The level of skill development that can be had riding in BC. Ontario just doesn't have it. Miss BC madly, but glad I can enjoy vicariously through vids like these. Your blasting these trails, awesome set of skills, DD. Shred on, Sir, Shred on.
Love your stuff, Dave! I'm living vicariously. My adrenalin junkie son has that same gremlin giggle when he's doing his thing and scaring the pants off me. I have a gray hair for every giggle, but I love watching him live a life full of adventure.
Just found your channel few days ago, literally binge watching every single one, your the man bro, I love downhill and bmx✌, mad love from New Zealand 🖤
Watching this back again, it’s that good. And probably again and again. Wicked when the vibe is on point like this. You’re rolling hard in these vids and VanCan up front is straight hauling, no slack!
That first clip, some serious balance right there, props. Rest of the clips, good stuff, but I swear you've included that stuff towards the end with Nick in a previous edit.
I think the Greasy Death Skinny is the most impressive thing I've seen you ride - I know how slick (and unridden) those skinnies are when they are covered in a fine moss!
I'm hopeful that a legend for all of the various symbols and colors can be included at some point. I can't go biking anymore so I'm vicariously living through these vids. No more adrenaline-pounding or movement based things for me unfortunately, so these are great!
I want to do this SOOO BADLY, How do I get started? (Gear, how to practice, where to go, resources for information, anything I might be overlooking, etc.) Love the videos, thanks for helping me realize I have a passion for something I’ve never tried before!
Great to hear! I haven't looked through these videos as I started riding long before TH-cam was around, but GMBN has several videos aimed at new riders: th-cam.com/video/watydoWbqHg/w-d-xo.html
This guy has a "Tom Cruise" laugh. I bet when he get's home, he jumps all over the sofa, watching this back. Awesome vid, such skill here, nicely done 👍
Something must be in the air - Dale did the Tour de Burke last week, and you do the Tour de Seymour this week. Anyway, loved the compendium! Not sure if you’d agree or not, but I noted on Dale’s vid this week that your conditioning seems to have improved. P.S. loved that highway barrier skinny ride when you posted it to Instagram, and still love it now. My wife and kids agree!
Mudhugger Evo. I like it. Provides way more coverage than the short, flexible ones most people use. Check their website for dealers: www.themudhugger.co.uk/
@@kylegoplin I'll make a video soon :) I will tell you that I edit and color correct my footage in Adobe Premiere, and that my camera settings will only be useful to you if you are also going to color correct in a program like Premiere or Resolve.
As a non mountain biker, and not using cameras much, are you going as fast as it looks like you are? Because if so I’m completely amazed that you don’t slip out on the wet parts. I do ride BMX on street and have ridden some like incredibly basic trails on a real shit mountain bike, so I know how wet dirt feels, so how on earth can you go so fast
I like to imagine that he only has the front half of the bike and just runs around with it in the forest
WHY AM I STILL LAUGHING MAN
Lmfaoooooo
That is such a funny thing to imagine lmao

@@wpsean_ts7131 ...so? Want a cookie? Plus, I was here at 26...
I've come to learn that the laugh means, "im in danger" along with "this is fun"
hahaha!
1:25 every time I see that log I always wonder if anyone rides it down....
i love his little joyfull laughter :D
The guy up front is pretty neat
Watching this makes me realize how boring my home trails are, this is so dreamy!
We may as well be on the road eh haha. Dave is a beast I'm sure he is part cat with that balance of his.
Same tbh
right bro, like the ultimate experience lol

I don't ride at all nor do I plan to, but watching these videos is so relaxing
Scary! Your laughter is that of a gremlin, watch out it’s almost midnight!! 🤣😋🦉

I’m the exact same
Welcome, and thank you!
Watching this back again, it’s that good. And probably again and again.
Wicked when the vibe is on point like this. You’re rolling hard in these vids and VanCan up front is straight hauling, no slack!
This feels like so long ago lol
You guys are awesome!! really enjoy watching you, dale and vancan rip trails up while having a great time.. that’s what it’s all about
Thank you once again for letting us ride with you. A lot of those fast trails with jumps and less rocks look like so much fun.
I've watched enough of your videos to recognize your, "hahaha I could've died if I'd been a second off my timing" laugh.
It's really cool to see a lot of courses and not just the black diamonds. Awesome to see all that this mountain can offer. :)
That first clip, some serious balance right there, props. Rest of the clips, good stuff, but I swear you've included that stuff towards the end with Nick in a previous edit.
Those are some durable tires
i just found your channel the other week and i can’t stop watching! amazing riding :]

That CBC trail looks nuts! You guys have some amazing trails out there, the builders have obviously put a lot of time in.

Fantastic footage to “clean out the hard drive”
The camera is in such a perfect place every video. Where do you have it mounted?
I’m gonna give it a guess and say on the chin of his helmet
Chin mount is correct. Hoping to make a video of that soon 👍
Awesome riding as always, keep it up 👏
Woah you are just flying down the trails!! 🤯🤯 this is nuts! And that's the last time we see cbc like it was before... 😄
Wow! love the footage nice and long and sketchy
Simply masterful riding.
keep filling up that hard drive, this video was a treat!
Dude you are a Video Game!, Amazing stuff

That laugh, that damned laugh 😈🤣
true! Great footage 🎞
When ur doing a drop with slow speed like those techy rock drops are u just doing a pedal crank and shoving the bike out in front of u? Wheelie drop
Tell Dale to start shooting in 4K24 too pls, looks great!
How do you manage to get such steady recording? It should be all shaky considering the stunts you are doing.
Was that Dr Nick that you were riding with?
Dave seriously please make a few technique videos. Your skill is out of this world, if use mortals had a fraction of your skills we would be crushing.
I swear I won't have any nails left if I keep watching your videos.
Sick!!!
Amazing!👌
That Pingu section with Nick was fast. Curious if you are on Strava and how fast that was compared to KOM times.
love to know the names of the places you are ridding
thx
CBC looks tough but so fun
whats your fender, where can i buy, is it good?

Your ‘leftovers’ would fit on anybody else’s highlight reel. 11:58 "Just hemorrhaging dabs."
What does that mean?
New hd time Dave!
6:18 if that's a blue then I have no business riding any run of any color, lol
Great footage 👍Do you drive 27.5 or 29 wheels?
what are your gopro settings
Hey dave is your bike Carbon or Aluminum
Do you have a trail forks account?
What tires do you run ?

The GoPro effect is a real thing, and it actually makes things look slower and less steep / difficult / technical than they really are!
Hes actually going faster than the camera lol
Wow
the video is great and all but the wind sound really bothers me
I started using a windscreen a few months ago. Listening to this old footage makes me realize just how much of an improvement it's made 🤣
What state is this?
if I were you I would get a external hard drive for 1 tb they are pretty cheap.
Weird how u never see animals in these woods 🤔🤔🤔
me watching this at 1.5 speed: 😎
Ha, I would be "haemorrhaging dabs, a lot. And then blood, probably.
