  • A short review about the Flipper Lodge located in Pattaya Thailand on Beach Road at Soi 8. It is right on the beach and near both Soi 6 and Walking Street. You can also catch a Baht Bus or Song Theaw from near the hotel on Beach Road Pattaya. There is no joiner fee at the hotel but be sure to book for two if you expect a guest. If you pay for the breakfast included, you can then bring your guest if you book for two. Otherwise you can pay as you go for the buffet breakfast at 200 Baht per person each time. The buffet is wonderful with many options and you can refill your plate (and your coffee cup) as much as you like. Of course there are many other great hotels in Pattaya in this price range and also above and below. Note that the prices in the video are all inclusive with taxes etc. and may be higher than the bare prices you will see online on Agoda.com or Booking.com. There you will see prices as low as 800 Baht for a basic room with no breakfast.

Wonderful review and I fully agree with everything you said. I'd add that it is not worth saving a couple of bucks to stay in unrenovated Building B. It must be Building A -- either with or without a sea view (I always choose "without"). Thanks for mentioning the joiner /guest friendly issue. This hotel is very accommodating on this issue.

Good format, I like the shorter videos with lots of links, not the 45 minute ones that drag on forever.

We need someone who works in the hotel or was there recently. What is it like at the hotel if you want to go to Koh Larn Island as a couple? How much does it cost from the hotel and how quickly does it go?
