Awesome video, Elise! I love the way you put everything together: from the music to the editing. I enjoy your channel, and it’s obvious you put a lot of love into it. Thank you for the book review!
I love animal friends of Pica Pau Elise! About 6 months ago you introduced me to these gorgeous books and I ordered them a while ago, and they are amazing! I have made Sebastian the lion from the second book and the crocodile from the first book! They are so cute! Xx
@@EliseRoseCrochet Yes I've seen some of the new designs for the 3rd pica pau book!!! They look so awesome ! These sausage dog is so cute and I love the seagull! Do you think you could please do a review style video like this one, but for the new book when it is released? Xx
I spotted your first amigurumi that you can't find. Look behind you. LOL I absolutely love your videos. I bought the book and am about to embark on my journey. Thanks for your inspiration.
I got the new Animal Friends of Pica Pau 2 for Christmas and have already made the zebra, the sloth and the goat. I love the pattern designer, Jan Schenkel, and i also like to match her colors because she is so creative. Thank you for your insights. 😊
Holy moly!! You've already made three just since Christmas!! Wow! And I also like to match her colors because hers are always soooooo gorgeous!! Have you seen her new yarn line??
I love your love for your cat and these wounderful little toys. You are very inspirational. I just knitted a puppy for my sisters grandbaby and now another sister wants me to knit a dinosaur for her daughters baby. I had mixed emotions knitting the dog. But after it was done seeing its cuteness made me feel more excited about knitting another toy. They are so fun. Now finding you helps me get even more excited about getting on this toy wagon.
Elise, GIRL, you slay me! I was laughing SO hard!! I'm really glad you didn't edit out that almost bad word... it's okay to be human. I do love your enthusiasm! If we were neighbors, we'd probably have to wear Depends, cuz we'd be laughing so hard so often we'd (well, you know!)... I adore the Pica Pau critters, too. For now, I'm on dolls & doll clothes. Sending love out to you, Elise.
Elise, I was LOL at your "what the heck" comment. You were very good at catching yourself. I'm sorry to say I am not always that proficient ... sigh. Years ago I wanted to order Animal Friends of Pica Pau and for me it was also the adorable frog. Back then I decided not to order due to intimidation...just couldn't believe I could whip up one of those critters. But...today you talked me into it. :)) So I ordered books one and two and can hardly wait to receive them. Your little animals are adorable and beautifully made. Thanks for sharing so much good stuff with us!
Lol!!! I'm so glad you got over your fear and ordered the Pica Pau books (you know she has a new one coming out in November!!!! 😱) Just remember that it doesn't have to be perfect! Enjoy the process! 💚
Lovely video as always, Elise!! Thank you for encouraging me to take up crocheting a few weeks ago! I have since made a pincushion for my embroidery needles and an amigurumi figurine and they both turned out great! I'm really excited for the Pica Pau books, they look so stunning! I also recently started knitting the hare from the knitted animal friends book, thank you for your review of it, I love the book so so much. Have a nice weekend!
I got to help pattern test the spider monkey for book #2, it was a very fun experience! I raise Nigerian Dwarf goats, and from your story, it sounds like your goat experience was an unfortunate sampling of a goat that needs fences and constructive things to do. I sincerely hope you get a better experience with good goats someday, they can be a real joy! ~Deb
Oh how fun!!! I bet that was a wonderful experience. She is a magnificent amigurumi designer! And I would definitely be open to meeting another goat someday! 🐐🐐🐐
I love how whimsy these are, they just make my heart beat happy. Thank you for such a great review! I definitely need this book! Do you have an affiliate link for it?
I've recently got the books for my birthday, and I'm so excited to start those cuties. Now I'm impatiently waiting to receive the nice yarn I've ordered. I'll start with the "one star difficulty" ones, as I'm still a beginner. And I totally understand your feeling about goats and their crazy eyes ahah Thanks for your lovely review of the book ☺️
I have both books also and I like the second book alittle better than the first one, my favorite things to crochet are Amigurumi, my first was a very simple bear and fell in love, I use acrylic for most of my toys,
I just started making amigurumi and your videos have been so helpful and inspiring! I love seeing all of the patterns from the Pica Pau books, and I was wondering if you thought some of their patterns could be for pretty recent beginners. I've made a couple small and simple amigurumi, but I can't stop looking at the cute Pica Pau patterns :)
The precious Logan Koala 🐨 is going to find a place in my son’s (42 years old) Christmas stocking...no GA Bulldog this year 🥰. But his little shirt will be red and black of course 😂
I making my first pica pau from the original book, I'm making Pedro Von Dito pig, and he is almost finished, I just have to sow the arms, and make the legs
Pausing the video at the 1:41 mark to ask a question. You just mentioned Wooly Wonders Crochet, and in looking at their social media, they are not active for quite some time. Do you know if everything ok with them?? Praying for the best answer. If you can see this message, could you please respond? Thank you and HAPPY 2023!
I must admit that the goat you mentioned was very weird and I feel bad but I really do like goats! I got the first book a few weeks ago, and started to make the platypus. When I saw the second book I really wanted to get it but told my self that I should at least make a few characters in the first book. I love it how all the characters are soo adorable and the books are a reasonable price!
Love your channel! I think my favorite is that bee with the sweater. Btw what size crochet hook do you use? And is it compatible with worsted wait yarn?

Hi Elise! I want to say that I love your channel! I’m one of your big fan! I would like to know if you have a tip for helping the agurumi standing up by themself… I made a lot of amigurumi from Pica Pau, and theirs legs seem to weak for standing up easily … …THank you for your help!
I stuff the legs pretty firmly which helps, but sometimes over time the stuffing deflated and they can't stand up alone anymore. I have a few doll stands for amigurumi that I got on Etsy. 🧶🧶🧶
