Hey! Brazilian fan here, have you guys seen this “new” airsoft brand Rossi? It’s a brazilian brand founded in 1889 producing real and air guns, in 2020 they’ve entered the airsoft scenario, also helping the Brazilian airsoft community acquire Novritsch products like the ssp18 cuz our import laws are a PAIN for airsof. They have some really nice 1911 hi-capa (Black Devil 5.1 and Redwings series) and Glock of their own(R-17), and some very nice AEGs as well! (Neptune pdw, 8” and 10” and some hk-416 as well) Would love to see you guys test it if possible!!!
The Neptunes if I'm not wrong are just a rebranding Rossi made from Specna Arms, so they could re-sell here and changed metal receiver with a polymer one to make the price more affordable since airsoft in Brazil is expensive as f*ck.
Excellent video. I have a fully upgraded AAP as well. But completely different from yours. It is a shame the original folding stock does not work on this CTM Grip. Hope they upgraded it at some point. Which iron sight are you using in your gun? I couldn't find anywhere! Many thanks.
Can someone tell me what are those extra parts that come with the ctm holster? Also, I experienced a lot of flex with the clamp, it makes the holster tilt whit the weight of the pistol.
Hummmm I think for that case you can get steel internals, and you will need some up grades to that awful hop up . Do it step by step~ and you will see the difference
@@4UADSmartAirsoft It would be nice to get an exact parts list you used on this build. There is a part you replaced thats not specified up above. Swapped out an aluminum part with a more sturdy metal one, you used a magnet in the video to show (18:22). Not sure whats thats called. So this is why a list would be nice.

I know Cyma,Arkturus and high priced Tokyo Marui check also We-tech couse they do quality stuff. Usually the problem comes from the fire control group~, I would highly recommend the full CNC control group set from COW COW, the best solution so far....
Thanks buddy, thank you for supporting us since the beginning! Glad you liked it :D Just finished filming our new grading system, will begin editing soon! Stay tuned!
for budget builds I would highly recommend cowcow hammer and sear set/ action army cnc hop up set/ CTM light weight bolt. With those three parts this gun will out perform the most of pistols

Sure would be cool if you could do that. There is this one RC truck made by traxxas called the slash, it has such a massive aftermarket community that you can build a complete one with only 3rd party parts. And people have done it.
the problem with the aap is that what so many people commend it on, its value for money, is only good stock. the second you want a bit of metal on there then all value goes out the window. i would rather buy a WE galaxy (which is coming with the metal upper as standard, as you should expect from the price difference) and give it some internal upgrades which will end up costing less than a metal aap and will outperform it.
Honestly this is really, really not the case. Even with upgrades it takes a lot to make the Galaxy perform anywhere near the AAP01. You need to completely swap out the hopup to a TTI CNC, the barrel, and bucking, and then you're still going to find just okay performance. The Galaxy metal upper is also not all that nice, and there's cheapish uppers like the GBL for AAP (~100 USD). At the end to get the Galaxy performing as well an as AAP you're going to be at the same price or more, than after that there's less aftermarket options for customization.
@@GaosenKinetics I disagree. You might wanna get that cnc hop chamber but the stock rubber and barrel are pretty much on par with the aap (if not the galaxy has a slightly better rubber but realistically the difference is minimal). I'm looking at the prices available to me so we talking about £80 for an aap and £125 for a galaxy, that hop chamber is like £40 (I think the one on the place I would buy also has barrel and rubber included in that price) so we are looking at around 165 call it £175 for the galaxy (either with stock barrel and rubber or one included in the hop chamber kit) with postage. Now I want a metal upper for my aap, that another 90-100 pounds at least, already we are at 180-190 with postage, now if I want hop upgrades then the price is only going up. Yes the aap has more aftermarket parts but if we harken back to my original point of one of its biggest selling points being value for money, as we can see that value is now not looking so promising as soon as we try and get some metal on there. I'm not a fanboy for the galaxy or anything, in fact I have both and enjoy them both but the value for the aap really is only good when we are looking at it stock. (apologies for any typos or things that don't make sense, typing in phone)
@@4UADSmartAirsoft true, and if that's the route you wanna go then by all means, I just feel that the good value of the aap is kinda diminished once we start talking external upgrades. Still a nice little pistol tho
@@clockwork6966 No, the Galaxy stock hop chamber is very bad. It is poorly and cheaply designed; your hop setting wanders, it does not hop nearly as well as the AAP01 stock, it has to be adjusted with a screwdriver, it takes non-standard rubbers and barrels. It's also pointlessly heavy. Honestly everything about it is bad. Also the diff versions of the Galaxy have slightly diff dimensions for the hopup so you can't freely swap between 1911/G-series versions; I don't know the specific justification for this but I have trouble believing it couldn't have been overcome by better design. So the Galaxy + CNC hopup (remember you'll also *need* to buy a new rubber and barrel since the Galaxy uses non-standard ones) are what is required to even have a decently performing gun. Galaxy is 125 GBP, CNC hopup alone is 45 GBP from a quick check, barrel for ~14 GBP, hopup rubber for 9 GBP. So about 193 GBP, and at that point your about equal in performance to the stock AAP01. You've got a metal upper but it's kinda meh. If you're happy with your Galaxy that's great, but there's a reason that AAP01 are sold out everywhere most of the time, and the Galaxy is if anything periodically on sale since they can't get rid of them and stores just want to not take a loss.
