Hot Tacoma Blackmouth Bite Ends with BROKEN KAYAK PEDALS and Downrigger Snag!

This was my first time fishing in marine area 13. Really cool to fish right by the Tacoma narrows. The bite was pretty hot to start with, but the day ended with some bad luck. My distressed idler cable pulley gave out and I snagged my downrigger shortly after.
Still great to hit the water. Still looking for my first 2024 keeper!

4lb. I find it light for chinook. I’d rather use 6, but I’d have to upgrade the down rigger.

Thanks! Good question. Are you referring to GoPro or fish finder batteries? One is fine for the fish finder. But I typically go through 2-3 GoPro batteries. I have 7 or 8 for long trips but rarely use more than 5. They seem to also about 1.5 hours.
