Here we go players!!!... the best two in-archetype cards for their respective decks are "Ritual beast Tamer Shifter", "Spiritual Beast Protos", and "Tenpai Dragon Purulia", "Tenpai Dragon Dogwood" Good game duelist!!!
I mean, Not for nothing, dogwood was used for its literal intended purpose & when dogwood & purulia are stacked like that, RB could have 100% chosen to not play through it the way they did. It was unnecessary
Haven’t kept up with yugioh since GX but I seem to recall summoning 1 monster per turn was the norm. This video that got recommended to me just threw me for a loop
Thank good that the Ritual Beast Player lost. I feel Like in every single Feature Match His plays were messed Up. He literally Made more illegal plays than legal plays. After the third Feature it Felt intentional for me. He Put His cards in wrong Locations (gy, banish), summoned multiple names multiple Times, He Changed zones, Changes summon Materials, summons Monsters He is Not allowed to summon and so in and so on constantly. The tenpai Player Played the cleanest on Stream He deserves the win in my opinion. And also raigeki is a based Card xD
Too be fair, Tenpai requires little brainpower. Ritual Beast requires a lot, and I mean a lot, of thinking. Ritual beast requires a lot of functioning braincells to pilot, so it's not weird that even the most talented players would make mistakes with it. It's not like Tenpai, Snake Eyes, etc. That require no to little thinking.
Based on the other games on stream, where he never tried to tag for 2, it was clearly accidental. He had the link banished and the line was to tag into the link and then the link tag into 2. Time Pressure & Spooky Dogwood clearly had him rushing to get his play done and he skipped a step.
@MistBestWaifu I complain about them complaining too. The cycle never ends, lol. One of my favorite things to talk about this, is the card design. No matter what it does, they complain. Is it great? "It's too good and needs to be balanced." Is it balanced? "Why is it not broken? It's trash." Is it bad? "Why is this bad here? Give me something broken!" Again, the cycle never ends.

The ruling was wrong in my opinion - the card states that each EFFECT can be used once per turn - banishing to protect is not an effect activation. Only the first and third part of the description are card effects. It's just like Chengying protection, except it banishes itself instead of other cards, so a single copy can't be used more than once per turn.
@@ivicapavic3381 Why do you think that effect to banish and protect isn't an actual effect? You still trying to use an effect to protect. It being activated or not is irrelevent And for your example with Chengying it's different because his restriction says "You can only use THIS effect of "Swordsoul Supreme Sovereign - Chengying" once per turn." referring to last effect which is banish 2 cards. Effect to protect himself by banishing GY card doesn't have an restriction
You put back the same number of cards your opponent controls +6 RB player had 4 cards so+6 is 10 Esteban would only shuffle back if he had 10 or more cards in had but I believe he ended turn with only 9 cards in hand
If he did that he has 0 follow up for the next turn and he could have take an imperm too on protos that let him wirh just apollousa (sorry for m'y english i'm french xD)
For those rooting for Julio, let's not pretend that Ritual Beast getting 2nd place is still an incredible achievement! They played better than every single player in the tourney except for Esteban.

@@EmmanuelFreytes while reaching that stage is an accomplishment of its own, playing so much in just 2 days is tiring enough to make you misplay despite reaching said stage. He had imperm as well, but he also had a line where he could have stuck protos with Gaiapelio and 2 names in hand.
