My Dad (a Canadian Officer) was loved by his men because he never asked/expected them to do anything he wouldn't do himself AND he led from the front. Have a feeling this C of H is cut from the same cloth.
Frisky grey today. Nope 👎 nope and no. Love how the other 2 riders try to help. 4:24 then C of H the boss man comes out with the grey leading him of the parade ground. No messing with the boss man around. Now I'm off to stables for my haynet. 😊
Its time it was said. There is something wrong/upsetting these horses this year. Of all the years Ive watched this Ive never seen these horses so easily spooked and flighty as they are this year.
Horses have minds of their own also there has been a lot of construction near there this spring. I've had horses that never spook but someday they really don't want messed with.
I’ve owned horses and yes they spook but this is not a safe space for horses in London and needs to be looked into or some one is going to be killed. 😢
When I see videos of the household cavalry mostly there are one or two horses not comfortable. They are always accompanied by police officers and their horses are calm and reliable. Is my assumption right that at the police horse and officer are an unchangeable team and the cavalry horses have often different soldiers to ride them?
Its very common to train a younger horse with more seasoned horses. He could be a less seasined horse being trained. There reallly is no better way to get a new horse used to what they will be asked to do.

They have too many disobedient horses. Seems like they need to add some different training techniques. This is just defiant bad behavior. One horse OK. Horse after horse not OK😢.
The Grey horse was feeling his oats today! Kudos to rider for staying on. As an equestrian I know it's not always easy.

I think it's the tourists / spectators - people are too pushy and selfish. Horses can sense things.

The rider is in enough danger riding 1 handed and carrying a sword without having to deal with constantly misbehaving horses. Feeling crabby today 😌

These horses are fine horses are like anyone else someday are just not in good mood
