This is why I am building White Woods with Melodious.
Refrain and Couplet provides the pendulum plays for the White girls to play around the scenario where your normal is negated, and due to Melodious being able to turbo out special summons like it’s nothing, I have always been able to summon out Apollousa to shield my other plays from Nibiru.
Droll isn’t an issue because Melodious pre Legacy of Destruction did not search whatsoever, so there is that to mitigate cards like Droll and Deck Lockdown. Being able to fuse Soprano and other Melodious materials into Schuberta or Bloom Diva is decently good, particularly with Schuberta’s grave removal and Bloom Diva’s battle and effect immunity. On top, Shifter wouldn’t matter as much because I can still go off and combo off via Sonata, Canon and/or Ostinato.
Melodious provides a lot of gears if one form of interruption arises.
Still testing, but so far I am loving the Melodious flavor in White Forest.
The deck is actually pretty crazy for a rogue option, got droll backed to back in play testing and still was able to setup a decent board especially with the toy box engine pretty much plays through ash and imperm
if you have silvy its not bad under droll.
you can do silvy add woes.
Sync off silvy and hugin for coral dragon
place ur fountain, and set woes
Activate woes on their turn to summon elzette from deck and sync for diabell.
Diabell adds back a runick spell or woes + u draw 1 off coral
diabell effect discard a spell/trap to special silvera. silvera on summon eff. c2 elzette to add back to hand. (you can also reset woes if u add it + discard)
Nice little combo under droll that still gets u a decent board + draw and follow up for next turn
The thing is about hype is we read these cards and they do read good. I feel like that's were we should let it stand. Let them come out with more sets and see where the cards are at in the formats to come
The level 4 tuner effects are negated when they summon themselves from the graveyard. Making iris viable. The level 6 syncro can search iris. It helps make the calamity lock faster but also iris effect on the field does come in handy

game 2 Yubel player really fumbled the combo. when he revived Spirit with Yama he was suppose to destroy the Sharvara to get out of the fiend lock. idk if it would change much since all the opponent needed was a destruction or curses to deal with it before using evenly.

Idk a whole lot about Yubel but wouldn't he have been better off using Tract's fusion effect and not make Necroquip? At least he could have made Yama at some point and went from there.

There's no way this guy's hand was fiendsmith engraver, samsara lotus, and he ended on Apollousa phantom pass...
The Apollousa was summoned off the fiendsmith so all he did with his lotus was make phantom and muckraker basically 💀💀💀💀

the runick fusion was negated so the iris was a legal summon lol
@@KamonYGO Iris needs a monster with its effects negated ON THE FIELD. Hugin was in the GY at that point. Clearly an illegal summon, the judges are clowns for not seeing this.
