well. Thanks for putting this out there.
Took a ton of notes. Thanks!
Great video guys. I find the Q&A element super helpful. If the episode and questions being answered could be structured around a theme or series of related questions, I think this could be helpful for those going through your catalogue as the viral element in the thumbnail was only a starting point, and I found the other sections more helpful to me personally - I guess because I subscribe and know all your episodes are great I was in it for the whole episode and happy to see where it went, but a bit more of a theme might be something to consider for future episodes like this. Keep up the great work!
Finally finished watching it! Great content. Tried the link to the notion template through 3 x browsers - only one works, turns out it's an issue with the redirects on my end. Doh! Would really like more of these Q&As, please let Connor out of the basement more often. ;)
Cheers man, thanks for giving me a place to learn while I’m obsessing over how to succeed-we are in these starting months on TH-cam.
Keep going!
I’ve literally watched every episode since the Paddy interview and they’ve all been fed to me through browse. And I’m JUST NOW subscribing…this comment is my acknowledgment that you earned this sub a LONG time ago and idk what took me so long 😂
ayyy glad to hear it! welcome!
Theory is learned, Insight is earned. Thank you so much for answering my questions guys. Appreciate yall!
Thanks for the question!
Thank you Jay and Connor for answering my question! I appreciate you guys taking the time to do this, it's really helpful.
super useful, thanks a lot for sharing your thoughts!
Glad it was helpful!
Your stuff always SLAPS Jay! Thanks for sharing what you do. I come visit your channel weekly.
love to hear that!
Amazing Channel! Keep it up!👍👍❤️
This is also something I'm confused about. If I post a short it won't go viral, but it brings me maybe 5 subscribers. If I would post everyday a similar short, I would grow 1825 subscribers in a year. I think this is quite good, but no one talks about this. Everyone hunts the viral shorts
Slow and steady is a great approach - for both long-form and short form.
Love this! Great content!! Good luck everyone!
It took me a bit to get into this video but I love the experiments! Great advice as always, keep being awesome Jay :) Also, hi Conor, nice to meet you!
Thanks for the feedback!
Great video podcast thanks
Thanks for listening!
There's a few channels that I watch that I consider solid when it comes to this. There's like 3 and this is one of them.
That means a lot!
Loved this! More please 🙏😊
I’m so glad i found your channel, very informartive.
Looking forward to use whats usuful to my channel.
Fantastic video and I’m just at the beginning. Thank you!! 🎉❤
Glad you’re enjoying it!
This video is criminally underrated, thank you Jay!
Glad you enjoyed it!
4th time listening to this episode. Just so much to unpack
Hey Jay & Conor great Video. I'm curious why you went with that title "How to Make a Killer Podcast Intro " ? I am currently working for a Podcast YT channel so it was vert valuable but the rest isn't very resonating me.
We're experimenting! We've tried a few packages. For a long-form Q&A episode like this, packaging is a challenge. We decided to lead with one specific question rather than be vague about what questions we talk about throughout.
thanks for the insight & good luck! I will take notes of what you'll end up with 😌@@CreatorScienceYT
Second, shout-out to both from Brazil

I post 1 long form and 1 short a week. 3/4 of my subs are from shorts and honestly I wander if that hurts my channel sometimes
For me short brings a lot of audience and I get to know what I am all about and some of them stay for long form but I think both are equally important. We just shouldn't expect all the people coming from shorts to stay for long form.
I think the problem is with us creators. We are expecting the wrong things

With over 12 years of youtube experience, even I took some value fromt this.
Thanks for watching!
