I’ve stayed here a few times, the Hilton and Holiday Inn, mainly for convenience as I normally have early morning flights. I agree the premier plus room are nicer and breakfast is also good value. I’m staying New Year’s Eve this year again for an early morning flight. It is nice to be within walking distance of the terminal and at the beginning of this year stayed at the Hilton, mainly for the guaranteed parking. Won’t have breakfast this time as I have lounge access. All in all a very comfortable and convenient hotel.

Interesting to get your perspective. What did you think of the Hilton and the Holiday Inn?
With prices this low we find it hard not to stay at Premier Inn. We'd like to try the others though some day.
      Thanks for watching 👍📺👀

That's very interesting, as we stop in this hotel all the time and we always choose Premier Plus room, so it was nice to be able to see a standard room finally, the carpet looks different in the standard and not as nice, I see the bathroom isn't as nice as the premier plus one, I love their bathroom up there - the only drawback for me is, how do you manage to request in advance a runway room, we've been lucky thus far in all the times we've stopped, but try ringing the hotel and you can never get through, so how do you go about doing this?

So interestingly since we did the Premier Plus its been hard to go back to the standard. As for the runway rooms it's complicated. Calling up to put a note on the system does nothing unless they are dead quiet. It's purely down to first come first serve. Aim for check in time but if it's the standard room it appears they prioritise the Premier Plus rooms which are only on the 7th floor 👍 Hope that helps

Cheers 👍 one of our favourites. Just getting an airplane view room is hard.

How did you film all the areas where people are? Like reception, Costa, breakfast area. Did you ask the staff first?
I lived at this hotel for 3 months. Paid myself. My abusive parents had kicked me out and made me homeless... Yet again. I had savings. My time here was memorable and I miss living at this hotel. I would sometimes go across to the Hilton for breakfast and to just sit there and be on my laptop because the environment is so nice there.
I walked around the area too, and discovered a park about a 25 minute walk from the hotel. I think it's called Bedford Lakes Country Park. It's fairly big.
Most staff at the hotel were great. There's one older moody woman who cleans the rooms and a few not so nice reception and dining area staff.
    Overall I loved it there.
Oh and the air conditioning which is also heating, is temperamental. It also turns off automatically by the main system which is programmed to turn it off at certain times throughout the day.

That was interesting to read. We love the suggestion for Bedford Lake Park. Will try and visit it next time we stay.
Agreed with the air con. I guess they are quite cost conscious so it's on an auto setting. Hard to get it the right temperature.

Excellent question. Unfortunately they do not buy have a look on the link below.

One of the photos shows that in the older style room the lounger by the window can be converted and it appears you can accommodate two children in addition to the double bed.
