This video was terrific. Flipper Lodge is my go-to hotel for any time I'm in Pattaya. I've never experienced the pushing two beds together problem. And I've never noticed it noisy. You booked the sea view Building A room which is more expensive than the normal Building A rooms. Perhaps it's in an area which attracts noisy. I've faced out into Soi 8 a few times and never noticed the noise. Maybe you were just unlucky. You captured the features and what it's like there perfectly. And yes, the breakfast is first class.
We need someone who works in the hotel or was there recently. What is it like at the hotel if you want to go to Koh Larn Island as a couple? How much does it cost from the hotel and how quickly does it go?
I've always had a backpack, gotten off the bus a couple of stops early, and walked the 30-40 minutes there. A good chance to stretch my legs after being on a plane/bus for so many hours. Would be a different matter with luggage though.
Very friendly. The hotel is fully set-up to help you. Guest check in and check out takes seconds. There is a security guard for your safety near the elevators. You get the feeling the hotel is 100% supportive of what is happening.
I don't know if they offer a cheaper rate for monthly stays. I paid 1600 for 1 day (including bfast). That would be 48k for a month. It's best you contact them 🙂
Being a smoker whats the betting i would have been given a non smoking room.otherwise nice looking hotel and would be worth a try .Thanks for the video.

I will stay there again, really loved the location, but will avoid the same room 😄
@@goanywhere537 I go out a lot at night. I usually get back after 2am (when the bars close) so maybe my lifestyle helps me!
I have booked a room here for my travel this year so thank you very much for the detailed tour. I made the right choice!
Great location! Am sure you will like it 🙂
😅brilliant mate. I,ll put it on my short list. Right where the action is
It definitely is! Reasonably priced for a good location.
How about nearby loud sound and shower water pressure? Hear is nearby pub bar and pattaya some hotel water pressure very weak
No sound proof? 😢😢😢
water pressure is good!
Unfortunately the windows are not sound proof, so bar music can be loud at night

I've never been to Koh Larn, hope somebody that has been there will notice your comment 🙂
What's the best way to get there from the North bus terminal if I have luggage? Bolt, Grab? Thanks!
I found bolt to be slightly cheaper, and it's the best way from the bus station to the hotel if with luggage 😊

Hi mate. I missed how much Flipper per month. Is there a gym ? Cheers mate
No gym in this hotel. Can't remember how much per month or if they offer special long term rate. Building B might be cheaper though
In which category rooms they have a balcony??
No room with balcony. The building may look like there are balconies but they're for the AC's 😃
@@goanywhere537 aah ohkk. Hope they have a smoking room in superior double category.
Yes they do!
Could you mention the tariffs
The daily rates varies. Weekends are typically higher than weekdays. I paid 1600 baht thru agoda (breakfast included)
Is it guest friendly?
Yes

Building A is the better one isn’t it?
Yes. Renovated rooms👍

@@goanywhere537 wtf, 1800 for one night? You could stay at a decent place like A-One or Discovery Beach for that.
How far from walking street and how much per night
It’s about 3km from walking street. You can take the songthaew (10thb) though if you don’t want to walk 🙂

I think they have many smoking rooms.
There are no smoking rooms anywhere in Pattaya. It’s 2024 not 1975. And stop smoking, you’re not a child. Control your addictions.
